This hotel is the best kept secret in the Arenal area... we loved our stay. It's definitely more quiet and nature-heavy... but that's what is special about the area. Loved the pool and the breakfast was good.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Its got amazing views on Arenal Volcano and it was magical watching the sunrise from the balcony every morning. It's quite a basic hotel but everything was clean and the restaurant had a lot of options for dinner. The pool was lovely and it was so great watching the sunset from the pool. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone staying in the Arenal area.

It was just beautiful! We had wonderful meals at the restaurant and the view was like witnessing a slice of paradise.

This place is a hidden gem. It is extremely close to all of the volcano trails and hot springs. The property is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant has an excellent selection of food and drinks. Staff was also awesome. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Hotel is in a remote area close to the volcano overlooking the lake so quite beautiful. There isn’t much around but it is close to volcano and lake activities. The restaurant was amazing although service was lacking. Rooms were basic but clean and have a great view. It poured rain for the three days we were there; the only issue with this was the metal roof made so much noise with the rain at night. The pool area is quite small but beautiful and also has a hot tub. The staff were pretty much non existent but friendly when sought out. Room cleaning didn’t exist during our stay. All that said, the area is beautiful and I recommend if you’re looking for something quiet and remote. Plan for early evenings though as it gets dark by 6 and the road to access it quite narrow and windy. We made sure we were back before dark each night given the torrential rain and remoteness.

Incredibly beautiful property with unmatched views of Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano. About 25 minutes outside the chaos of La Fortuna. If you want a quiet stay, but close enough to all the activities in La Fortuna, then this place is unmatched. If there was any complaint, it’d be a dog barking nearby and the bugs, but heck, you’re in rural Costa Rica, which is expected.

Hotel Linda Vista was our favorite place that we stayed during our vacation. Our balcony view of the volcano as well as the lush gardens of the property was stunning. We sat on the balcony every morning with our coffee (provided in the room) and watched all of the tropical birds that flew by. We saw toucans, parakeets, quetzals, humming birds, and flycatchers every single morning. The view from the infinity pool was incredible. It truly felt like paradise.

Every part of our stay was so lovely. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant had great food choices. We didn't want to leave!

Bed Bugs and dated. We loved the view of the volcano and the pool and the restaurant. The facilities themselves are out of the 80's mostly. But being bitten by bedbugs overnight on our legs was too much. We loved eating at the restaurant as well. the whole place needs a good cleaning and update, and closed while they deal with the bed bug pest. We would stay again just for the view and restaurant if they didn't have bed bugs but would not stay again based on the bites

The place is terrific with breathtaking views of volcano Arenal, lake Arenal, plush flora... The food in Loma Linda restaurant was tasty and nicely presented. The view from the restaurant was astounding.

The view was spectacular. The restaurant had fantastic food. The chef’s presentation was artistic. The pool and the common area terrace have beautiful views. The only suggestion will be to add screens to the windows. This hotel has the best view of Arenal. It’s at the other side of the touristic area.

Pasamos un tiempo muy agradable en este hotel. La vista al Lago Arenal y al Volcán, desde la habitación, son maravillosas. Las áreas alrededor de las habitaciones están espectacularmente hermosas, la vegetación, los pájaros que anidan los árboles, la piscina y el jacuzzi muy ricos y con una vista muy bonita. Deberían incluir servicio de coctelería en la piscina. El personal es muy atento y servicial, aunque deberían incluir más aseo personal. En 25-30 minutos llegas a La Fortuna, 15 min al Parque Nacional Volcán Arenal… Volvería nuevamente!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Linda Vista and would definitely recommend!! The views are AMAZING!! From our room we had a breathtaking view of the Volcano and the lake!! The infinity pool is definitely something you must enjoy while you’re here. The front desk staff was super helpful, restaurant had amazing food and spectacular views!!! The property is very well maintained. Clean rooms and beautiful landscaping!!! Highly recommend this gem! 💎

Hotel Linda Vista is amazing!!! The view of Arenal Volcano is spectacular!!! Absolutely beeathtaking!! The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Views… did I mention the views! Make sure you plan time in the infinity pool and have a dinner or lunch at the restaurant. Food is fantastic!!! The hotel is located a fair distance away from attractions so ensure you have a car or transport arranged. Highly recommend Hotel Linda Vista!! It’s a gem!!!

Linda Vista is located in a very scenic area overlooking Mt. Arenal and Lake Arenal. But that's not the only good thing about staying here. First of all the staff is great and wanting to help you in any way they can. Secondly, the restaurant food is very good. Thirdly, the pool and hot tub is awesome, as it looks over Lake Arenal. Also, the rooms are clean and most have nice overlooks. The plumbing in the bathroom is also good with hot water. I guess the only thing I didn't like was the price of the taxis. I went to Mystical Hanging Bridges Park and it cost me $70 for Round Trip. It's because all the Taxis come from La Frontera. Renting a car makes sense but not in the city of La Frontuna. $100 a day just for a basic car. Go rent it at one of the airports for half the price. Staying at Hotel Linda Vista with a rent a car prevents you from the taxi expenses and gives you much more freedom of how you want to spend your time! Again, an excellent place to stay for the money. I would go back there again.

The view of my room was magnificent! The hotel is on the observational point of Arenal lake and volcano. I wished to be able to come back to my room and stay at least for a week or more. I loved this hotel. Staff was super nice and friendly.
