We are a 4 star Hotel with all that comes with that. We have 4 floors and no lift so we are definitely not geared up for the older generation!

Our single rooms are all of a similar size ; however all top floor rooms have just been through a refurbishment and are more in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Unfortunately this was scheduled for last year but had to be postponed due to Covid.

Thank you for your lovely review. All 3rd floor rooms are being refurbished this month. Water pressure can be problematic on the 3rd floor, but we will be looking at this again during the refurb. We hope to see you again on your next visit to Plymouth.

Thank you for your amazing review. We had to adjust our breakfast menu during Covid, and offer a much reduced offering as well as removing our menus from the tables. As we move forward we are planning on re-instating all menus and getting back to offering a far greater range of options. The windows have now been done! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Your room was on the 3rd floor, but this is the actual room you booked on Expedia. It did state it was on this floor of the hotel. We do have other options on lower floors. You booked a room only rate. Our breakfasts are competitively priced with other hotels in the vicinity, and again the price is shown clearly on Expedia's website. For this price you are entitled to unlimited tea, coffee and fruit juice. We offer cereals, yoghurts, pastries and a full english breakfast cooked to order.

We apologise there was only one bottle of water in your room, there should have been two. We could have rectified this if you had just asked at Reception. We do only have a kettle in the room, we only provide regular tea and coffee in the rooms, but again if you had asked at Reception we could have offered you a range of other teas. Our refurbishment plans were unfortunately halted back in April when we had to put a pause on the remaining rooms. We are hoping to get this back on track in the Winter. Good afternoon, I'm sorry you didn't fully enjoy your stay with us. As you know we do accept dogs in certain rooms on our lower floors at a cost for £10 per night. The rooms are in no way inferior to any of our others. We have a 10 bay car park which we run on a first come first served basis but it isn't possible to accommodate all cars. We do have reduced rate day parking permits for street parking at £5. The hotel has an enviable position close to the sea front so it can get busy but there are always places to park a short walk away. We don't advertise that we have air conditioning at our hotel. We do have fans available. They are usually in the rooms but due to Covid restrictions we have had to remove them. They are available on request. I'm pleased you found our staff pleasant and the hotel up to our usual standards of cleanliness. We are operating within the Covid-19 guidelines at all times. We hope you give us another try on your next visit to Plymouth.
