Supergelegen maar erg veel achterstallig onderhoud
Ondanks de top reviews heb ik daar toch een mindere ervaring . De handdoeken werden niet verschoond gedurende ons verblijf van vier dagen . De wc stond los op de grond en de dochecel was 1 x1 . Het ontbijt was oke en je moest zelf aangeven wat je wilde . Maar zeker toe aan vernieuwing van de kamers . Badkamer krijgt een dikke 1 en dat is nog veel . Nee in verre niet de hoge recensie zoals op de sute staat . Ook zoals ol foto bed dichtslaan zo der handdoek weg te halen . Erg jammer

Edinburgh weekend.
Jasmin was an excellent host and breakfast was lovely. The room is a little tired and could do with updating, although it is still very comfortable and not an issue. The property is well situated with a ten minute walk into the city and only a couple of minutes from the tram.

We had a lovely stay at Hanover house hotel. Small friendly hotel. Nothing was too much bother for Jasmin. Beautiful breakfast five star poached eggs! We will definitely be back. Thank you 🙏

It was a real “house hotel”. Small with 5 rooms, good breakfast and a friendly hostess.

Comfortable and great location
We had a very comfortable stay. Jasmine was really friendly and welcoming and gave us clear instructions on how & where to park. Breakfast had a good selection with fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt and cooked breakfast on offer with juices and tea/coffee. Nice touch to have some biscuits left in our room and hand soap and shower gel. The accommodation is a little dated in the decor but clean and comfy. Great location for central Edinburgh with restaurants and cafes just around the corner. Tram and buses very close by too. All in all, good value for money.

Great Stay
We had a lovely 3 night stay during the fringe festival. The room was comfortable. Jasmine was a wonderful host. The breakfast was tasty and set us up well for the day! Also, Macdonald Road tram stop is a few minutes walk away - so handy! :)

Jasmin, the lady who ran this place was very friendly and helpful. When i booked, I didn't realize breakfast was included. That was a bonus. Only thing that could be improved is wifi signal.

Mysigt hotell med fantastiskt bemötande
Litet mysigt hotell nära till det mesta. Allt var i gott skick, förutom lite svårspelad toalett. Lagom frukost med personlig service. Fantastiskt bemötande av värdinnan. -Tack för att du introducerade mig till haggis!

Vielleicht nicht für jeden - für uns perfekt!
Sehr freundliche Eigentümerin kümmert sich um alle Belange des Wohnens. Überaus freundlich, sehr heimelig. Es fühlt sich eher wie eine Kurzzeit-Gastfamilie als wie ein Hotel an. Wer Anonymität sucht ist hier falsch - allein schon die "dünnen" Wände machen gegenseitige Rücksichtnahme nötig - dafür ist alles nahbar, direkt und sehr gastfreundlich. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder einchecken!

The property is a typical bed and breakfast. The room was small, but it had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and the coffee divine. The owner was accommodating. It was an easy walk to Old Town and the Royal Mile. I would recommend The Hanover House Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel at a reasonable price.

Jasmine is a good host. The rooms are nice and clean. The wifi is good. You feel that you are in a home rather than in a hotel. Since the building is old you can sometimes hear people outside and the neighbours. There is no lift. The rooms are one floor up. If you do not mind this then you will have a good time. I had a very nice stay.

Friendly Host
Hanover House Hotel is in a great location, a little bit off the beaten path but easy access to shopping, theater, and dining in a quiet setting. The breakfast was delicious, home cooked, with numerous choices.

Pretty good little B&B.
Nice little B&B. Internet service was spotty at best. Location was very good, convenient to Waverly, restaurants, and laundrette.

The breakfast is excellent which is delicious. If you want to try the traditional English breakfast, it is recommended. The only thing reminded is that the Wi-Fi is not strong, but I guess you won’t stay at hotel room to surf the Internet without going out to enjoy the beautiful scene of the city!

Absolutely loved it.youre made more than welcome,breakfast is incredible and cooked to order including haggis if you wish. Da es nicht unsere erste Reise nach Edinburgh war, kann ich es nur empfehlen. Es war sauber, die Betreiber waren Hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Windsor Street ist eine ruhige Straße. Sie liegt zwischen der London Rd und Montgomery St wo es in der Nacht ruhig gelegen ist. Wunderbare Gastgeber, jederzeit gerne wieder.

Fantastic stay

Rigtig fint ophold til prisen
Ejeren var meget sød og imødekommende, også selvom vi ankom og checkede ud på “skæve” tidspunkter. Rigtig god oplevelse. Huset var meget fint og charmerende, og værelset var rent. Sengene var ikke så komfortable og værelset var svært at varme op, især om natten var der koldt. Rigtig fint badeværelse af en overraskende god størrelse. God beliggenhed, ca 15 minutters gang fra Princes Street.
