I liked that i could pick my own room and had a pass key on phone to unlock doors. Place was super busy but it was still real quiet and peaceful

The check in manager was new and alone and while she did the best she could, the hotel did not set her up to succeed and could not get anyone checked in properly. The pool was closed also and that was not put forth ahead of check in. Rooms were outdated as well as smelled odd. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel nearby.

The room was very clean, in fact the whole property looked very clean. It was quiet and the breakfast was very good.

We checked in, the room was nice, bath tub definitely needed to be thoroughly cleaned. The noise level was not good. Lots of loud speaking and doors slamming. We liked the area but would consider a different location.

Bardstown Blues.
Worse Hampton Inn as far as cleanliness , old and dated. Bed very uncomfortable. Lots of dust in room. AC unit needs repair, on off on off on off….price was fair and breakfast was good. They also let me check in an hour early. But clearly this was un-Hilton like. I would give them another chance if I visit again.

Not the Hampton Feel
The service was great; anything I did need or questions I had were taken care of. The breakfast was stocked, but some things (potatoes, gravy) weren't very warm. The hotel could definitely use updating. The bed was not very comfortable (as other Hampton Inn's I've stayed at have been) and I had to go to the desk to get shampoo and conditioner that were not in my room.

Good hotel stay
Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Only issue was inconsistent housekeeping; toiletries, towels, etc.

Nice and convenient place to stay. Close to everywhere we wanted to go while in Kentucky. Bed was a little hard for my preference but the room was nice. Breakfast was good as well, only negative remark was the sticky floors in the dining area.

Decent accommodations but huge security flaw
We've stayed at many Hampton Inns and this one was typical. A little newer and cleaner than many others but not a cheap rate either. Great staff during our stay, but it has a huge security flaw. The second floor can be accessed via a stairwell without using any kind of key card! I guess because the front desk is right there the thought is people who shouldn't be there could be seen, but with the lack of staffing these days the front desk was not always manned. It seems to be a safe area but we were just surprised to see such an obvious lack of security.

Ok value for the money
We stopped overnight on the way to Mammoth cave. Room was comfortable and met our needs satisfactorily. The drive from the hotel to the cave was pretty.

There is no bar/lounge… great food at the EL Patron. Hotel is dated but clean and staff were very friendly

Clean hotel with an easy check in. Plenty of parking and located close to plenty of restaurants. We were just there for one night as we traveled. Only issue was you could hear everyone that went by the room.

The bedding was terrible the sheets didn’t fit the mattress you were pulling on them all night need less to say not a very good sleep the toilet was stopped up called the desk they had no maintenance it was so bad we were supposed to stay 3 nights we checked out after 2 hopefully we will be able to get our money back for the 3rd night that we did not stay

Actually, I really enjoyed my stay (18th-20th Aug.) & wouldn't hesitate to stay again or refer any of my friends to stay at any Hampton Inn especially in Bardstown, Kentucky. Place was very clean and breakfast was a plus! Kind staff and great amenities! Had an absolutely great time in "Bourbon Country" KUDOS to the Hampton Inn!!!
