Enjoyable Choice in Crown Plaza Hotel, Deira, Duba
I had stayed in this hotel for 11 days. It was pleasant to stay here and a good choice. 10 minutes drive to the airport and easy access to Deira shopping center-Reef mall, walking distance. And especially, I really like the service of my housemaid and safeguard in the pool. Also the exclusice breakfast was good. If you have a chance, it would be a good chance to enjoy their hospitality and kindness. Enjoy!

I thought the overall experience was OK. The hotel is beginning to look tired. I sent some clothing off for laundry and when it was eventually delivered, a member of staff asked me to pay for the service in cash. When I explained I didn't have any cash on me, he asked me to check in my wallet. I have been travelling for over 40 years on business and have never been asked to pay cash for this type of service. The worst part of this story is I had to get out the shower to answer the door.

Deira is awesome!
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others. However, I specifically booked this hotel for the sauna, which was closed for repairs. Staff were pleasant and accommodating.

This hotel is horrendous and does not deserve a 5-star rating. Our room was on the first floor (110), and apparently, we're quite close to the hotel's club, as we could hear loud music from 10 pm to 3 am every single night. I complained to the manager, and he offered my family to move to another room. However, because my grandma had already settled in and due to a disability, it would have been highly inconvenient for her to change rooms. Moreover, housekeeping there does a poor job, except for Shwe — she was a sweetheart and deserves to work at a much better place. I had to talk to the housekeeping manager on the third day to ensure the cleanliness of the room. The cherry on top is that our safe malfunctioned quite frankly every day since we moved in. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are definitely better options available in the city. Do not stay here. P.S. WiFi here is crap, too.

Excellent infrastructure, Below standard rooms
The moment you step into the hotel you love the infrastructure, modern look and service at the reception. The pleasure and expectations of having booked a five star hotel for your family is lost when you step into the room. The room and more specifically the small toilet and bath tub is well below the standard of even a 4 star hotel. The room and amenities are old. Breakfast was more like in a food court. Long delays at egg station, failed coffee machines, soft butter not served in ice and above all difficulty of finding a free table due to very high occupancy. Pool and Gym are OK.

I had a great time at the Crown Plaza Deira. The hotel is not far away from the airport. There are many restaurants and shopping places around. The metro station (green line) is less than 10 minutes walk (salaheddine station)

The AC was not working in our room. Complained with front desk and they reluctantly changed the room after several reminders. AC the as not good in the new room as well. We eventually checkout early.

Loved my stay at the Crowne Plaza, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to everyone as the location was great too, very close to the Metro… finding a taxi was challenging but the staff can help with that too.

Yes and No
Checking in was shambolic. Breakfast needs to be severely updated. It was neither here nor there. Coffee was good. Room was very nice and well maintained by the housekeeping staff on a daily basis.

Liked the breakfast area, swimming pool and the cleanliness. What i didn't like was not having entertainment channels on tv, only couple of english speaking news channels, rest were in arabic. Secondly the fridge was not cooling enough, the chocolates we put in were melting Hotel itself was brilliant but the location was not good, about 100 meters past the hotel there were working prostitutes harassing passers by.
