Loved it . Old house with antique shop to one side. Room very fresh ,clean and bright. The hosts Clive and Tina could not do enough for you. Lovely couple ,welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble . Their objective was to make sure you were as comfortable as could be. The breakfasts were plentiful and very filling with a good choice of foods also had homemade berry compote to go with it . Location in town centre within easy reach of everywhere. I can honestly say i will be returning . Loved our 4 nights there and was sorry to leave if were honest . Well done Clive and Tina

I was very happy with this B & B. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Very central to Bovey town. The breakfast was very good too, served within the antique shop with lots to look at. I would stay here again.

Great location
Was unable to communicate with owners prior to visit. Sent four messages via the Vrbo site with no response. Owners are not hooked up to their messaging system but would recommend!!! Also, was handed a paper receipt which was a nice touch but unnecessary as already received via email on VRBO site. Save Trees and time and skip that. Nice people and breakfast was delicious.

Tina and Clive were wonderful hosts and eager to please. Charming and entertaining to have breakfast in the middle of an antique shop!

So much more than just a place to stay
Lovely comfortable rooms. With wonderful bed and luxurious soft pillows. Good hot shower. Best thing was the amazing breakfast and the owners own home made berry compote. Beautiful old building and warm and friendly hosts you almost sad to say goodbye to. Will definitely stay again. Thank you. Ps lovely local area too

OK but over priced
The room was clean and everything provided. However, not double glassed windows so not possible to open a fanlight for ventilation. The cheap value shower difficult to control the temperature. The cheap value bendy plastic toilet seat has a mind of its own . Cold room. I think the gristly sausage was own brand value range. Council car park a few mins walk away.

Comfortable stay
Room was clean, private bathroom was along corridor but robe was provided. Was told hosts use it as well overnight. Left early so can not comment on food. Breakfast had to be ordered night before but wide choice offered. Friendly host. Nice house.

A lovely quiet B & B.
This was in a leafy Devon town on the edge of Dartmoor. It was a house and shopmstacked with antiques with a warm old charm. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly, breakfast was wonderful, room was charming and bed was SO comfortable.

Step back in time for a pleasurable stay
If you like something a little quirky and nostalgic with good old fashioned service you will like this. A combination of bandb, antique centre and tea room make this decidely different. Cash is king here so forget the credit or debit card but Tina is a most welcoming host who provides a great breakfast and friendly personal experience. Slight drawback with parking limited to nearby council car park which provides spaces at reasonable or free cost depending on what time you leave in the morning. Excellent value for money for the area means this is a place I would happily stay at again.

A pleasant stay and nice hostess. Lots of china in her tea room antique store where we had breakfast. A little bit hard to find as the gate was closed and shop said closed. Parking in a parking lot was suffice as no parking on site.

Friendly Welcome, Genuine Care, Lovely Comforts.
Needed an overnight stay (but perfect for longer B&B stay for Dartmoor/Exeter/Coast too, with a car); found this perfect place! Lovely clean, well-cared-for ensuite twin room, comfortable without being fussy. Genuinely-hospitable hosts, and a vg breakfast in a unique and delightful dining room. Good recommendation given for evening dinner a short walk away. All very very good, and I'd go back on another stay.

A Traditional 3 star Guest House
We found it important to arrive after 4pm especially on Wednesday. The large house set back from the road is very clean and well maintained. It is very full of China and includes a show room of China. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and gave you an excellent choice of breakfast. I found the double bedroom smaller than what I am used to. It has a lot of furniture. The bedding was good quality. We shared a bathroom.
