Clean room, No Elevators, Good breakfast
I stayed in a single room. It was clean and comfortable. The view of outside(like a garden) was not exactly same as the photo, but the room was not bad so it's fine. There's free wifi ID on each room. And the hotel gave me a transportation(bus, U-bahn, tram) free-pass cards that can be use in Dusseldorf. The most inconvenience point is that it has no elevators. The excellent point is the breakfast. Coffee was good, and the buffet has plenty of breads, juices, yogurts, mueslis, half-boiled eggs and etc. It was a pleasant stay.

This is a small and in my opinion cozy hotel. The location is excellent. I stayed four nights and slept very well. The bathroom was spacious and had a bathtub! My room was on the top floor, but there is no elevator. When I arrived at the hotel, there was a nice guy at the reception who told me the most important things. He was really friendly and helpful. He even offered me a ticket for public transport, but I had already bought the ticket.

Clean but cold rooms
Room was clean but very cold, also you can hear everything in the room next to you, even with the heating left on all day the tiny radiator did not heat the room at all so trying to sleep in the evening with a cold room was a struggle. No elevator in the building Cool thing about staying here they give you a free travel card for the length of your stay to use on all the bus/teams/trains in the area.

Kein Frühstück wie gebucht, Rezeption nicht permanent besetzt, Hotel veraltet und Zimmer nicht gut gereinigt, Möbel auf dem Balkon defekt, beim Check-out kein Mitarbeiter vor Ort-man wusste nicht wohin mit der Zimmerkarte. Einzig die Lage ist gut, das Hotel ist nicht wirklich zu empfehlen, wenn man Wert auf Service und Sauberkeit legt. Für den Preis haben wir schon bessere Hotels mit Frühstück in Düsseldorf gebucht.

Einfaches Hotel in sehr guter Lage, denn...
... der Rhein ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. In 10 weiteren Minuten ist man in der Altstadt. In der anderen Richtung geht es innerhalb von 5 Fußminuten nach Pempelfort. Dies macht das Hotel attraktiv. Das Zimmer war neu renoviert, der Eingangsbereich ist alt und schreckt etwas ab. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Aber nur auf Geschäftsreise.

Literally got this place because it was said to have a pool. There was no pool- was sent down the street to a closed down pool.. was charged something like 150 Euros instead of USD ... paying almost 200 for one night in this dirty hotel. I’ve called and emailed to get money situation fixed and have not heard back from either one. Poor location as well— you can get wayyyyyy cheaper places basically anywhere in Düsseldorf - ended up checking out next day and going to a hotel in little Tokyo with a whole spa for a third of the price. Only good thing was the kind staff

Ruhiges Hotel in zentraler Lage
Angenehmer Aufenthalt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, da in einer kleinen Seitenstrasse gelegen, ist vom Verkehrslärm nicht viel zu merken. Strassenbahn- und U-Bahn-Haltestelle sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, ein Ticket für den ÖV erhält man für die Dauer des Aufenthalts gratis.

Insgesamt zufriedenstellend
Leider hat die Hitze der letzten Tage den Aufenthalt geschmälert. Das Zimmer war sehr warm und auch nachts wenig Abkühlung da das Hotel keine Klimaanlage hat. Ein Ventilator auf dem Zimmer hätte da sicher etwas Abhilfe geschaffen.

Gemütliches Erlebnis, einfach Zugang zur Altstadt
Wir haben das Zimmer, und vor allem das moderne Bad sehr genossen. Der Weg zum Rheinufer und zur Altstadt war bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Treppen sind mit großen Koffern nicht ganz so einfach und kostenloses Parken ist ein Glücksspiel. Wir haben uns aber - auch dank dem freundlichen Personal/Besitzer - sehr wohl gefühlt :-)

No value for your money, outdated hotel rooms
In my many years of travelling in all kind of hotels from 2* up to 4* and knowing pictures are not always a reflection of what you get this is number 1 on my list of negative hotels. No elevator, dirty carpet .... A modern flatscreen is the biggest investment in the last years I guess. One positive point, the breakfast was good, a relief and what you need after a horrible night. My picture is the reflection of what was promised versus what I got :-(

L'h^tel est situé dans le quartier des musées et de la Tonhalle, parking relativement aiséi soit parking couvert ou même en rue , quartier tranquille. accueil chaleureux, ticket transport en commun offert ainsi qu'un plan. Déjeuner bien fourni à un tarif très intéressant. Si vous assistez à un concert signalez -le il existe un partenariat qui vous offre de petits avantages.

Great service, but.
The front staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite tired, there are no elevators, so it is a good haul of your luggage up 4 flights of stairs. The breakfast is pretty decent too. The location is good, close to the park and the Rhein, with one underground stop to the Altstadt. It is OK, but I would likely seek out something else next time.

Great stay and close to the sights!
Great location and price. Front desk staff was very helpful in giving us tips to get around. Walking distance to old town and parks. Front desk spoke english and allowed early check in.

Mindre hotell med gångavstånd till Altstadt.
Ett mindre trestjärnigt hotell på bekvämt gångavstånd till Altstadt. Ca 10-15 minuters promenad genom parken för att komma till Lilla Rävens bryggeri. Hotellet är rent och snyggt men är något äldre. Dygnet-runt service i receptionen. Kontinental frukost. Fri wi-fi. Enda minuset var att extrasängen var obekväm.

Good location but overpriced.
The hotel was a small one with 4 stories and no lift, but the "bell boy" happily carried my suitcase up to my room. There was no A/C in the room and a fairly warm day so I had to leave the window open at night for air and there was a fair amount of city noise all night long. Hard to sleep. I had to leave early for a flight so no breakfast available and no coffee machine in the room. The hotel staff was very friendly, but the room was very bare bones. One pillow, and everything else was very small and compact in every way. Also, hotel prices were very expensive in downtown so I paid the US equivalent of $350 for a single for one night. I think this room was only worth $200 tops. On the plus side, the staff referred me to a nice Italian restaurant close by and it was exceptional.

Great location in Duesseldorf
Great location in Duesseldorf. Downtown area best known for shopping, restaurant, bars and sightseeing at the Rhine promenade is just a 10-15minutes walk away. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a room large enough for a baby bed. Hotel is not new or super modern but very clean. Elevator would have been nice.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Im Hotel selbst war es ruhig, jedoch drang Lärm von den vielbefahrenen umliegenden Straßen ins Zimmer. Bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen war es sehr warm im unklimatisierten Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nichts besonderes im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels in der Preisklasse. Insgesamt kann man das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Highly recommend this hotel
loved this hotel. You can walk to the downtown area or take the underground. Quiet neighborhood. Delicious breakfast. Knowledgable concierge who spoke good English.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen und doch ruhig. Man fühlt sich sehr gut aufgehoben -familiär-! Frühstück war sehr gut!!! Bedienung und Hauskeeping sehr freundlich! Informationen der Hotelleitung zur Stadt Düsseldorf und zu Veranstaltungen waren hervorragend!!!

Fijn hotel in hele leuke buurt, 1 metrohalte vanaf het toeristisch centrum. Onze kamer was ruim.
