시내 한중심에 있는 관광지 근거리 호텔
체크인시 직원분의 친절과 미소로 장시간 운전으로 힘들었던 몸과마음이 스르륵 풀어지네요. 주차도 발렛파킹해주시고 유로지만 가격도 적당했고요. 조식은 따듯한 음식이 부족했지만 무난하니 갠찮어요. 전반적으로 편안하고 깨끗했어요. 그리고 무엇보다 중심가에 있어서 피렌체대성당 등 도보로 5분! 이게 젤 강점입니다.

피렌체 중심가에서 도보 10분거리의 호텔입니다. 다만 호텔이 오래되어 일부 시설은 리노베이션이 필요할것 같습니다. 조식은 간단하며 간단히 식사하인다면 외부에서 드시는것이 좋을것 같습니다. 전체적으로 만족 합니다.

Do not use this Hotel!
내가 이 호텔을 예약한 것은 피렌체역에 가까우면서 산타마리아광장에 위치했기 때문. 즉 위치와 뷰를 보고 선택한 것임. 4인 가족룸을 예약했는데 막상 도착하니 가족룸이 없다면 근처의 같은 4성급의 다른 호텔로 안내함. 항의했더니 방이 없으니 어쩔 수 없다고 했음. 옮겨준 호텔의 경우 큰 불편은 없었으나 예약한 방 대신에 같은 호텔도 아닌 다른 호텔의 방을 안내하는 것은 명백한 예약 취소 사유가 됨. 예약을 취소해서 환불받고 다른 호텔로 가고 싶었지만 캐리어 끌고 다닐 가족을 생각해서 겨우 참았음. 4인 가족룸이 없다면 처음부터 예약을 받지 말아야지 예약을 받고선 오리발내미는 행태는 호텔닷컴의 신뢰도를 떨어뜨릴 수 있음. 후기글에 나와 비숫한 경우를 당한 황당한 사례를 봤는데 이 호텔은 상습적으로 이런 상행위를 하는 것 같음. 호텔닷컴에서 강력하게 경고하든가 추천 호텔에서 제외해야 한다고 생각함. I booked this hotel because it is close to Florence station and was located in the Santa Maria Square. I selected this hotel because of its location and view. But When my family arrived, Hotel Roma did not provide the family room, also leads to another four-star hotel near the same. If there is no the family room,Hotel Roma should not have received reservation. I saw the improbable case later suffered the same case mentioned in the article.this hotel is equal to the commercial activities such as habitual. Hotels.com do strong warning and should be excluded from the recommended hotels.

한국인에겐 추천하고 싶지 않습니다.
새벽 4시까지 넘 시끄러워서 잠을 잘 수가 없습니다. 이틀밤을 잠을 못자니 저희 부모님들은 병이 날 정도..아침 식사는 별4개 짜리 호텔이라고 볼 수 없습니다. 먹을게 별로 없습니다. 체크 아웃하고 잠깐 가방을 맡겼는데 캐리어 번호키를 변경해 놓아서 여행 가방 아직 못 열고 있구요. 기대했던 피렌체 여행을 완전 이 호텔땜에 망쳤습니다.

싱글룸과 클래식 두 룸을 경험했네요. 둘다 자기만의 색깔이있어서 유쾌했구요. 다만 양쪽다 호텔 메인 산타마리아 노벨라를 바라볼수있는 창쪽이아니어서요 답답함도있었네요 하지만 전체적으론 깔끔하고 자기만의 색깔이 뚜렷해서 재미있었네요 전 개인적으로 모던한것보단 클래식한걸좋아하는데 싱글룸이 더 운치는 좋았습니다 좀더 큰 룸으로 이런 느낌이들고 창이 메인 건물들을 볼수있는 룸이면 정말 베스트일듯합니더

This place was TERRIBLE - Dogs barking all night and staff refused to call police. Front desk staff was super rude with Lucci throwing the keys at me instead of handing them over. Do not stay here.

Florence is nice, hotel needs improvement.
Pros: Centrally located. Good maid service. Morning staff was very helpfull. Cons: Very warm room. Informed front desk. We were told to open the windows because the AC was closed. Unfortunately, it was noisy and a swarm of mosquitos entered and stung us continously. Pillows were very unconfortably thin and hard. We asked for more pillows but were told to use the ones in the closet, which were also very bad.

I’ve stayed at many hotels across Italy and spent good money on this one because of the rating. Dirty with extremely uncomfortable mattresses. My VIP was a beautiful bottle of wine with two disgustingly dirty wine glasses. Location is 10/10 but the hotel my sister stayed at down the street was clean and much better and cheaper.

I believe some of the one star reviews are from a mismatched expectation and experience, due largely to the hotel advertising rooms that don’t match all of their offerings. Hopefully the hotel clarifies their room differences so guests will not be disappointed by the rooms, as personally I wouldn’t have paid the premium price here to stay in a classic room. I’ll try to share all my facts so that if you book you can best prepare for a great stay . Very cordial and polite staff who do their best to accommodate you, but you may be very unhappy if you end up booked in a nonrenovated room and there is no chance to change. It is important to know that the majority of photos (hardwood floors, white comforters, walk in showers) are of their newly renovated “modern” rooms, but you may land in a “classic” room instead. I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to confirm room assignment if this matters to you. The classic rooms are not renovated- tubs, carpet, yellow covers. We were initially checked into a “classic” and the ac did not work well to control the humidity. when I realized at 1130 pm there was NO blanket, the gentleman manning the front desk empathized with me but could not (would not?) leave his post to get a blanket. Between the damp, the cold, and the carpet, we woke up with runny noses and allergies. I look for hotels with hard floors for this reason. In the morning the staff was quick to move us into a modern room. These have the hardwood floors, thin down coverl

Great location in piazza novella, close to the train station. The rooms were spacious, the hotel was dated but beautiful. The only complaint we have was the AC in our room and throughout the hotel. The air was stagnant and muggy. Overall, Florence was beautiful!!

Hotel Roma is located in a really good spot of Florence if you don't plan on staying in the city very long. I was right next to a lot of public transportation, attractions, and everything was within walking distance. The desk staff was really good, the ladies helped my wife and I find a place to dine for the night as well as make reservations for us. All of the recommendations were great and really made our trip better. However, the beds were relatively hard, and uncomfortable, there was no air conditioning for the most part or the air circulation was poor. We had to open the windows up at night to let some cool air in, we were traveling in April so not really during the hotter months. We also could hear a lot of the noise coming from the streets. Overall, the experience at Hotel Roma was good and the only thing that really prevented me from giving this place a better review were the two hard beds.

Quirky charm, great service!
We had to arrive in Florence a day early unexpectedly and were lucky to get a last-minute booking at the Roma. Everyone at the hotel was great. In particular, Benedetta at the front desk assisted us via messaging (through hotels.com) and was super helpful when we arrived. We had a recently remodeled room that kind of mixed traditional and mid-century decor; a nice change from what chain hotels are doing now! Very comfortable and the bathroom was well-supplied. Really, the whole place has a quirky charm that we liked. We already had nights booked elsewhere, but the Roma would be a fine place to stay if you want to be on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, near the train station.

Okay hotel stay but in a great location. Not too far from the train station and its in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, which makes it walk able to lots of places. The room was anything like the first main picture that you see on the third party booking site. Checked in exactly at the check in time was given a room that is on the first floor. When we entered it felt very claustrophobic and had a window that looks out to maybe another room or storage area. We asked to be moved to another room and the receptionist advised us that is their updated room but can put us into a older room, which was fine by us. She was apologetic and nice. Room on the third floor looks very outdated two uncomfortable twin beds pushed together, bedding was rough and scratchy, pillow is very deflated. The shower stall is tiny even for me (I am 5'1) and the shower stall doors does not completely close and/or seal leaving water all other the bathroom floor. There are mold in some area of the carpet. Breakfast is okay..nothing that stands out... Note: when you leave your hotel room, you give the front desk your key for safe keeping (key is very heavy)

Hotel was a 10 minute walk from the train station situated in the square. Clean, comfortable with a very attentive staff. Look no further. Excellent value for the money.
