The room was incredibly small and very tired. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The rooms could just stand an upgrade. Be prepared for a tiny tiny space. Breakfast was good. Had an omelette. It was tasty.

Needs a deep clean! Carpets grubby, issues with plumbing, dirty bathroom (grime and stained sealants). Staff obviously don't care. Wouldn't stay here again.

Thermostat penny pinching - shame!
Helpful receptionist at check in. Food wasn’t great. Hot water was not hot enough to bath in. Other wise ok!

Good hotel bad experience
Fire alarm when off at 4 am taking into consideration i got in at 3am and had about 40 min sleep then fore alrarm when of wich was right on top of my bed had to get changed go outside in -1 for around 40 min then could not go back to sleep had to check out at 10 am besides this the hotel is good

Our stay was lovely the room was a good size with us having a baby too was plenty of room for us all. Clean and tidy premises with plenty of parking. Staff were kind. Only issue we had was fire alarms went off at 4am no fault of owner other guest smoking in their rooms so all had go outside was a but of a faff with baby trying to contact the staff to come turn off the fire alarms as no answer to out of hours phone calls. Other than that lovely stay and would stay again in future.

Walls were thin and didn't block much sound. Fire alarm went off at 4am (not the property's fault) and the fire brigade arrived quickly. Room needed some additional cleaning but wasn't too bad. Staff were nice.

Steve could not of been more helpful and welcoming The housekeeping was very good Breakfast was amazing at £12 a head Plenty of parking too Very enjoyable stay Will definitely recommend to friends and family

Lovely place
We loved our stay, and have a particular favourite room. We never go anywhere else, as they hotel is beautiful with history. The views are lovely and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are amenities nearby and public transportation.

Hotel is adequate , They have one girl on reception and doing the bar , so when i was checking in , its was busy in the bar and had to wait. Same when i came too bar few people checking in and long wait. Needs 2 people , and i think the owner was stood behind the bar drinking , no acknowledgment
