The overall service of the hotel was excellent. The location of the hotel is also close to the center. You can walk from hotel to connaught place. I'll leave you with a few drawbacks. The first, main menus and price tags of restaurants should be in front of the restaurants. It will likely help customers. The second, It would be nice to organize a Japanese, Chinese or Korean style menu in the hotel breakfast menu. There were only local and European menus, so I had no choice.For your information, I stayed at the hotel for nine days. The last, I wish you would let me know when I check in that the hotel club, Kitti su, is a gay club. This was the most uncomfortable and upsetting part of the trip. I hope you improve

Little bit old, but comfortable
오래된 호텔이라 가구 등 전반적으로 낡았지만 고풍스럽다. 스팀사우나도 괜찮은편. 조식에 플레인 난 이 나오지 않아 아쉽지만 음식은 맛있다 접근성이 좋아 여행자들에게도 좋을듯 하다

[중상급 호텔] 더 랄리트 뉴델리
오래된 호텔이어서인지 깔끔하지 못했습니다. 주변 상권과도 거리가 있어서 즐길 수 있는 내용은 없습니다. 처음 호텔에 들어가서 미니바 문이 고장난 것을 보고 메세지를 남겼는데 다음날 바로 수리를 해 준 점은 칭찬하고 싶습니다.

나름 만족스러운 호텔
아침식사. 호텔 설비등등 매우 훌륭합니다. 시간부족으로 가 보지는 못하였지만 델리의 유명한 클럽도 있다고 하더군요. 전반적으로 만족합니다만, 새벽 2시에 첵인하는데, 신속한 Registration보다는 모든 정보를 얻고가 하는 호텔 Reception의 태도는 매우 피곤한 시간에는 그다지 유쾌하진 않습니다. 다만, 그외의 모든 Reception의 태도는 매우 만족하였습니다.

예약된 방을 준비도 안해 놓은 호텔
예약과 다른 방 지정 : 금연, 투윈룸 예약했는데 방을 준비해 놓지 않아서 이미 예약된 방과 같은 조건은 만실이라고 함. 그래서 냄새나는 흡연 룸에서 하루 자게 되었음. 다음 날은 금연방으로 옮겼는데 욕실에 욕조가 없는 작은방으로 옮겨 주었음. 5성급호텔에서 욕조없는 것은 이해가 안됨. 호텔스 닷컴에서 사진에는 멋진 욕조가 있었는데 사진과 다른 방을 배정 받음.

The staff was pleasant though my best experience was with a waiter in the coffee shop who served my wife and I at the breakfast table on both days of my stay. He was very attentive, courteous and proactive while providing us excellent service that used to be the highlight of my mornings. His name is Jitendra Pandey, an old timer with old fashioned values and a great sense of responsibility and ownership. Many many thanks to him from both my wife and I. 🙏

The Bell staff was exceptional, Especially Pawan! Pawan was able to fix my broken bag and arrange for a courier to pick up my bags to be shipped back to the USA. He was easy to communicate with, very friendly, and very knowledgeable about how to get things accomplished. Thank you so much for making my stay at Lalit so pleasant! The Lalit is a very nice hotel, centrally located, comfortable and pleasant people at reception. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The place is just amazing yet the staff are so hard to deal with, the operator and reception never pick up, and when they do you never get anything done, you keep on waiting for hours. I asked for someone to fix the sink and waited a whole day, I asked to change the room and never got a reply back.

Not 5 star. More like 3. Nice enough hotel but we had a disappointing experience. We have to ask many times for extra towels. Had an extra guest stay for one night. They didn’t bring up the extra bed. Last night ordered room service and was told we had to pay cash and couldn’t put on our bill. But the previous night we could add to our rooms bill. Then the food was cold. For the price we paid I expected more. Breakfast selection huge, but very average.

Overcharge for early check-in
The hotel is located well in the heart of New Delhi. The hotel is 75 years old but well maintained. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety and tasty food. I've had an issue with the early check in and hot water. I've arrived at 03:30 in the morning strait from the airport. I've tried to book the night before but rejected. I've send a message to the hotel to do a late checkin. The requested me to arrive to the reception in the morning of the check-in while refusing to close that issue in advanced. Arriving to the hotel I've found out that the hotel team has decided to use that situation to their advantage while charging 150% from the standard night rate for late check-in. I've expected a charge of 60%~70% as fair price and a charge of single room (100%) as acceptable one. A charge of 150% is taking an advantage over a situation which they've created purposely. Except from the following the hotel was very nice.

For a five star hotel there are defibitely a few things lacking. The hotel itself is starting to feel aged, the room cards kept malfunctioning. We had to reset our cards 6 times on 3 days. The bathroom although big was not the cleanest, showers were rusted. No one informed us that the swimming pool was closed before booking. The drinks even with a very high pricd tag are not the greatest. Overall we did not feel it was good value for money.

Good property in a central convenient location. Staff are good and helpful. Was good value for money for me Only drawback was when I was queueing up to check in the staff who weren't with customers were in no rush to serve but when 2 different local customers jumped the queue and barged in they didn't seem to mind speaking to them. Quite irritating when you are queueing up politely

We had a great stay for 5 nights at the LaLiT. The breakfast buffet was the best we had our whole trip, beside the chai was a bit watery but still delicious. The stuff was very friendly and helped with any problems we had (communication with driver or organisations). They have a problem with their room cards, we had to renew them every 1-2 days, what was a bit annoying but not a real problem. All in all we had a fantastic stay

The ambience and overall appearance of the hotel premises was wonderful. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend it to friends and family. However, I found that the food was a little less toward my liking.

During my stay of 5 nights, I had to change roooms two times! Basic things like towels are like scarce. We had to keep asking for multiple times to get one or two!! Basic things like smart TV one would have expected for the kind of hotel were missing. Hotel need upgrade due to age.

I have stayed at the Lalit previously but it appeared a little run down. Staff were so busy and we had to wait 10-15minutes in line to have our keys reactivated. Keys were always unactivated.

Lalit Delhi does not reflect a 5-star property. I had a bed bug issue in my room. After calling, they send people to look and confirm. The next worst part was the delay in resolution. I asked for a room upgrade, but it took almost 2 hrs for the management to coordinate. After every call, they send a new person asking the same thing. Finally, after going to reception and again explaining the issue, they changed my room. I am thankful that I spotted the bedbug before starting the night, o/w would have risked further infection issues. This is my second time at this property, but they should learn to meet cleanliness requirements and have better customer service. Don't know if I will be going back again :(
