The property is very old. The pool is closed indefinitely post covid. There weren't a lot of dining choices nearby. It takes over an hour to get to the city center by train, but if you're Ok with a rural place to stay it's not too bad.

Hi CherylWe very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the Engadine Motor Inn.We are a traditional style motel located in the Sutherland Shire which is a suburban in Sydney and neighboring to the Royal National Park and many beaches in the south coast. It takes maximum 45 minutes from Engadine Station to Sydney central station. and the train runs every 20 minutes. Local town center offers many dining options and most restaurants and coffee shops offer deliver service direct to guest rooms.We really wish that we could have help you better to get around the local area which is loved by many local and international visitors. I will be sure toshare your feedback with our team.

I was greeted with a friendly smile and the receptionist had walked to my room to turn the lights and air con on by the time I parked my car A VERY CLEAN QUIET ROOM WITH A MODERN LARGE BATHROOM was welcoming after a long trip VERY LITTLE HIGHWAY NOISE MADE MY STAY PERFECT

Cet endroit était parfait. Chambre claire, propre et bien équipée. Par contre, l'accès n'est pas simple, mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel: entrer et sortir directement sur la voie rapide Il existe une sortie sur la rue derrière, mais un portail bien fermé empêche de passer, même à pied, ce qui serait déjà bien.

Over night stay.
This is a nice motor inn to stay, would highly recommend. It is a bit hard to negotiate whilst driving depending on what side of the road you are on because it is on a main highway. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed due to Covid but I have used it before and it is a nice indoor pool. Our bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze but we had no problem. The shower rose is fixed and we prefer to be able to adjust it but shower was hot and manageable.Could do with a hair dryer, I didn't bring one because most motels have one. Overall I would recommend and would stay again. Thank you.

We are really sorry that we did not see you at checking out. From time to time, we leave the reception post to assist customers, such as delivering additional items, opening doors. As part of our cleaning routine, all rooms are required to be refreshed before guests’ arrival. Unfortunately, the room did not meet your expectation. We will review our procedure with the cleaning team. We provide microwave, toaster and kettles in all rooms. Utensils are also available on request. Our stuff member would be more than happy to deliver the utensils to your room. Again, thank you for your staying.

No frills - did the job.
The overall size of the room was good. Clean. The bathroom was long and narrow, and although the size of the shower itself was decent, the rose was very high with no ability to change water flow direction. There was only a shower curtain which didn't reach the floor and so the floor got very wet in front of the very tight vanity space. Space around toilet also too tight - someone with very long legs would find their knees touching the wall. Air-conditioning efficient and comfortable. Very pleasant staff. Great for our overnight stay.
