Dear Yi, Piazza Pitti Palace is not an ordinary hotel, it is classified among Period Residences which means that it follows different rules. It is not mandatory to have service 24 hours but we do our best to help our guests anytime that is why we give them our personal mobile numbers. We are always available in case of emergencies. We are sorry that you could not appreciate the historical and cultural beauty of our rooms, everything you see inside belongs to the XVI century so it may look old but it is just ancient. All the furniture must match with the vibes of the palace. We also would like to remind that this building belongs to the list of historical palaces in Florence and so we do not have permission to make big changes for what concerns architecture. As for the taxis we are sorry and we are aware that it might be hard to find taxis, mostly during touristic season, but it does not depend on us since we do not have a private taxi service. The best we can do is to help our guests find a taxi but the service is run by the municipality of Florence. Anyway, we hope you enjoyed your stay in Florence. Best regards.

Dear Yi, we are sorry about what happened with the taxi service, but unfortunately we cannot do anything about that since it is none of our competences. We do not have a priority line so we must call taxis as everyone does and sometimes the lines can be really full. We always remind our guests that our phone numbers are for emergencies and to use when reception is closed. When we are at the reception - and that morning we were there - we suggest to come and talk directly to us so that it is easier to solve problems. Anyway we are happy that you finally found a taxi and that you caught your train. Next time we suggest to reserve the taxi in advance so that such episodes will not happen again. Your review is not correct, we gave you the room that you reserved , Royal Suite. The difference is that you reserved a room for two people and then you was 2 adults and 1 child and you when you arrived required an extra sofa bed that if is not required during the reservation is not done. Despite your arrogant way of talking to us, with high tones of your voice, so much so that the owner has repeatedly had to tell you to be calm and kinder and despite we talked with Expedia and they confirmed us that you reserved only for two and the third person could had to pay we prepared the sofa bed for you without any extra charge only to make your stay enjoyable. This place is a Residenza d'epoca in an historical palace so if if you had read the information about us you would have known that there could not have been a panoramic lift in our structure. The lift is small, but your folded stroller fits perfectly. We have also invited you several times to leave it in storage at the entrance of the building, which you did not want to do. The most important thing to report is the disrespectful way you left the room, we also have videos showing that we can forward you. In your room we found everything, leftover food from all sides, dirt everywhere, total disorder.

Includere il brut nel costo del pernottamento non siamo d'accordo in quanto per la nostra politica e credo per la maggior parte degli hotel di lusso gli extra non sono MAI COMPRESI. C'e appositamente un listino prezzi e l'ospite può decidere o meno di consumare. Lei era libero di non acquistarlo. in piu come complementary offriamo: acqua, capsule di caffe nespresso, selezione di te e tisane, marmellate e miele snack dolci. Un arrivederci

We are sorry for the noise , but this is a Residenza d'epoca , an historical palace, and we can not change our windows and sometimes especially when the pedestrian area is open to the traffic there is a little bit of noise.

Your review is Anonymous so we can not understand who you are and during your stay you didn't told us that something was wrong for you , we would have done our best to make your stay comfortable. It is correct, in our Palatina Suite there isn't the shower but there is only the bath as is possible to see on the photos on the web site. Piazza Pitti Palace is not an hotel with all the services but it is a Residenza d'epoca , it is more familiar place where the Reception is open only during the day, we are sorry that you didn't find someone at the reception during the reception time too, but we have also an office outside so sometimes we are not at the reception but there is always waitress that can help guest for any request. As told during the check in all guests has our personal telephone number so in any time of the day it is possible to contact us for any support or request. City tax is a tax of the City of Florence , it is not for us , so we require the payment is cash for this reason but if guest has not cash we accept payment by credit card too. In our breakfast room there are complementary cookies , fruit , chocolate, bonbon and we change them when it is necessary, we check them every day. We are sorry if you found stains in the pillow , we are checking it now. You could have told us and we could had changed it immediately. We hope to welcome you another time to make you stay better.
