Front desk phones were not working for the whole three nights I stayed there. I was in a walk-in boot because of foot issue and had to walk downstairs every time I needed something I couldn’t call and ask question because of their phone lines were down the front desk worker was never at the desk. It was always a wait, I only had one washcloth in my room upon arrival, Go downstairs to ask front desk worker to provide me with another washcloth. She said they are all in the dryer there I was having to wait hours before I took showers. I am in a boot. I go back downstairs to retrieve my wash clothes. The facility needs some major upgrading and major attention. That was my first day in my last day. In other words, I did not enjoy my stay.

Property is close to food and shopping. Clean updated rooms. We would definitely stay there again. Only thing i didn't like was breakfast food selection was minimal. They could offer more food.

The breakfast was not kept stocked, we got there at 7 and there was hardly anything out. On the last day of our stay, I ran out of hot water within few minutes of my shower.

For the most part it was good. The bathroom & the floors in the room weren’t the cleanest. I clean house - the floors had spots that hadn’t been wiped up. The shower, you could see the scum & spots on the tiles. The tub & soap dishes were nasty too. The toilet kept running all the time. Room 316

Upon arrival is was storming outside ; there was no real parking available close by to check in but obviously cannot fault the property. The front desk associate was extremely pleasant , we arrived MUCH later than we anticipated, we were exhausted and she was just going the extra mile to make sure we were checked in quickly so we could relax . We received a text the pool was closed which was sad as it’s the main reason we booked the hotel for the indoor pool in winter . She advised us the text was wrong , and it was open . Now the room : they are under renovations … the latch on the door for safety at night ; as soon as we arrived to our room the door shut and that thing popped right off . There was an odd smell in the room ; we couldn’t determine if it was paint or urine or an odd mix . Sheets had literal foot prints on them ( luckily we bring our own ) we travel a lot and have become used to bringing our own towels , bedding and toilet paper . Our mini fridge didn’t work, but again we travel a bunch so we used our cooler. Breakfast was the normal; coffee, lemon water, some some juices. Bagels, biscuits, eggs, sausage, waffle maker ( we lined the changed the extra flavor daily , red velvet and cinnamon swirl I think) plus your regular buttermilk. Cereal the basics. The dining area was small but quiet and not crazy. Overall the staff was the best part of the hotel.

Clayton at the front desk did a great job checking us in. He was friendly and professional. The beds are super comfortable and it’s a nice sized room. There was construction out on the road in front of the hotel so it was a bit confusing to get in.

The hotel had no information on my room or from Expedia. It took a half an hour to get checked in with a call to Expedia, which did not work well.

Front desk was unable to find my reservation and showed no interest in simply honoring the reservation I had. I didn't stay at the property and booked a room at another hotel.

This hotel has been completely remodeled during my last several stays and the replacement of carpet with tile is awesome. Also, the indoor pool is now open! This hitel has recently been reflagged as comfort inns and it is my go to place in dothan

Just ok…
This was our first time staying here. The room was spacious and the beds were nice and comfortable. But as soon as you walked in the room reaped of mold. You could smell it bad. The floor all in front on the window was soft. Our room key wouldn’t work..we kept having to try over and over for it to work. They said the indoor pool was heated, but just the room it was in was..not the water. Overall it was ok. Everything appeared clean inside, it was just the smell of mold and the soft floor. We just stayed for one night.

The only disappointment was that it seemed to be okay with staff that the key to the fridge in the breakfast room was gone so no guests could access. They did try to make up for it, but still.

Unfortunate stay during renovation.
My wife and I are currently staying until Thursday at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Dothan, Alabama. We selected this hotel as we were going to have our grandkids stay with us to use the indoor pool. On checkin day we were assigned room 211. We unpacked our stuff and while exploring the room we came across a large soft spot in the floor next to the air handler damaged by what appears as water. Also front door lock intermittently did not work. We spoke with Clayton at the front desk that assign the room. He assigned us a new room, 213. Upon entering the room that was next door to 211, I noticed the air handler door unlocked and opened the door. This are was filled with what appeared to be black mold and extreme amount of dust. My wife has asthma so we wend down to speak to Clayton. He said when the AC door is open the rooms are supposed to be blocked. He then assigned room 207. We then did a quick check of the room and did not see anything glaring. We asked Clayton to have the filter checked in the morning. Couple things we found was the room had no microwave like the previous room. Also the room has no drawers to hold clothing. The bathroom has moldy ares that looked to be just painted over. We then decided to visit the pool as we were told that it was heated as the sign says heated as well. Come to find out the pool water is cold as it is outside. Very nice pool are just too cold to think about using. Pool heater advertised but not not operational.

My granddaughters surprise trip for Christmas.
We came from East Tennessee and met some of our family down in Dothan. We visited them as well as some came to visit us at our motel. Kids were able to swim. It was great. Staff was great…beds were very comfortable- front counter girls were great. We will be back.

Everything was pretty good for the most part. Not sure what the point of a 12pm checkout is if the housekeeping staff is going to knock on the door every hour starting at 9am even with the do not disturb on the door. But other than that it was a good stay.

Every one was so nice and accommodating. Room and beds were very comfortable. The only thing is the road in front is a mess but not their fault. I would definitely stay here again.

Computers were down at check in and even with a prepaid confirmation number they wouldn't let me check in. Kids running up and down the hall way all night!

I am so sorry to hear that our network issue caused your stay to be less than excellent. Unfortunately, these things happen from time to time, and we take immediate action to resolve them as soon as we are made aware. We have also implemented quiet hours at the hotel moving forward to rectify the noise issue related to the children running in the halls.
