Surpassed expectations
Large luxury 2 bed,2 bathroom apartment surpassed expectations. Fully equipped kitchen and outside terrace. Centrally placed location. Good level of security and lovely and warm on a chilly day.

Started great - ended badly
Second time as these apartments. First time very very poor communication and I was stuck outside the main gates with no codes in get in. This visit started much better, very good communication, codes sent early. Good apartment. All was okay until getting out of shower in the morning and the glass shattered covering me in glass. Lots of splinters of glass , suffered cuts. Advised emergency number sent photos, someone rang me about 7 hrs later about any photos - advised them already sent twice but sent for 3rd time and then no communication- I have sent a number of messages but nothing. My cuts will be heal quicker than their actions. Not very reassuring

Lovely, clean and spacious had a great stay. The £10 parking charge on top should be included in cost as 1 vehicle per booking but apart from that would highly recommend and will defo stay again.

Impressive apartment, good eco friendly products
We stayed one night as part of a longer road trip, and this property was a wonderful surprise - my kids couldn’t believe it’s size and comfort! My wife was very impressed with the eco friendly products provided in the property - Ecover cleaning materials and Who Gives a Crap toilet paper were a pleasant surprise. Getting into the property and apartment at the start was complicated by the fact that I hadn’t checked my emails on the day we arrived - the instructions were in that email but it took some time to follow them as I was still a little dazed and confused after a long day at Alton Towers (there is no reception desk). Also, note there is no lift so getting to the top floor would be tricky if you are not fully mobile. Overall a very comfortable stay with large comfortable beds and a expansive living space and dining area.

Great stay
The apartment was located on the ground floor and the first door was to be heard from the inside in the kitchen. It was slightly annoying but during the night I could not hear it in the bedroom. If I did stay again I'd ask for an apartment upstairs. I thought the property was very clean and very spacious. I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend it.

Very smart apartments
We had apartment 24 - two bedroom. This is a top floor 'penthouse' (see top left in main building photo - also includes the centre balcony too). Large apartment with one large double en-suite bedroom with sunken bath and separate shower cubicle, one double bedroom, living area, dining area and kitchen - all of these open plan. Apartment also has another bathroom with large shower. Apartment is very smart - although kitchen and shower cubicles needs a little attention... but still clean and good to use! Definitely stay here again - very smart place! During our two night stay we had no student related issues. Secure, gated, private parking.

Ok facility, but with easy to make excellent.
Signage poor from main road (road works outside), gate access instructions (given over phone, reception was not clear on facility - reading from a sheet) poor (had to re-enter the number several times), better signage could have made easy. car park bay number identification poor visibility (arrived evening), door access instructions poor (again number given over phone), key located in a separate building. Lobby carpets need deep clean. Room decor needs a refresh. Kitchen work surfaces. No low level lighting in lounge. Easy jobs to improve and make excellent.

Totally disappointed.
Booked via Hotels.com just over a month ago and so looking forward to my stay as I was attending a 3 day workshop literally 3 mins walk away. No email was sent to provide me with codes to get in or where to find the keys, so took me an hour and several phone calls to get it all sorted. Apt manager never contacted me despite me leaving a voicemail with a contact number. Property very nice, but cleanliness disgusting! Cut hair all over bathroom sink and toilet top. Cut toe/finger nails on carpet in bedroom. Crumbs all over floor underneath dining table and on top. Crumbs all over counter tops and cooker was greasy. No cleaning items, cloths or tea towels in kitchen and washing left in washing machine! Balcony permanently unlocked, no key provided to lock it. The view from balcony was lovely overlooking the river and views of birds, ducks and egret! Location of property just perfect for my stay, but was spoilt by the state of the apt and lack of communication. Totally disappointed!

Really disappointing
Main thing to note is that this is next door to a student halls. The equipment that we were told was in the apartment was present but not sufficient for 4 adults and not all working. When we contacted the number to rectify the issues nobody came to help. Then there was an all night party. So to be specific not enough sofas to relax on, broken tv, window that didn’t close and an all night party with no one on site to do anything about it. When we called, nobody came and we had no sleep.

Great apartment
Apartment was excellent - thanks to SACO! Check in was not smooth and rescued by the SACO housekeeper who we happened to bump into. The reason for this was incorrect information given on hotels.com confirmation email about a non existent concierge desk. The check in is 'self check in' and relies on an email with access codes from SACO - apparently only sent at check in time itself. Now we know - this won't be an issue, but it was very confusing at the time.

Hygiene was 10/10 very clean! Just a few things wrong with the apartment, ie bedroom door handle was broke , one of the lamp shades were broken , had the window open 10 mins and the rain came in and the pain went down the wall , you can tell it’s been re painted a couple of times. Obviously they know about these small things but if someone payed a deposit and all these occurred then they would have there deposit removed for something that’s not of there fault! But other than that it was good customer service , bedding was clean , heating worked! Overall rage 8/10

部屋の間取りがよく落ち着けるダイニングリビング。街へのアクセスがいい。コストパフォーマンスが非常にいい。 風呂の給湯量が少ない。４人で使うと途中で水になる。セイフティボックスが使えなかった。中の電池が外れていて取り付けても作動しない。不具合を担当に電話しても電源が入っていなくれんらくがつかなかった。

Poor stay
Stayed quite a few times at these apartments but not again, only had hot water in mornings , rang to complain and sent a blunt email stating you can only use hot water certain times and I was trying to shower at the wrong times , still waiting for them to contact me, curtain rail hanging down,cigarette stubs all over car park, I do not usually write reviews but no hot water and lack of respect for there guest ,will not be booking again

Dear Gail, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are sorry to read that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We do provide a 24/7 contact number to address any issues you may have during your stay, if these were brought to our attention we would have quickly and gladly rectified these for you. Each unit has a separate water tank which is set to heat up in the morning and the evening, outside of these times there is a boost function to ensure hot water is available. Unfortunately we are not responsible for the carpark onsite however this is cleaned twice a week by our team and then fortnightly by a professional maintenance company. We do provide ash bins in dedicated areas, unfortunately a small number of people occasionally do not use these. All apartments are checked thoroughly prior to arrival and i am surprised to hear that there was items missing in the kitchen and maintenance items, i do apologise if these were missed. Thank you for bringing the curtain rail to our attention this has now been fixed. We are sorry that your stay wasn't to the usual high standards that we strive to provide, we do hope to welcome you back in the future. Kindest regards Georgina Hennessy

セーフティボックスが使えない。中に電池が転がっており設置したがつかえなかった。 洗濯機乾燥機の乾きが悪い。2度干し必要。 風呂温水が4人には少ない。途中で水になる。急速給湯設定したがお湯が出ない。 部屋の間取り大きさは充分でよかった。

self-check-in apartment in Derby
These apartments are self-check-in, with instructions arriving via email, but quite straight-forward. There is secure parking for those that need it. If you arrive by train it is a half hour walk across town or a short taxi ride away. We had all we needed in the apartment to make our stay comfortable. It was a slight disappointment to discover after we'd connected our first device to the wifi then tried to connect our second one that the code provided only worked once. single-use only worked for that one device, So be warned that only one device can be connected during the stay and make sure you connect the one that is most useful!
