Dear Guest, We regret we could not meet your personal expectations. I have personally investigated with all our staff members on your interactions with the Hotel team. We respectfully disagree with your comments posted. You had made a non-refundable booking with Expedia and regret we could not refund any money back to you as you wanted to check-out early as you had other plans. We have checked all the parameters on the WiFi in your room and everything is normal. From our log sheets, you reported the WiFi issue only once and our Maintenance team assisted you with the settings on your personal cell iPhone after which there were no issues. We do have a fair share of American breakfast buffet with live egg cooking stations / hot continental main courses / waffles / baked beans along with Arabic and Asian cuisine to cater to all guests worldwide. Our chef would be very glad to prepare any item you may choose if informed in advance. Besides the iPhone setting on your personal phone and request for refund, no complaint was ever made with any of our Duty Managers / Front desk / / Housekeeping / Maintenance who are available 24 hours, round-the-clock to rectify any issues at hand. However, the hotel provides 2 types of flavoured drinking water which can be dispensed and consumed at the lobby. Detergents for washing your personal clothes is available for a nominal charge. There is also an option to book a One-Bedroom Apartment at Savoy Crest measuring 700 sq ft or a Two-Bedroom apartment measuring 1,100 sq ft. We wish you had reported the noise issue to our 24-hour Reception and we would have offered you an alternate room on the rear side of the building away from the main street.Savoy Central Hotel is located in the heart of Dubai which is 8-mins to the Metro. It is in close proximity to the historical districts of old Dubai. It is very unfortunate that we could not check you in early in the morning at 5 am when you arrive at Savoy Central as we were totally sold out from the night before. The hotel did offer you an alternate Hotel - Savoy Park. You had booked directly with a third-party online Agent Hotels.com with a dynamic rates of the day which the Hotel cannot offer any preferential rates. Had you booked directly with the hotel, there could have been a possible scope of offering best available rates. We have also inspected the AC thermostat in the room that was occupied and the temperature can be adjusted from 25 degrees Celsius to 19 degrees Celsius. We wish you had reported and informed our 24 hour Reception / Maintenance / Housekeeping and we would have immediately demonstrated to you how to lower the AC temperature.At the Savoy, we take every comment and genuine observation as a challenge to improve.
