This was an overnight stop for the ferry to Guernsey and it was extremely convenient .
The rooms are above a small privately owned cafe and gift shop. There are 4 rooms over 2 floors. The top floor is a bit of a climb, but well worth it. We were in a double ensuite. The shower room was obviously quite new, and had a lovely walk in shower, with loo and sink. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding and towels were of a high quality. There was a small area with a kettle and everything you needed for making tea or coffee, also biscuits and bottled water. Downstairs in the cafe/shop area is where you have your breakfast. We opted for a full English which was freshly cooked by the owner, and it was delicious. There is plenty of choice for breakfast. The owner is delightful and gave us good directions on where to go for an evening meal.
With it being in the town centre, it is pedestrianised, so getting luggage from the car to your accommodation is slightly difficult. There are car parks quite close, but most have a four hour limit on them. With this being the only drawback, we will definitely use this b&b again.
