Thank you for staying with us. I would like to clarify some points regarding your stay that may have made you feel that way. You arrived at 8 pm and the office was not closed, as we knew you were coming and we closed at 9 pm; the office clerk just stepped out for a moment. Sometimes they store luggage at the visitor center, but sometimes they don't. Thanks for letting us know they do it for 1/hour. We didn't realize the laundry was bothering you because you were out of the room during the day and we ran the laundry between 11 am and 5 pm. Check-out time is 10 am, as listed in our website description. You may have missed this information if you got shocked when we told you that during check-in. Thanks for letting us know you liked our rooms with fridges, microwaves and our boardwalk with all the stores.

You requested to be in a room at the end of the motel and we accomodated you in that one, but sadly we can't control the traffic noise. We are sorry about your wait, the van can only accomodate a certain amount of people and the ones left, we made a second trip.

Thank you for staying with us, we are sorry you felt that way, but when you first came into the office, we gave you a check-in form to complete and you did not complete it, so I asked you to please complete the process and you were upset about that. A few hours after you were checked into the room you came into the office and you were a lot nicer than when you first came, asking questions about things around the area and then we ask you if you like the room and you said yes, so, we are very surprised with what you wrote in your review.

We are sorry you felt that way. To make the room secure, the opening code works a bit tricky, and we explained to you how to lock and unlock the room. If you were unable to lock it, that means you didn’t understand. We would have loved to have explained it again if you had asked. In every room, we have different amenities depending on the type of room. You booked a basic room, that has all the facilities and amenities we describe in our motel description. As mentioned before, you paid for a basic room, and you were asking for amenities that were not included, expecting amenities from a different type of room. Still, we gave you everything you asked for. We also provided you with more cups, but you didn’t ask for wrappers. Our bedding and linen come from Professional Laundry Facilities. We do not wash our linens. We did our best for you, and we gave you everything you requested: We always tell our guests “If you have any questions or problems, feel free to let us know”, our mission is to make our guests feel as happy as possible, but we never heard anything about your concerns.

Our sincere apologies to you for your bad experience; however, you may be confused about the hotel because when you stayed with us, you only booked for one night, not two nights as you indicated and you can check that on your reservation paper work. Each of our rooms has at least one chair, some have more, such as sofas and dining tables. In our description, we do not mention air conditioners, the fans we do have are not noisy, and the parking lot for the motel is not gravel. We have never had any problems with our ramp for wheelchair access, our downstairs rooms are prepared to be ADA friendly.

Mr. Bing, thank you for staying with us. I would like to clarify the situation with you. First, you called on 7/5/23 to cancel your reservation but as you already knew, our cancellation policy is under 14 days no refund. You were trying to cancel 5 days before your arrival, so you did not like the idea of not getting the refund and you decided to keep the reservation. Then, the same day as your arrival 7/10/2023 you called asking to change the card we charged, you wanted us to refund the whole amount of money and charge another card, we told you that’s not possible. By the time you arrived you were already mad, and you started saying the other hotel is better than us and you wish you could stay there without seeing our motel inside. We did our best with you, we showed you the room, you said you don’t want that one, we moved you to another one which you said you really liked it, you check the room before going in and you said you loved it. Everything you said we did our best to help you, but you never said the room was smelly or anything else, you just said you loved it and your wife said she loved it too. The office is always open from 8 am to 9 pm, we never close the office, there is always someone here to help our customers. For a room with 2 beds if you don’t have the 4 set of towels in the bathroom, they are on the shelf in the room, normally we have 2 or 3 in the bathroom and the rest of them on the shelf very visible. After all this, you still wanted to get half of the refund and you did not get it, you are still mad. We are so sorry you are being like that with us when we did our best with you. We love to have our customers happy and comfortable, that’s our mission.
