좋은 전망의 안락한 호텔
언덕위 바다 조망의 깨끗하고 안락한 호텔이었습니다. 객실 크기는 비교적 큰 편이었고, 직원들도 친절했으며, 조식도 훌륭했습니다. 사용해본적은 없으나 수영장과 자쿠지 등도 무료로 이용가능하다고 합니다. 아쉬웠던 점은 욕실의 샤워 수도꼭지가 매우 독특한 (구형의?) 방식의 것이라 사용에 어려움이 컸던 것 입니다 (비슷한 후기들이 많이 보이네요). 반드시 호텔 직원을 호출해서 샤워 사용법을 충분히 익혀두시길 추천합니다.

시내 및 해변과 가까워서 호텔위치는 좋습니다. 시설이 조금 낙후되어 있습니다. 호텔 음식 및 안내 서비스는 상당히 훌륭합니다. 가격대비 만족스럽습니다.

We loved the sea view in our room and the balcony. But I was ignored by two reception staff while waiting for over 10 mins, the second staff member didn’t acknowledge I was waiting. Plus house keeping walked in unannounced, when.

Hotel was nice as you entered and the ground floor was well decorated but the rooms were very tired. Wardrobe doors were hanging off and our room needed decorating badly, room size was great with plenty of room, it was dog friendly so I assume this was the reason. Staff were very friendly but slow as we constantly ran out of milk and tea in the room. Would not stay there again.

A lovely hotel, however a xmas party of 200 people carried on into the morning - so our restful break was ruined. It was fine up until then. Good staff but no one would answer my call 1am in the morning so I will be writing to the GM. Cut off for 12.00 2wpupd have been fine. :(

We were very disappointed, we booked in for the night so we could attend a birthday party in the next door hotel.my sister drove down from London so we arrived at 4oclock with every intention of having a drink in the bar beforehand only to be told on arrival it was the last day of trading and that the bar was shut. Our rooms were a big let down, bathroom smelt of urine, curtains hanging off the rail and chairs were badly marked. I didn’t bother showering in the morning as couldn’t stand the smell.I think if it’s the last day of trading we should have been notified about the bar ect on booking and should never of been charged the full price.

Room was clean but no facilities in hotel, couldn’t get a drink in hotel after I spoke directly to Best Western on Friday after a couple of reviews said about facilities being closed, but was assured everything was open, two staff on duty Saturday night were less than helpful with helping us with a taxi

Overnight family holiday
The room was great. Too bad there is no access for prams so i had to carry it up the stairs. Joey was the best. She made sure our stay was comfortable and went the extra mile to provide a 5 star service. She is very good with kids as well. Someone give her a promotion!

I think the hotel need to be painted, clean the balcony. When we come there the swimming pool is broken. It so nice the pool but we cannot use it. They have to look at it. The hotel seems tired However the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is not bad as well.

Run down, unclean and staff disinterested but goo.
Check in girl was pleasant but had an issue with body odour whxj was very unpleasant. The marble reception top was greasy and dirty as was the entrance and lift in the hotel. There was a linen napkin, a box of cigarettes and other rubbish in the plants by the reception door when we arrived which was still there when we left 2 days later. The other check in staff that we spoke to were very blunt and uninterested in helping us with our enquiries. The pool was closed so we were told to use the pool At the sister hotel but when we arrived there this too was closed and remained closed for the duration of our stay. Very disappointed overall with our stay as the sister hotel next door was the complete opposite when we stayed there in October. On a positive note, the breakfast was very good as is the location.

My check in was great! Joey and the other receptionist were amazing! So friendly, playful with my dog and just polite to all hotel guests who passed by. I cannot praise them enough! In terms of the room, bed was comfortable, fairly clean room and no smells. Outside of building definitely needs some work - cobwebs everywhere, wood damage; just not the best entrances to a hotel. And paid parking! That was too expensive £20! :( They only serve breakfast but I missed it. Good thing is you are allowed to order in from outside. Their sister hotel has all the facilities but I didn’t visit any. Overall, will stay again for staff friendliness not hotel facilities.

Location amazing but needs TLC in places
was very sceptical about staying here looking at the reviews and knowing i will have to pay for parking for 3 nights. Arrived and the place looks very ran down from the outside needs abit of tlc. Walk inside and it does look very nice and classy but the welcoming wasn’t amazing. we asked for an early check in and arrived about 1 ish to check in the lady who checked us in was very welcoming and reassuring and put me at ease tbh. We arrived at our room and thank god it wasn’t as bad some of the reviews i see. although some light bulbs didn’t work and you could feel on the carpet it needed a good hoover. Little touches like at breakfast the window sill and loads of dust and dirt on it breakfast was extremely basic, bacon looked like it would still go oink 🐷 and it was the same food every day. When walking past reception a smile or a welcome wouldn’t go a miss either it’s just the little tocuhes really that make your stay a lot nicer. The parking was a joke £20 a night to park in the car park , might cheaper to park on the road and checking out i had to pay £15 early check in fee which was fine but a please or a thank you wouldn’t go a miss. Location was the best thing about this place, but deffo needs some tlc rooms and outside their pool could be lovely rather than sending everyone over to the carlton hotel it could be a really nice place with a lot of potential.

Curb appeal was not good, outside swimming pool not in use, room size was good view from the balcony fantastic, breakfast was very good, £30 to park in the hotel car park for two nights not impressed, all in all 7/10.

The hotel did have a smell on approach which I think could be addressed easily. The rooms however were very clean, we could smell the freshness in the towels and bed linen. Excellent choice for a budget trip!

Bournemouth hotel
Great hotel and location, the only draw back was looking at a swimming pool that was closed and when we enquired they said they have no intention of opening it. We could use the pool at sister hotel next door, but that meant having to take all your stuff with you.

Good hotel - pool and other facilities provided by sister hotel Carlton which is right next to it so very convenient. Can do with a lick of paint outside and some minor TLC inside as well; besides that I had a very pleasant stay - breakfast was good and the room itself was up to standard.

Great potential, but a bit lacking
The hot water took A LONG time to reach the room. We had to let the water run for at least 10 minutes during the morning before it started to warm up... and this was in the summer time. The breakfast was quite basic, there was the standard english breakfast options (eggs, bacon, etc.) but only 1 type of bread, which was for toasting. Majority of the staff was nice, but the person at reception during the day was quite flustered for having to get out of her chair a few times.

Reception area was bright and inviting, staff at reception were always friendly and welcoming, can’t fault them. Check in/out was very easy and we were able to check into the room earlier than stated on the booking. Room was exactly as pictured, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Bed was very comfortable and perfect for a 2 night stay or longer. Parking was easily accessible and only £20 for roughly 36 hours.
