One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Everyone was so eager to make sure your stay was enjoyable. Nice large indoor pool very clean and heated. The whole property was so clean.

Property is very clean and the daily housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was nice and had with a good selection of food choices.

Great place to stay on the island. Convenient to all the island has to offer, great indoor pool and the staff are amazing. The breakfast has a very good selection and views from the back deck are beautiful.

The only thing I didn’t like was it was stuffy and no windows to open. I loved that it was quite it felt secluded.

The property was meticulously maintained! The room and bathroom were spotless, the towels and sheets smelled fresh and were soft! The staff was exceptionally friendly! The breakfast was delicious and the dining area was well appointed! The grounds were beautiful with lots of options to enjoy the area!

EVERYONE WORKING AT THIS HOTEL WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY. I HAD SOME ISSUES WITH HOTELS.COM DUE TO THE THREAT OF A TROPICAL STORM, DECIDED TO GO ANYWAY, AND AM I GLAD I DID. WONDERFUL FACILITY. GOING BACK FOR SURE.

Good but not great
Room was reasonably clean and comfortable. Decor seriously needs some updating though (it was like walking back into the late 1990s). Staff were very friendly and helpful, parking is great, and the location is reasonably convenient. It's an easy drive from here to see the Chincoteague ponies as well. If you want to see the water, make sure you book something with "waterfront" noted. We booked a "balcony" room and got just a view of the buildings nearby and the parking lot. Meh.

Beautiful view of the water and marshland. Sitting on the balcony was so relaxing. Room was clean, breakfast was good and the location is close to shops you can walk to. As wonderful as all that was the staff were all amazing. They were friendly and kind and focused on customer service and satisfaction. Highly recommend!

The ladies at the front desk were awesome and were able to check us in a little earlier (a courtesy that I was grateful for). They were helpful and gave us great suggestions for the area- A service! What was weird is that our bathroom had a vent yet there was no switch to turn it on making multiple showers gruesome.

This is our 3rd visit for this hotel. This place sets the standard for hospitality. Every hotel manager and hotel chain CEO on the East Coast should come to this hotel to get a clinic on how to give outstanding service and maintaining a beautiful property. The rates are definitely not cheap, but, you get what you pay for. The waterfront rooms with the sleeper sofa is a good size for a family of 4. Parking is free. Even homemade cookies in the late afternoon. Plenty of seating on the back deck to watch the beautiful sunsets. Rooms are always spotless and. There are plenty of hotels with higher price tags that are nowhere near as good. We will be back.
