Thank you Carly for your review. We typically don't leave sheets and pillows in the closet for the pull out sleeper, since the sleeper, rarely - if ever, gets used. We give the guest fresh sheets when they arrive, if they tell us they are using the sleeper. Front desk staff did give you fresh ones and extra blankets for the kids.We have brand new coffee makers ready when that unfortunate breakage happens. When you told the front desk they got you one right away. Sadly, nothing last forever anymore.Thank you for staying with us. And we appreciate your patience with such things.Safe Travels

We get so many excellent reviews and then we get one like this with no explanation at all. What was so terrible about free live music, great food, superb drinks, spacious rooms, free parking, a rare historical pool in Arkansas that still functions, kayaks, canoes, a private trail, and so much more? People come here to get the historical vibe that you won't find anywhere else but towns that step back in time. You can't find that anywhere but in the Ozarks and Eureka Springs.Good luck finding a 5 star hotel to stay here in ES. When you find it please let us know.Safe Travels

Christy, I literally don't know how to respond to this. We honestly think you wanted to stay at a 5 star resort to get all the needs met that you requested. I might say that you won't find that here in ES anywhere. We are a historical town and every hotel is in that category of ancient and tilted to the side. We just bought this hotel and we are trying hard to remodel one room at time. Once they are done we won't have any risk as you mention.....Safe Travels

If you were here during a festival weekend or a large scheduled event that takes place annually -- prices will be higher during those times. You will find that happens in all resort towns and all hotels. We stay in communication with other hotels that have similar amenities and prices so that we can stay slightly lower than they are. This might be why we have sold out weekends and other hotels don't. Truthfully VW weekend is one of the largest weekends in ES. Again thank you for the wonderful review. Safe Travels.
