Shared bathroom facilities are cleaned twice a day and it’s unfortunate if another guest has left the shared facility untidy, this however doesn’t mean the bathroom is unclean due to a hair in the shower tray. We are very fortunate that the majority of our guests leave the shared facilities as they find them.

We take all your feedback on board Our self serviced accommodation has been greatly welcomed in Edinburgh by guests from all over the world, bringing a new modern, hassle free approach to a Central city stay. We do however completely understand Self serviced accommodation doesn’t suit everyone’s needs as some people like the interaction of having a reception area, therefore a hotel is better suited, it is made aware prior to booking that there is no reception or host. Good afternoon I’m sorry you where tired when arriving and wanting early check in, this is a service we always try to accommodate if we can for guests but as our check in time is 3:00pm so we can ensure all the rooms are ready and our cleaning team/maintenance team have finished prior to arrival of new guests, we cannot always accommodate early check in. fortunately we did manage on this occasion to arrange for you free of charge early check in prior to 3:00pm. Our number is the same it has always been on hotels.com and you are the first person that has ever had an issue with contacting us. We do understand that after travel guests can be tired and not in the best of form, our team certainly felt this vibe from you upon your arrival and we tried to accommodated you as best as we could even When your manner wasn’t the friendliest towards our team. It’s does state clearly our check in policy. We are “serviced rooms” not a hotel we understand this doesn’t suit everyone that’s why guests who prefer a hotel experience book into a hotel. We are sorry you felt you had been mislead by hotel.com unfortunately we don’t not deal directly with hotels.com they may have had old reviews that have lead you to be confused. we are 3 star clean,comfortable affordable serviced rooms that are centrally located. Thank you for you feedback Anna we are looking into new software that will send out codes sooner to guests. For security we cannot give out the codes any earlier than one hour prior to check in at 3:00pm due to guests entering accommodation and leaving luggage unattended in common areas, which brakes fire and security regulations. we appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again in the future.
