Have stayed here several times. Have had no problems,but it is just an old run down facility. Price is right and owners are friendly.

cold air comming from the door micowave wasnt clean they had cable tv but no wifi i called the office sunday to ask what the password was for the wifi she said they dont have wifi phone in the room didnt work i think i should atleast get $20-30 back for not having wifi all the other motels have wifi if they dont have wifi they are not going to have very many people staying there i was in #121 thank you Joyce Allen please put the money back on my card from not having wifi

Bed was a little harder in this room than other rooms on property. Ice machine was working and that was a pleasant bonus. Nice owners as usual.

Rats nest in the bed
There was a rats nest in one of the beds and it was gross it wasn't clean and there was no getting a refund or another room in the area if you another hotel option i would go with that

This motel is not worth the stay.
There were coacroches, you ciukd see it wasxrab down the front desk lady was rude i had my dog with me andvi got a fine for a 100.00 from the lady at front desk for having my small dog and when i ask for a receipt she hesitated the wrote it with no information ok it and only wrote i onky paid $75.00 and didn't sign her name in it, and was very rude as she told me i had to take my dog somewhere else i never seen such rude disrespectful service i Like this before i never heard of a hotel thatxwasnt pet friendly but this women wasn't even human friendly no lennin for the room the whole 4 days we stayed i do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO STAY

Not so great overall, heard voices from the room next door all night. The plumbing is terrible whenever a toilet would flush somewhere in the building the pipes would cause sounds that would wake us up throughout the night,

Comfortable Hotel for the Location & Price. We were there for the Iowa State Fair, last wknd. I like the rooms with 3 beds as it works well for my family.

U get what u paid for
U definitely get what u paid for.. lol.. refrigerator did not work. Bathroom door broken couldn’t even use the handle or it would fall off. Bed sooo uncomfortable I work up sore both mornings. And the carpets were nasty turned my sons feet black.. but other then that not too bad. Like I said u get what u pay for.

This hotel needs a remodel and a good cleaning. The top deadbolt didn’t work on my door, which made me feel very unsafe. The room was ice cold when I arrived and the front desk (owner) was not hospitable—actually looked like he was not happy to have an occupant in the almost vacant hotel. It’s a dive, it’s dirty and I would not recommend it. The price was unreasonable for the accommodations as well. They have ice buckets but don’t have ice, the cables to the tv are exposed and junky. They use a window a/c until to heat the rooms but the guest has to wait for the room to heat up because it is off. The carpet and bathroom need major cleaning and the overall experience was not worth $56.

not the best place to stay
Not sure how I was booked into a smoking room, but the desk clerk was able to make the change. That was probably the best thing about this place.

The price was decent. Very dirty compared to the last time we stayed here. No light bulb in a lamp, toilet very disgusting and moldy. Bedding not clean (stained sheets), and dust on lamp fixtures.

Older motel which is fine but curtains had holes in them felt like you were sinking to the floor on the mattress just needed major updating cost for this was terrible for the condition. There was also no coffee in the room or on the premises

Stay away unless no other option
This place is a dump. I don’t know how long the current owners have had it, or if they know anything about running a motel, but they need help. The room smelled musty, the walls were fluorescent lime green and orange. The wiring is bad, circuit had popped while we were there. The shower head went as high as my neck. I’m 5’5” and was ducking to rinse off. Bed spreads were old. Shower drain was almost completely plugged. The place has potential, I’ve stayed at worse places, but was expecting more when I saw the pics and booked online. They were full up. I’m assuming due to the concert at the fair that night. For 100.00 a night, go someplace else.

The property was kind of a dump for $85 a night. No problem though because I was honestly just there for the Slipknot concert :). The room was just a place for me to sleep and shower. The motel wasn't that nice though. No problem though
