For their safety, it is policy that they do not enter a guests room. We can provide a plunger but again, for safety, we do ask our staff members to not go into a guests room. The elevator is inspected regularly. After a busy weekend where there is more children than usual, elevators will automatically reset itself. Unfortunately, it seems you were in it when it was doing so. We do apologize that happened to you. I can assure you that is not a regular occurrence. We will be doing an entire property renovation and replacing everything in the rooms, including the beds. We hope that you will stay with us again once the renovations are complete so that we can improve upon your stay.

On behalf of the entire team, let me apologize for not meeting your expectations. We recently did give the hotel a "face lift". i.e fresh paint, new carpet, new tile. We will be doing an entire property renovation soon and everything will be replaced and updated. If you ask for fresh towels after housekeeping has left for the day, we do ask our guests to bring their dirty towels down and Front Desk will replace what they are given This is so we can keep track of our towels and not have to replace them as frequently. If you had your Do Not Disturb on the door during housekeeping hours, the housekeepers are not allowed to enter your room and that's why fresh towels were in a bag outside your door. Choice introduced a new policy in 2020 of housekeeping every 3 nights or upon request. That is why you did not receive daily housekeeping, unless requested. We do apologize that you found it inconvenient. We strive for excellence with each of our guests and hope you will stay with us again so that we can improve upon your stay.

Like many businesses, we are short staffed and were sold out on Friday night. Our 3 housekeepers were diligently working trying to get the rooms cleaned in time for check in. We do apologize that your room was not ready for check in. While the shower curtain should have been replaced when the room was cleaned, had you called down, we would have gladly brought one up for you. The elevator issue was due to the children playing on it, unfortunately. After being misused, the elevator will try to reset itself and get "back on track". I do apologize that you were in it while it did so. I can assure you our elevator is inspected regularly and is up to code. We hope you will stay with us again so that we can improve upon your stay and you can see that this is not our norm.
