친절한 직원~~^^
1층 식당에 있는 체코 및 폴란드 스태프가 굉장히 친절했습니다. 시골을 작은 마을에 위치하고 있어서 주변은 조용하고 한적했습니다. 룸컨디션은 오래된 곳된 곳이라 크게 기대하지 않는게 좋을 것 같습니다. 우리가족에게는 좋은 추억으로 남았습니다.

The most amazing room and excellent nights sleep , had a room with four poster bed. Room very clean nice view from window of the beautiful stone cottages and thatched cottages plenty of onstreet parking. No noise considering its a bar and restaurant in the evening . 5 star service amazing host

Attractively decorated, quiet and comfortable pub
Beautifully-presented refurbished pub with comfortable bedroom containing a bathtub, friendly team on duty. Sizeable bedroom but no wardrobe or coat-hangars. Not a problem for me, I just hung trousers over the foot of the bed. Strange that breakfast was either full-English or continental. Cereal, yogurt and croissants not available with the full-English.

Awesome nightover.
One nights stay in room 4. Very well appointed with a four poster bed. Good wifi, good view from window. Good bathroom but a little difficult for me to walk around the bath. Excellent breakfast in the morning, but most of all - great service throughout. Will be back in the future as this is a good half way point for us going back to Wales.

Lovely friendly place, very ni e room. Great breakfast. Nice bar. Restaurant looked good but we ate with friends on this occasion. One criticism which I didn't mention on leaving because I was in a hurry, the shower was not good and really need upgrading bathroom good but shower really weak, this is something I hate.

Lovely hotel!
Issue with hot water in the morning so cold showers all round! Saying that I would recommend and would stay again as know the hot water issue was no one at the hotels fault!

Great staff, great location, great food. Perhaps a better range of ales would be welcome, though when only staying for one night this is not an issue to me.

A quaint hotel in an unexpectedly quiet village.
We were met by a friendly and welcoming hotel manager who could not dop more for us after our hectic journey through Swindon ! Our room was very adequate and very clean. Our only adverse comment would be about the bathroom which was fairly small with two showers neither of which during our overnight stay, produced hot water !! In addition there was no plug in the sink which did cause a problem when trying to have a wet shave. The hotel manager sold us the idea of staying for dinner and we were not disappointed. It was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning.

Gem of a B&B - excellent food and service
Lovely location, welcoming staff and attractive establishment. Family room was spacious, comfortable beds and decent en-suite. The restaurant is excellent as was breakfast. In all, we felt very well looked after. Thank you.

Really Nice hotel and pub
Really nice village pub and hotel. Clean comfortable, great friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Close to Swindon local amenities, but far enough away to be quiet and village atmosphere.

Eagle Tavern
A three night stay. Friendly, efficient staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, and who offered us an upgrade to a larger room at no extra cost. Superb food, both breakfast and evening meal. Room not luxurious but comfortable and very clean. Pleasant quiet location. One bad point - the awful painting above the bed.

We stayed one night and it was very quiet in the bar and restaurant on that Wednesday. we had a pleasant stay. Room facilities were good. Breakfast was cooked well enough but no choice beyond continental or English, no cereals.

Nice, but.
The hotel itself is very good, the room large and very comfortable. Very clean. The included breakfast was good, cooked to order Here's the but. We stayed for dinner, there is really nothing else close, and while it was good enough it was terribly overpriced and boring. The menu read well but the execution was not there, at least not at the price. Next time I would have the hamburger and chips, not pretentious and no doubt better value. Telling fact was there did not appear to be any locals there, either eating or drinking.

Great place to stay situated in a quiet village..
I was impressed from the moment we parked outside until the moment we left. The staff were fantastic, especially Agnieszka. She welcomed us with a big smile and was brilliant throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt very relaxed and had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was great too. We will definitely stay at the Eagle Tavern again. Thanks for a great time guys A+++

Spotlessly clean, comfortable room, a cut above your average pub accommodation. Looks like a recent refurb. Definitely a gastro pub which was busy on food. Only minor issue was not much atmosphere in the bar as its heavily weighted towards the food side. Top notch otherwise.

Overall it was a faultless stay evening dinner was fantastic staff so helpful wonderful location in typical old world English hamlet quite charming location and the pub is the Jewel in the crown. Breakfast. First class I would highly recommend this place

The Eagle Tavern is more of a high class licensed restaurant with rooms than a village pub so the food is excellent. If staying for several nights be aware there is no wardrobe in the room - my room just had 2 coat hooks on the wall plus 2 on the back of the bathroom door for anything that needed hanging. There is no on-site parking so you have to park where you can in the village streets. Due to the location, the TV reception was very poor if you want to watch it in your room. Aside from those little niggles, it was absolutely excellent and I would certainly stay again.
