Lovely place but parking an issue.
Very well presented rooms in a great location. Quiet at night too, which is a bonus. Couple of issues for us, I had booked the superior room with two singles and a double, but room was actually a double with a very small single bed in an ante-room. Although the description says free on-street parking, this isn't accurate and we were advised that parking at John Lewis might be a good option, despite that being a 25 minute walk away. Did find free parking close by, but it is only free after 5.30 and before 8.30, so had to wait to go back to the guesthouse and leave early to avoid getting a ticket.

It was super clean and large. The host was very friendly. Bus stop was nearby. You could walk to the city centre in 10 minutes.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodation with great attention to detail. Good position, within walking distance of many attractions. Excellent bus service.

5 Star Guest House
Highly recommended when visiting Edinburgh. Walking distance into the City Centre and free parking on the road near the guest house. The bedroom / bathroom was modern ,clean and comfortable. Information supplied collecting the keys and getting to our bedroom without meeting the host. Available in the bedroom are tea making facility along with a small fridge with treats in also a small decanter of whisky . The area is very quiet. Would definite stay again. Thank you x

Edinburgh family visit
A lovely family room. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous shower room with fluffy white towels, lovely toiletries and the complimentary Whisky, Tunnocks and oat bars were thoughtful and well received. This guest house is ideally positioned to explore Edinburgh and we loved it!

If its available, book it!
Fantastic stay - great hosts, lovely room and fittings and the wee dram of whiskey wsa appreciated! Only negative, if in the top floor room, the wifi connection didnt work and mobile reception was poor. But other than that, highly recommend in terms of facilites and location.

Confortável com localização excelente
Localização excelente (com ponto de onibus em frente para ir e voltar de old city), limpeza, staff atencioso, quarto espaçoso e bastante confortável. Como pontos de melhoria posso citar o box que é um pouco apertado e falta um frigobar. Falta acessibilidade para pessoas que tenham alguma dificuldade de locomoção pois o acesso aos quartos é por escada, o que para mim nao foi um problema, mas pode ser uma limitação para alguém. Infelizmente passei por uma situação desconfortável, meu namorado colocou um casaco em cima de um móvel, porém durante a arrumação do quarto acredito que o mesmo foi guardado dentro do armário. Quando fomos embora, nao revistamos o armário, pois nao havíamos colocado nada lá. Resultado, só percebemos a falta dele quando chegamos no nosso próximo destino, enviei um email solicitando o envio para onde estávamos, o que nao ocorreu, depois ficaram de enviar para o Brasil, e até agora nada. Já enviei email novamente questionando, pedindo o código de rastreio, mas nao tive resposta. Vai completar 1 mês que estou no aguardo.

Clean and recently renovated room in an old but perfectly maintained and lovely house, fine location, easy to get there by foot from Edinburgh Waverley railway station. The bus to Newhaven (no. 11) stops right in front of the property too. Had a very good time in Edinburgh, thanks!

perfekte Lage, nicht weiter vom Stadtzentrum, Busstation vor der Haustür. Unser Host hat uns mit guten Infos versorgt, das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Einzige kleine Einschränkung war, dass wir nur die Übernachtungen buchen konnten, ohne Frühstück. Das es in der Umgebung aber genug Gelegenheit dafür gab, kein wirkliches Problem :-) Wir können das Antler's bestens weiter empfehlen und würden es auch wieder buchen

Cozy room in a cute guest house close to transit. Old town is 5 mins bus ride away. The front doors close heavily but otherwise no noise issue.

Davvero una bella guest House, accogliente e ben posizionata tutto sommato. La camera era pulitissima, curata e accogliente, lo stesso per il bagno. Nulla da dire di negativo, siamo stati solo un giorno ed una notte ma ne è valsa la pena e sono sicuro che tornerei lì se dovessi visitare nuovamente Edimburgo.

Hidden Gem
Great wee place within walking distance to Princes Street. Also bus stop directly outside for those preferring not to walk. Beautifully decorated and really spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast which set us up for the day.

Wonderful ladies at a wonderful guest house
Our stay here was absolutely one of the best in all my travels, if not the best. Clean, comfortable, bright room, a wonderful hostess who made sure we went on our way well fed...a real treat!

Beautiful, friendly and unique guest house.
It was our 1st visit to Edinburgh and the hotel was absolutely amazing. It made our stay even more perfect. The decor is to a very high standard with lovely touches. Food was wonderful and the owner (Margaret) was so helpful, kind and very warm. Will be revisiting again!!!

Sehr liebenswerte ältere Dame, Hotel sauber, Zimmer schön, essen gut und man kann zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus, welche quasi vor der Tür hält (dennoch angenehm ruhig) in die Stadt. Edinburgh ist absolut sehenswert.

Excellent guest house.
A fantastic guest house: beautifully styled and decorated with a mixture of modern and traditional tastefully put together. Everything was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided. The breakfast was wonderful too. Margaret was friendly, welcoming and offered lots of helpful information, ranging from where to eat locally in the evening [we went twice to 'La Favorita' - a local Italian restaurant], to how best to get into the city center. I rarely write reviews, but this one is definitely worth the effort; we would have no hesitation in recommending it.

4 Days in Edinburg
We stayed there in July and had a wonderful time. The rooms were well appointed and in an older house that was recently rehabbed. Margret was a wonderful host and served the traditional English Breakfast with some additions- yogurt, fruit, pastries. The B&B was near the bus line and close to town. There was parking on the street, We would definitely stay there again. And, we would definitely visit Edinburgh again,

Comfortable accommodations with at home atmosphere
Clean comfortable accommodations a little over a mile from the main city attractions. Street parking is available on the very busy street in front of the B&B. The proprietor is extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful and breakfasts are adequate to fortify you for your busy day ahead. We will definitely stay again.

Superb old guest house with huge rooms....
Margaret was the most accommodating hostess and her home was stunningly beautiful and clean. Newly decorated bedrooms and on suite but just everything was perfect even allowing us to leave our bags as we arrived and left outside of normal operating times. If you want to visit Edinburgh go here.

2 nights B&B. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Some more pictures on the walls might make the light colour plain paint walls less stark.

we stayed for two nights. shirley was away and her brother was looking after the place. the decor of the house is lovely. the room was very small and the bed was uncomfortable. breakfast was okay. location was great for the royal mile.

Excellent B&B
The Antler Guest House is an excellent place to spend a night in Edinburgh. The room was beautiful and most importantly, very clean. The service was great as well. Location is good; close to shops, restaurants and public transportation. Finding street parking close by wasn't an issue either. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

很棒的家庭宾馆！
在网上研究了一下，目前情况看是满分，而且看图片装修很新，离市中心很近。到了宾馆，老太太很热情迎接了我们，而且很耐心地讲解了注意事项，也给我们的旅行提出了宝贵意见，非常心细的老人家。她家还有2个可爱的小女孩，养了2只狗，很有家庭的温馨感。房间设施也很棒，会给你一个好的体验，如果有机会再去爱丁堡，我一定会选择它！
