The apartment was very nice ... however the shower leaked all over floor which attracted ants. They sent someone to fix shower but the silicone did not work and it continued to leak. Also no one came to clean the whole week we were there, when asked we were told it cost extra. Had to ask for clean towels, and toilet paper ran out. And the bed was a bit too hard for my comfort.

Everything is great. The only thing that is a bit conversome is the fact that have to go to a different place to do the check in and it was not evident in the confirmation. We got to the place and realized there was no lobby, read again the email, and then go to the other place to check in, to finally come back and get in. I would write the note about check in up above in the email.

Check in is at a different hotel, they ordered us a cab from check-in hotel to this apartmenr. The apartment was infested with flies. They provided us with a WhatsApp number which we called and they reluctantly send someone. The gentlemen thet sent moved us to a new apparment. The new property had no hot water so we called again and they sent the same getleman who was able to fix it. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, all we could feel was springs. Although the hotel was able to sort out the majority of issues, this was very frustrating. The property is about 2km from the inner city. Its a long 45min walk particularly on hot summer days this is very exhausting. There is a bus near by but particularly annoying planning your day around a bus timetable. I would not suggest staying here. It is very far from the inner city.

Unfortunately, these days Florence was full of small flies that were attracted to the light in homes, apartments, hotels, restaurants nearby the river and entered as soon as one opened the window or terrace door. Fortunately, the "invasion" last only a few days. As you mentioned we immediately upgraded you to a higher category apartment and the problem with hot water was also resolved instantly. Our location is well indicated on our website and with a little help of maps one can figure out if it meets one's needs before arrival. As you mentioned there is public transport available, as well as bike-sharing or rental. Cycle lanes from the Suites to the old town go through the beautiful green area along the river Arno, with outdoor bars and restaurants during summertime. Of course, there are accommodations available right in the inner city but for a different budget. It is always recommendable to choose the accommodation that meets one's needs and budget to avoid discontent and enjoy your stay. Again we apologise for the inconveniences and sad to receive such a low valuation from you even after all nuisances were resolved quickly by our attentive staff. Thank you, Sincerely,

Luxury but not recommended.
I had 2 apartments. Both of them are luxury flats, nicely finished. I would not come back here though. In both cases the keys collection is about 20 minutes walk away. Honestly from the flats. The flats are owned by an hotel in the city centre. Furthermore, when I got into the second flat, it was literally invaded by small flying insects. I spent a good 40 minutes to get rid of them. Also, the flat is in the basement and there's no indication of its location.

Very unclean apartments, neglected by management.
There were disgusting fruit flies everywhere. The A/C did not work when we got into the apartment (they had to send us batteries by courier). The WIFI stopped working on day 2. And the check in is 1km away from the hotel, it makes for a very long, hot walk.

As for the check-in, we offer a free shuttle service to all our guests upon arrival from LHP River Hotel & Spa to LHP River Suites; therefore we do not understand how come you walked to the appartments. Upon check-out, we are happy to assist all guests by reserving a taxi or giving indications on how to get around with public transportation. Since the service is a short time apartment rental, we do not have staff on site, but we are available by phone 24h a day. Our unit had several issues, both shower heads were broken, one of which fell while showering. The bathroom toilet continued to run water after flushing. A piece of molding from the door frame fell on me. The heater was shut off and there was no hot water in a the unit so in the middle of the night we were switched rooms

The overall property was fine. There were two glaring issues, however. The bed was literally a box spring with no mattress. Try to sleep on a springs, I dare you. The other issue is their washing machine took 4 hours to finish! We were up all night listening to the darn thing. We actually didn't sleep at all. One of the worst hotel experiences of my life.

The property is lovely but it’s 15 mins away from the city which is really just too far. The bus is convenient but as I live in the city at home I don’t want to be commuting while on holidays. Once we had shopping so a taxi was about 15-20 euros. The staff were helpful and if you need space it’s a nice apartment but the location didn’t work for us.

An amazing apartment with one big disappointment. The beds were INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE! I could not sleep on the mattress and had to put the two blankets and the throw under a sheet to try and make the mattress more comfortable! Fortunately it was warm enough to just sleep under a sheet

I stayed only one night. The place is very clean and modern. The administration (another hotel) is far away from the building. We had to go there to pick up the keys. There is no parking space available at this facility. Its almost impossible to find parking space on the street. We never understood why the administration requested us to pay extra money for taxes. We paid everything through Expedia but they requested more money.

Parking in Florence is always hard to find, for this we also suggest to leave the car in a garage close to the apartments at Euro 25,00 per day. The tax you paied is the city tax, a tax for tourists that is never included in the apartment rate because you pay it only if you really stay in the city, for this you need to pay it directly to the property. I loved this place. Very nice and comfortable. Location was okay. Close to a supermarket. A little far to restaurant but full kitchen in hotel. An updated place that felt like home away from home.

Residential Retreat
We continue to rave about this place to friends. We booked last minute and were amazed at the space. Modern decor with two bathrooms and bedrooms made "coming home" much easier at the end of the day. Everyone had their own space. The kitchen is perfect and there is a grocery right down the street. It has as a beautiful balcony where you can enjoy your wine at the end of the day. The washing machine also dried out clothes....amazing! The staff was extremely helpful and approachable. They answered every question and assisted with taxi calls. You are a distance from the center of town but living with Florences' families. It is a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The hotel we booked was a hotel room - not an out of the way apartment. The staff was not helpful and incredibly rude. Never have had this experience before highly recommend staying elsewhere. The distance and not being able to call for a cab added money and time on every venture outside of this apartment. This was not at all represented by Expedia.

Really enjoyed this apartment/suite. Staff was helpful and accommodating: never got negative responses or sense frustration from any member of staff (as we did in other hotels throughout Italy). Modern apartment and up to date. Washer/dryer in unit: takes some time to figure out, but worked.

Excellent Stay in LHP Suite
The apartment is in excellent condition: very clean, professional decorated, and close to bus stops. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and is about one mile from the check-in location. Please read the contact email which provide the location of check-in. We did not pay attention so we went to the apartment first. However, the staff is very nice and professional. They picked us up from the apartment, check us in, and take us back to the apartment. In addition, they also helped us to order taxi to train station. Overall, staying in LHP Suite Firenze was very nice, and I highly recommended it.

Modern spacious and clean apartment in a quiet area. Be reminded the apartment is 1 mile away from the check-in desk. If you need anything for your stay, you have to call. We stayed 1 night. When we were there, we managed to call the reception desk once for taxi, thereafter it was not contactable at all till next morning we depart for Firenze SMN train station.

Beautiful apartment close to down Florence.
We stayed in this apartment for four nights in May 2017. It is a beautifully decorated and spacious apartment, with kitchen and two very nice bathrooms. The apartment was very clean. It is a little outside of downtown Florence, but close to the bus stop where you can take one bus to the downtown area. We did have a couple of issues with the apartment, however. Firstly, the individual who resides in the unit directly above, was very noisy, constantly scraping furniture above our heads all evening and even well into the early morning. It was very unnerving. Secondly, the mattress on the bed was horrible, extremely uncomfortable. We could feel all of springs in the mattress. For such a wonderfully furnished apartment, I was quite surprised and disappointed that the hotel would provide such a terrible mattress.

Nice room but needed to change on the system
We stayed one night in the apartment, The room was very nice/clean with equipped kitchen But there were some problems on the check-in system. The check-in place is very far from the apartment. It isn't convenience at all!! We don't quite understand on this system. And even we arrived 2pm, we still had to wait for 2 hours :(

Lovely hotel ! Big rooms very clean :) we had an issue with a leak and they addressed it right away when we mentioned it got fixed instantly ! There's everything you need in apartment even a wash machine & dryer ! Kitchen stuff to make a meal it was really nice very quiet area as well! It is abit of a walk but nonetheless very nice place

Nice spacious apt with washer and dryer
The apt is new in good condition with all the facilities. However the cleaner does not clean well leaving the washer n dryer door dirty, and they forgot to replace the toilet paper and shower gel after cleaning. But the hotel staff is very helpful in getting these items in the morning and allowing us to leave our luggages in the River Hotel concierge.

Great apartment in Florence.
Great choice for an apartment in Florence. Very good and comfortable condition in a safe area. Easy to find street parking. Nearby small supermarket. Excellent hotel staffs. Clean twice or so per week, so keep it clean. Check in at Hotel River, a few blocks away. We will stay here again.

A good walk from the centre, but worth it.
This is an excellent apartment in a residential area. Very quiet and comfortable. The walk to the old quarter is easy, either along the river or through the streets (very safe), but takes 45 minutes or so. If you prefer not to walk there is a regular bus service very close by. The reception desk is at Hotel River (which you pass as you walk into town) - very easy to find. Excellent staff, check-in was easy and they arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment to let you in and show you the main features. Had to contact them during my stay which I did by email and they responded very helpfully almost immediately. I've stayed in many apartments in Europe and this was by far the best set up for check-in and key collection. There is a supermarket just two minutes away for essential items. There are one or two bars in the area but really not much choice for diners, so best to plan to eat out in town. Overall this is an excellent place to stay away from the crowds. High quality. If you go to Florence you'll be doing lots of walking so the extra minutes to get this place are well worth it.

This nice apartment is managed by Best Weston Hotel. Apartment is large enough for 4 people and interior is also very nice. Bed were comfortable and bathroom were also clean and nice.

Parking Nighmare
We arrived by car around 11 PM. If you did not notice the fine print, you need to go get your keys from the Best Western about one mile away. Information on hotels.com showed that parking is available for a surcharge-that is not a true statement. In addition, the staff at Best Western were clueless to providing any parking assistance and suggested that i park my car on the street. I spent over three hours searching for street parking near the apartment and eventually parked about 1 mile away. it was a nightmare! One of the families that arrived at the same time we did, parked near the apartment and got their car towed. The rooms were fine and the location was decent but the lack of information and support made our experience bad. Thumb down for River Suites.
