Construction is still going on so when you’re dining or sitting at the pool you are hearing all the construction noises. We stayed in the West wing which had not been updated yet; the elevator to the fourth floor rarely worked and the room itself needed updating. While the bathroom had been newly renovated, the cleanliness of it, especially the shower, left a lot to be desired. Twice the fire alarms went off which was jarring and definitely interfered with Island relaxation vibes; both times the alarms continue to go off and access five minutes. When we checked in, they were experiencing problems with their computer system and could not process our credit card for the room, so rather than telling us to just take care of it later, we stood there for about 25 minutes until I asked if we could go to our rooms and take care of it later. The resort itself has potential to be beautiful, the dining option was good but $24 for avocado toast is ridiculous. They charged us to upgrade the room and with all the inconveniences from the outdated and dingy room to the fire alarms I wish I had not paid over $300 to upgrade because it was not worth it.

Beautiful beach, delicious restaurant and cute bars with yummy drinks. Beach service was nice. Relaxing and beautiful. Nightly entertainment. Wish the rooms were a bit bigger and some attention to detail was considered a little more. But, would definitely stay here the next time we come to key west!

I like its historical background, style and large private beach. Two pools. It's location a bit south of downtown makes for a quiet neighborhood.... ... but also makes it a bit of a walk to downtown. But there are plenty of transportation options (bus, bike, scooter, golf cart, etc). My only real complaint is there weren't many trash cans in the room! Only one small one in the bath. Had to use alternative options to get rid of trash.

The room was fine, didn't have a balcony as described. We requested another cleaning before we unpacked because there were hairs on the floor and the vents were clogged with dust. The property is still under major renovation which we were ok with as it only limited views, created dust and noise. We will give it another try next time when the work is completed. The staff was very friendly. They need more dining options.

We booked three rooms. One room was not cleaned, and the other room's door was not even closed after room cleaning. We came back in the night and found the door was open. We were scared and reported to the hotel immediately. No any feedback from the hotel till we left! We will not choose to stay at this hotel in the future.

I hesitated to book Casa Marina based on some iffy reviews, but took the plunge, and I’m so glad I did. We found the hotel to be truly stunning. While there's an ongoing renovation for a new beachside restaurant, it wasn't a disturbance during our stay – the construction area is well-contained and doesn't detract from the hotel's beauty. We were there over the holidays, so there wasn't a lot of construction work happening; however, on our last day, the construction workers were busy at work, and we still did not find the construction bothersome. Our family of five (three teenagers) booked a suite. The rooms are clean and stylish with a tropical beachy vibe. I love the exposed beams and the checkered board tile floor. The beds are incredibly comfortable (on the softer side). I actually told my husband that I’d like to look up the mattress type. The staff's hospitality has been consistently efficient, kind, and accommodating. The beach and pool are both lovely. They have two pools; one is for adults only. My daughter and I had a great time collecting shells in the soft white sand. Despite having rented a car, we have found it unnecessary to use it, considering the hassle of parking in town. Instead, we have been Ubering or walking. I look forward to returning to Casa Marina someday and enjoying the new restaurant. It's a gorgeous and peaceful property, and I'm so glad we booked it.

The property was pretty. Bathrooms were new. The elevators looked like they had never been cleaned inside. Food was very basic. I had to call multiple times to get things such as towels and multiple for a maintenance issue. Doormen are very helpful. So many fans on in the lobby in December made it unbearable to sit there.

The property is very poorly run. Slow, unresponsive staff. Rooms were not made until we called the front desk and very dirty on arrival (four someone’s deodorant in it). We would not recommend it.

Beautiful room & location. The lobby bar was fantastic! The pool service was wonderful! Very friendly staff. Awesome walking around town- lots to see and do. We rented a boomerang for a day and that was amazing!! The down side was dealing with lots of construction every day of the week. A wedding took over the resort for two days. The following day they took away all the beach chairs to set up for a beach function so everyone crammed into the pool area.

Construction going on at the property that the web site or reservations did not disclose! Some amenities advertised were not delivered! For example no beverage service to the beach! We were told our room Would have a partial view of ocean but all we saw was roof tops ! Food in restaurant was good but very limited menu! Property very over priced for what was delivered! Loved Key West and will be back but not to Casa Marina !

Their construction is ongoing — don’t be fooled. They previously had concierge svc on the beach- barely around this week. Snooty, rude “Robin” manager guy was dishonest, rude, abrasive and arrogant. He has zero customer service skills. Libby is freezing. Our hallway carpet was never vacuumed - filthy, no body wash all week, $40 for parking. Seriously? Drinks were overpriced and didn’t taste good. Better resort years ago.

The property was closing at week’s end. It was evident that many areas that are usually up to Hilton’s standards fell short……soap containers not filled, fresh towels not delivered until 3 days into the stay, limited food choices and of those breakfast was very expensive [$88. For 2] for eggs, bacon, coffee. The locations and building was spectacular but it masked disappointments usually not found at Hilton properties.

This is a beautiful, but older hotel. I needs an update to really be a Hilton (which I hear is coming). Views were incredible. Property is spectacular. Older room, very noisy from neighbors above and beside just moving around. Music from outside came through the thinner walls. Convenient to Duval.

We loved staying here. It’s a beautiful hotel and hanging out by the pool or the beach made the trip. Rooms need an update but they have renovations planned for later his year. Very convenient location to access the rest of the island.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, lovely views and beach, but a lot of the hotel is in a very obvious state of disrepair. Many areas/things are broken, cracked, clipped, stained or show other major signs of wear and tear. Very unfortunate!

Great location on the beach in Key West, however, the property is not well maintained and was in poor condition for the price paid.

This property is so not what you think. It needs to be updated bad and is over rated. There were a few staff that was nice, but most of them acted as if your bothering them. The elevators were either out of service, or run down and hot. The housekeepers were using the one main elevator and not letting guest use them. We had to walk up and down an old dingy stairway that a guest fell down the stairs and broke her ankle bad. The restaurants onsite were not opened according to the hours advertised. The prettiest part of the hotel is the picture you see with the path walking to the beach with the ponds on the sides. The hotel has 2 piers on the water that are closed from the storms that happened previously. They were starting renovations and drilling and moving stuff around the property from 8am until sunset. My 2 year old grandson could not nap at 12pm anyday we were there. Lastly, when I was relaxing and napping on the large loungers facing the beach by a concrete path, the staff were always walking by on phone calls on speaker talking and laughing loudly. I was asleep and would jump awake many times. I wouldn't be so upset if the y discounted the rooms, or if the issues were advertised in advance. We couldn't get lunch or dinner unless it was from the bar kitchen outside. We asked for a menu for room service, the lady at the desk stated scan the code on your phone in the room. There was no code on our room phone. This is a destination hotel for weddings and business meetings.
