You could've parked in the upper lot or lower lot but depending on where the room was, I am sure the front desk agent was making it more convenient for you to park where closer to where your room would be. We did have our plowing company come by every now and again but with it snowing off and on throughout the night, it is hard to keep up with it, especially since we are not their only clients either. We do have other staff members at the hotel during the day shift so the kiosk isn't left alone but the other staff members are in housekeeping and maintenance or it is usually myself at times as well but sometimes I do have to help in housekeeping or when the breakfast person has her day off, I have to run breakfast as well. If the front desk agent on the kiosk needs anything, she always lets us know. We have tried hiring for many, many months to get an actual person trained to work the desk but unfortunately, no body wants to work anymore so the front desk agent on the kiosk was our next best thing. We are a smoke free hotel but one of the guests in our hotel was not following the rules. We did get to the bottom of who it was and did tell the guest to stop but it is no excuse for our hallways to smell like smoke. I also apologize for the cleanliness of your room, I will bring it to my Housekeeping Manager's attention.
