For future stays, Haymarket Train station is around 5 minutes walk away from Citylivein. This might be easier for your next journey. A walk from Waverley station does take a little longer. I am sorry to hear that your room was hot, we have fans at reception and sheets instead of duvets. I do hope that you were able to speak to reception about this. The location of the hotel is 15 minutes walk from Princes Street for the shops or from Edinburgh Castle. There is a bus stop at the end of the street with regular busses to Princes Street or to the Old Town. There is also the Tram stop 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. I do hope that this information will help for future visits to Edinburgh. I am delighted that the wifi was really good for your visit. Thanks for choosing Citylivein. Thanks for your review! Sorry to hear you were not 100% happy with your stay. We encourage our guests to let the reception team know of any issues they may have with their rooms so we can fix it as soon as possible. The wifi is done by an external company so we have no control over it. As CityLivein is only open for the Summer months of July and August, the building is owned by a student accommodation company so we use the same facilities as them when we take over. Sorry to hear that you were not happy with your bed. We do have 2 sizes of beds available, it just depends on what room you booked. We are happy to move our guests if they are unhappy with their room, please let us know if this happens again. Hope to see you in the future!

Thanks for a great review! Can't say that Scotland is very prepared for the hot Summer weather we're currently having! We do however have a limited supply of fans that our guests are free to use. We are currently in the process of refurbishment at a select amount of rooms at a time, so this is a project for a few years. We hope to see you again in the future!
