LOUD music in the parking lot all night. No towels, no weather stripping on the door and the shower didn't work. At best this is a 1 star hotel.

It was cheap, that was all I can say that is redeeming for it. You get what you pay for and we needed a cheap place to stay. If you want a room with a bed and a toilet the size of a toddler toilet in a preschool class, enjoy.

My boyfriend and I reserved a room on Expedia. Earliest check in time is originally scheduled for 2pm. However we were traveling on the road and arrived at 4am. All we wanted to do was rent the room til 11am (original checkout time). The hotel receptionist proceeded to tell me I needed to pay for another night since it was passed check in time. Umm what?! So I’m staying less hours and leaving at the same checkout time and you want to charge me more? I payed $70 for the room, he was about to try and charge me $140 for 7 hrs!! I said no way and asked for a refund. They then took some time to tell me oh okay, I can check you in for a $34 late fee. I asked him to show me this late charge fee on paper.. Really?!?! After being on the road for hours and exhausted I payed the extra $34. Over $100 to stay in this dump. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling and a hand towel shoved it to try and cover it up. Horrible experience, will never book another stay at a Red Roof Inn.

There was no hot water in my room my last two stays. This trip I found roaches crawling around the room.

This is our second stay, 2nd yr on a row for quick trips to Florida and staying here on the way north (back home). Just off of 95. We travelled with our dogs and it’s convenient to take them in and out quickly. The rooms have been clean and spacious, and the staff is friendly. The only complaint is the breakfast, just sweets, but for the price is okay.

I would not stay here ever again. Our room was dirty and they had roaches. If it was so late when we checked in our room we would have left. I was scared to go to sleep at night plus our king size bed had a hole in the middle of the bed. As soon as we laid down we rolled right to the middle. Our toilet was not bolted to the floor very well either. It also was very low. Staff was friendly. Didn't stick around to check out the breakfast. I was ready to go as soon as we could. They need to call a pest control and update the rooms. Room needs a little more attention to cleaning, like in the furniture and the refridge behind furniture. Floors need to scrubbed better. I killed a bug and went to wipe it up and the tissue I used was black from wiping the floor. It also looked like a kid marked it up with a black crayon. Do not stay at this place unless it is your last resort and you can handle the roaches.

we pulled into the lot and I walked to the desk and wasn't greeted they were to busy talking and helping someone that works there keep there child asleep. Place is dirty bugs and flys. would never ever stay there. Your outside said it all to me so I canceled. your rooms dont look like that cause a saw a door open.

The room looked nice but the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept and there were roaches running around. The shower water wouldn’t stay hot. Definitely wouldn’t recommend

The rooms floors were black dirty. We laid a town on the floor for our cooler and when we loaded the cooler to.the car the towel on the bottom was black with dirt! The air conditioner was banging so loud I reported it to no one coming to see or check it. The breakfast was a joke no toast no bagels no cream cheese no butter and no napkins the coffee was empty and the man at the desk never changed anything neither did the girl the previous day. Went to make a waffle, No mix asked if we could get some also to no avail and this was at 8:30 am We will never use red roof again in Dillon SC

The man who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The positives end there. Our two rooms were labeled non-smoking, but one was clearly a smoking room. The smoked-in room AC/heat unit was visibly broken with parts falling off of it, and the cooling feature, though set on the coldest setting, did not sufficiently cool the room. In both rooms the vinyl flooring was so dirty our children’s feet were black after just an hour. The shower was not cleaned, with clumps of hair in the drain, and it was questionable whether the sheets were dirty or just stained. The breakfast was barely there. They did have waffles to make yourself, small cereal dispensers with four choices. There was bread provided in an enclosed case. One or two apples were in a three-tiered fruit basket, but two of the tiers were empty. There were no employees present to even ask for supplies. I had to find plates for our family by looking under the cabinets. There was a sign indicating there was milk in the “refrigerator”- a mostly-empty full size coca cola cooler around the corner. It had one styrofoam cup of something that looked like maybe chocolate milk, and two gallon-jugs with less than an inch of milk left. No creamer, no juice, no water offered as beverages. There were no napkins. All areas of the property had visibly broken AC units coming off the walls, damage to the outside. The ice machine was broken. Hard to tell if struggling to make ends meet is the cause or the result of the disrepair.

Room was definitely not worth the money, there were roaches, the sheets were dirty, and the room reeked off cigarette smell. Really would like my money back!!

It wasn't nothing outstanding, was a place to sleep. Appeared the guy at the front desk was new as he had a stack of licenses he had taken for check-ins and forgot to give back. There was a hole in the wall under the sink outside the bathroom that you could see in to and the guy in the room next to ours just kind of hung outside, kind of creepy. Honestly felt like I had to sleep (which I did little of) with one eye open.

Never leave good or bad reviews. But this one deserved this one.. The worst 3 rooms i have ever had. The only people that should rent a room from here are druggies prostitutes and drug dealers. Please dont bring kids here. Rooms smeel like 8 packs of cigarettes, roaches, frodge didnt work., microwave look like spaghetti exploded, bums everywhere, very very very dirty, receptionist looks like a junkie herself, the housekeeper most of been an old druggie. It was bad. Just plain ol bad.

The property needs some maintenance and could have been cleaner. The staff was very nice but the breakfast was pretty limited. Ok for 1 night but not sure I will stay there again.

My initial service experience was positive-- they were having an issue with the credit card machine but let me take my room (which was clean) anyway and would call me when the machine was up so I could pay. No, I would not let them copy my credit card as requested because I thought that sounded shady. Flash Forward 8 hours later. If they called my phone to tell me the machine was up, I didn't recognize it-- but they had no hesitation walking into my room at 11:15 at night. " Oh there's someone in it !" closing the door back, frightening my family, and waking my husband. We settled up 15 minutes later in the office, but I still think that should have been handled either earlier in the day or early the next morning since he already had my ID. And maybe I'm used to a different kind of service, but the room was not cleaned and the towels not changed while we were gone during the day. Our room keys even had to be 'redone' daily because I guess they didn't think we were staying all three days. Clean eating area, but weak 'continental breakfast '. No food in the vending machines or ice in the ice machines -- not to mention the contact high i got walking back and forth to the ice machine to find out-- which blew nicely from someone's room into mine through the vent.

Nice for an overnight-Clem but very worn
Very nice staff. Room was clean enough but in pretty bad disrepair. Fine for a stop along the road. Had a good rest. Breakfast was not good- plan on eating at very close by restarants
