We stayed one night in order to take a flight out the next day. Note that this is a guest house, not a hotel. The rooms were very comfortable (with ensuite bathrooms) and exceptionally clean, and Anna was so welcoming, even offered to accompany us if we wanted to walk to/from any of the nearby restaurants after dark. Definitely have the pineapple pancakes for breakfast; they are fabulous!
They can arrange visits to Ngamba Chimpanzee Island, which is a forested island in Lake Victoria (about an hour by boat) where the people are on a small tip and the rest is given over to chimps rescued from illegal trafficking. Really beautiful. (We stayed at African Roots after our Ngamba Island visit.)
It must be well sound-proofed. We saw a number of people come in while we were downstairs in the dining room, but never heard a peep all night.
