The view is beautiful. The sea is just in front of you and the downtown of Dubrovnik is just on 15 minutes away.

I chose this property as it was away from the city & right at the bay very close to an almost private rocky beach very pleasant to swim in & spend time. It was easy to find, accessible to busses to city, grocery, restaurants & nearby towns. There’s a nice covered veranda on the side that has self serve kitchen where you can cook which we did for breakfast as it was a long walk to restaurant just for that. The rooms were very basic with old fashioned furniture. Sheets changed every 7 days but as we stayed 1 extra day they were never done. It wouldve been appreciated if the sheets were changed at least once between the 8 days. The room given to us had 2 single beds drawn together while it was ok the middle bit kept separating hence my hubby were like sleeping in separate beds. It needs addressing for improvement. The sofa bed my daughter slept in had very little support and mattress kept tipping to its side so we decided to fix it ourselves by putting the back cushions underneath to hold it up. Our TV never worked from the start. We mentioned this to the owners son who spoke English but nothing was done for the entire 8 days stay. The owners were nice but had didn’t speak English hence communication was with great difficulty. A lot of hand signal communication. All things apart we had a great time, lovely restaurants around and an easy bus trip to old town. The Villa is in a great location & while we were not fuzzy it would be nice for basic necessities to just work.

Beautiful location, in a port right next to the sea. A few restaurants and supermarket approx 15-20 min walk. Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. Location is a bus ride ( approx 20minutes) away from Dubrovnik. Actual accommodation was standard but location more than made up for it. Would recommend.

beautiful location, lovely family business
Villa was very clean, not plush but good standard and comfortable. Location was beautiful, what are described as beaches are not sandy so wet shoes are recommended however the bay is stunning and the water calm and safe for families, but the lack of sand can mean that its not so much fun for children. There are a few restaurants nearby, but not all would be accessible to families with pushchairs as there is a distinct lack of footpaths . The Villa has kitchen facilities and there is also a terrace with a barbeque which is available for guests to use. This is a family owned business and Mario and his family are great hosts, very accommodating and helpful. The bus stop is less than a 5 minute walk away with buses into Dubrovnik hourly, the buses are air conditioned and reliable. The old town can get very busy and was particularly hot as we were there in July, this is compounded when the cruise liners arrive and thousands descend on the City. I would certainly stay in Zaton Mali again and would definitely certainly stay at Villa Malfi again, Dubrovnik is beautifu and Villa malfi are great hosts.

The host family was so lovely, and it’s hard to give this place a poor rating as a result, but the facilities need some major attention. I’m not a hotel snob by any means, but this place was very run down. The “sofa bed” was broken, the bathroom smelled like something was very wrong with it. I can not recommend in good conscience.

The owners are very nice people. The small beach is just right next to the house. The bus stop is close to the place, as well. The owners provided me with bus schedule, the bus goes not often (about 1 time per hour or less), but it is possible to get to Dubrovnik without a car.

Preiswertes Hotel
Preiswertes Hotel mit guter Busanbindung an Dubrovnik. Wir sind zweimal mit dem Bus ohne Probleme nach Dubrovnik und zurückgefahren. Wir haben auch einen Tag am Hotel und dem nahe gelegenen Kieselstrand mit Schwimmen verbracht. Am Abend ein schöner Spaziergang zu einem von zwei Restaurants (ca. 15 min zu Fuß). Einkaufen auch ca. 15 Min zu Fuß. Die Besitzer der Pension waren freundlich und hilfreich, und je nachdem mit welcher Generation wir sprachen, konnten wir uns entweder auf Englisch oder Deutsch unterhalten. Wir waren auch im Arboretum Trsteno, und danach beim Schwimmen beim Caffe Bar Pizzeria Hawaii Orasa was uns sehr gefallen hat. Auch per Bus zu erreichen, obwohl es mit dem Auto einfacher ist. Hauptstrasse hinter dem Hotel etwas laut, aber zumindest in unserem Zimmer nicht zu hören.

Great value apartment
This is a lovely apartment, with fantastic views over the sea, which is a stones throw away. Small balcony allowed room to sit and eat while looking out at the view. The room, bathroom and small kitchen were extremely clean and functional, with fresh paintwork, though dated furnishings. If you are looking for somewhere functional and comfortable without being flashy, on a modest budget, then this is the place for you. Several nice restaurants within walking distance and swimming in the calm waters possible without getting in the car. There is some noise from the coastal road nearby but you don't notice this at night once doors are closed.

Hotel close to the beach
The hotel is close to the beach which is nice. The bed was comfortable. The place is A bit noisy because at the back there is the main road, however from the room we were in we couldn't hear the noise thanks to the double glazing windows. You can't pay the hotel by card, which we didn't know, only Euros or Kunas. We didn't have enough Euros so we paid in Kunas but the exchange rate they applied wasn't favorable. Apart from that we enjoy our stay.

Hôtel en bord de mer : qualite/ prix correct!
Petit hôtel familial en bord de mer très bien situé ( proche de Duvrovnik mais en même temps pas trop pour être tranquille). Appartement très propre avec une decoration simple, mais avec tout le nécessaire ( ustensile cuisine, clim....). Seul problème : l eau chaude ! Les panneaux solaires ne suffisent pas ( à revoir je pense) Accueil un peu froid le premier jour, mais je pense que c est dû à la barrière de la langue ( anglais pas très bien maîtrisé). Mieux à la fin du séjour !

c est un appartement non un hotel (pas tres clair sur le site): pas de petit dej donc. A 6 km du centre de Dubrovnik Bus a 3 min a pied: Face a ue tres jolie baie.

Söker man lugn och ro så är detta perfekt! Precis vid havet, egen plats att sola och bada på. Vi hade fantastiska tio dagar på Villa Malfi. Söker man party ska man söka sig nån annanstans.

Dette er hotellet for deg som er reisevant. Med både vanlige hotellrom og leiligheter, er mulighetene der. Rommet hadde kjøleskap og vannkoker, og gode senget. Det er også et felles kjøkken med en stor veranda som er tilgjengelig for alle. Det er en privat brygge med trapp rett utenfor, hvor det er fantastisk å bade og sole seg. Anbefales!

Nice view,noisy place, not quite value of money
The view to the bay and surroundings is beautiful. But the apartment is 5 meters from the main road to/from Dubrovnik, so it's noisy also at night. The owner is an old lady who don't speak a word of English, so it was no use explaining her that wifi does not work at all in the room. We also got wrong room -- only a small room with beds -- in the beginning, though we had paid for two bedrooms with kitchen. The owner understood that we don't accept the room and phoned somewhere and then we got the right apartment. Apartment was clean but bath towels very ridiculously small. . We would not come again because of the noise and no wifi in the room and no English spoken -- it was not quite value of money.

When we arrived, we didn't have any Bosnian local money. The host had borrowed us 200 Bosnian marks, so that we could take the bus to the city centre for currency exchange. Great hospitality. Great trust! Thank you, host!

Dubrovnik visit
Very friendly and attentive management. Clean tidy room with beautiful view across the bay. Really nice communal terrace to the side. Perfect location if you have a car or if you want to stay outside Dubrovnik. Bus connections close and regular. Great alternative to horrendous parking charges in Dub

- tarif compétitif, service sympathique (la propriétaire nous a accueillis à minuit en raidon du retard de notre avion), places de parking facilement accessible. - 15minutes de voiture de dubrovnik, également desservi par des bus, 5 min de la plage de galets du radisson blue. Hotel un peu désuet et vieillot, mais très correct pour le prix, sachant qu'une journée de parking à Dubrovnic revient à 40 euros... Le nécessaire est là, avec une douche, une bouilloire et un petit balcon avec vue sur la baie. Une petite plage de galets est accessible à 100m de l'hotel, prévoir des chaussures aquatiques, les pierres étant un peu tranchantes. A 5 min de voiture, la plage du radisson est plus agréable, accessible au public et offre différentes possibilités de restauration.

Hotellin sijanti on kaukana kaikesta ja palvelumalli hyvin epäselkeä. Paikan päällä ei ole ketään, keneltä kysyä, sillä työntekijät eivät osaa englantia. Uusien pyyhkeiden saaminen aiheutti tuskaa. Huoneessa odottaa ohjevihko, joka on päivitetty viimeisen kerran monia vuosia sitten. Ainoa plussa on merinäkymä.

Room was clean, but everything is very old. Bath towels not much larger than hand towels. Bed was comfortable, that is the only positive comment I can make. Weird smell. But we did not pay much for this.

Cerca de la playa y tranquilo.
El hotel está situado en un lugar muy tranquilo y tiene muy buenas vistas, está situado a 10 minutos en autobús de Dubrovnic. Uno de los días el personal del hotel nos propuso hacer una ruta por las islas, una ruta muy bonita. Nos llevamos un buen recuerdo.

Beautiful apartments overlooking the water
Everyone there was extremely friendly, the apartment was spacious with more than enough room, it was very clean, every room has a balcony overlooking the gorgeous water, you can swim right in front of the building, there's a bus stop right outside that takes you to Dubrovnik, close to 2 amazing restaurants (tavern arka was my favourite), and in a quiet and relaxing bay. 10/10.

Wir waren sehr positiv von dem Blick und der Lage der Unterkunft überrascht , das wir bald wiederkommen werden . Die Nähe zu Dubrovnik ist bestens geeignet für einen Ausflug in die Stadt.

Basic but nice hotel in quiet hamlet.
Basic but very good value. All rooms have view right over Zaton bay which is beautiful. Hot showers, free and strong signal wifi, satellite tv, balcony for sitting out on , in addition to covered communal outside area with small bar. We were greeted near midnight by the lady who had stayed up for our delayed flight, with a bowl of watermelon. Fridge and kettle in room but no cups - we only overnighter there, sadly, I'm sure they would have provided these if we'd asked. Breakfast was next door at the welcoming Villa Kukuljica, Kn110/2 people, very good. A couple of areas of the bay are lightly bounded for swimming, forming natural swimming pools - just perfect! Enough shade and enough sun for all . Gorgeous clear water. Very chilled area, the only thing is the noise of the main highway behind the hamlet. But would not put me off staying there again. Access to Dubrovnik (main bus station) is very easy, there's a bus stop at the entrance to the hamlet and buses go at least once/hour (kn15 one way).

Preiswert Gut
Liegt direkt am Meer. Hauptstrasse nach Dubrovnik direkt dahinter. Empfand ich jedoch nicht störend. Kleiner Kieselstrand 100 m entfernt. Man kann aber auch aus dem Appartment, über die kleine Anfahrtsstrasse, direkt ins Meer springen. Kleiner Sitzplatz und 3,4 Liegen vorhanden. 10-15 min mit dem Auto bis Dubrovnik. Bei unserem Zimmer, das wir hatten sollte nur mal im Badezimmer etwas renoviert werden. ( Dusche ) Sonst sauber und in Ordnung.

Accommodation was everything we hoped for from the details provided via Expedia and my wife & myself had a wonderful, peaceful holiday there. There are some very small beaches within walking distance but would definitely recommend hiring a car as there are some absolutely beautiful pebble beaches within easy travelling distance. Found the food & local wine to be lovely and the cost was reasonable, similar prices to UK. This was our first time to Croatia and we will definitely be going back.
