A noisy machine turned on at 00.30 about five times for ten seconds in two minutes and then intermmitantly during the night.Shower useless could not get it to mix properly as there was no water pressure and just dribbled out.Heating was controlled by a thermostat which was somehow in contact with a little box on the radiator knob,it would not switch off,not even down.Sink was small with no plug, hot water was very hot,so had to stuff toilet paper in the plug holeto mix.Outside overall appearance was tired, skip in the driveway, garden furniture looked grotty, hanging flower baskets dried out.Breakfast was served on cold plates, the first day we had mushrooms, sorry i mean a mushroom sliced and quartered, rest was o.k.but getting colder by the minute,Found two packets of butter under a mound of margerine,No mushroom on the second day, no butter to be found on any table, had to ask for it and got a tub of the stuff that had the same brand name but didnt say butter anywhere on it,only white toast no brown. My wife asked for her fried egg to be turned over and no beans, because of the language barrier between the waitress and the cook(polish-russian in broken english)we both got the same.On the whole we had slept in better in the other three star establishments, which all had certificate on their wall, from the irish tourist board, and this was the smallest room of them all for the most price,
