Disappointed...
One of the staff at reception was so rude that I felt quite bad from the first impression. Cleanliness was also terrible, I saw coakroach in the bedroom. Breakfast was quite disappointing. However, price and location are advantage for this hotel. But I wouldn't stay here if I have chance to visit Doha again.

Worst hotel EVER
I am Asian American, and I felt discrimination there. They treat Yellow people like sxxt and only deal with White and Qatari. I was so embarrassed many times, and not allowed me to park and requested me to part at basement. This is racist hotel. Don't ever come if you are not White or Qatari.

공항에서 무료 픽업 서비스를 해주는 것 빼고는 2성급 호텔과 비교해 더 좋을 것은 없습니다. 시설은 나쁘지 않지만 할인 없이 가기에는 돈이 아까울거 같습니다. 도하 숙소들이 쓸데 없이 비싼 가격대라 칠만원 이내라면 가셔도 좋을듯...

AVOID AVOID AVOID I booked 8 nights at this hotel. I arrived one day late due to delayed flight, and after spending one night I decided I can’t stay. The place is not clean and the room was old and the smell was bad. There was no wifi coverage except in a small corner of the room and it was weak and inconsistent. I went to management and asked them for an early check out. I requested that they refund me half of my stay (4 nights out of 8) despite the fact that I had the room for only 2. They refused at first and only pretended to accept (see below) after a long discussion and making my case regarding how poor the facility is compared to what’s advertised. They said that I should contact expedia to request early check out and that they’ll accept the request when they receive it from expedia. I did contact Expedia, and a couple of days later I received an email from them saying the hotel rejected the request of early check out. So this hotel is overpriced, not clean, outdated, and above all has a management that has no issue with lying to customers to their face. You can do much better for the same price elsewhere. Avoid this place.

The staff were really hospitable and excellent. We stayed there for 11 days. Our experience was really good. They accommodate to our request. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast wasn’t worthwhile

While the location of Golden Ocean Hotel is convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired. The rooms were dated and in need of renovation, with worn-out furnishings and a musty smell. Additionally, the noise from neighboring rooms and the street outside made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The amenities were lacking, and the staff seemed disinterested in addressing guests' concerns. Overall, the hotel fell short of expectations and did not provide a satisfactory experience.

When I arrived, the staff was friendly and even bumped me up to a bigger room. The room, however, had a stale odor. Looking around, I found that there was mould throughout - especially in the washroom. In fact, the washroom ceiling was cracked and looked like it was ready to collapse, and you could clearly see the mould all over. Will not stay there again.

FALSE MARKETING & ADVERTISING
They advertise having welcome drinks and its not true, they advertise having a pillow menu see picture below, its not true, the staff is unfriendly, unethical , they only cae about money they do not care about customer service, housekeeping never cleans, they are very cheap with their clients, besides the Gambian at the Gym , one Sri Lankan gentleman who has glasses and works in the office and the Bengladesh gentlemen whom is at the door, and the pool monitor all the other staff is terrible specifically reservation and reception , we do not advise you to go there in our many years of travelling and visitint over 50 hotels in the world we have never sent such horrible review and we are obliged to say the truth , don't spend your money there, its not worth it, even for free we would never go back

WORSE HOTEL IN QATAR
This hotel is the worse in Qatar , due to a payment problem with the Hotel machine they dares harassed us and called us 40 times and even at midnight while our children were sleeping for 30$CAD when we had spent over 500 on this hotel with various extension , Mr.Khan at reception was so rude he told us it was not his problem if the machine had issue that we could choose another hotel, people are so rude and racist and unprofessional it feels like being in a cemetery do no go there there are plenty of wonderful places in Qatar go elsewhere they don't deserve your hard earned money

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
We travelled over the world and visited over 50 hotels this is the worse experience we had, this Hotel has no Baraka, house keeping never cleans unless you harass them to come, the reception is rude, unprofessional and racist, we came with our family and we advise you to go to hotel nearby where people understand the hospitality business we only choose this hotel for the children playground but after being mistreaded, we saw zero value for out money we wish to give minus 50 stars this hotels is a shame for the Wonderful State of Qatar there are many other places to stay do no go there.

The staffs are good and attentive to customers. Mr Sarfaraz is the best person in the reception. He manage everything so smoothly and his personality is awesome. He knows what customers want and he provides his best to satisfy the customers needs. I am thankful to him for making my stay comfortable.
