A real gem. This property is clean and beautiful. Brand new dock, landscaping is perfect, location is within minutes of everything you would want while maintaining a “getting away from it all” vibe. We will be back.

Beautifully kept property. Our unit was nice. Just a few things that could have been better—master bed was very uncomfortable, disposal didn’t work, vents needed cleaning.Wish the pool had been available after sunset—would have enjoyed an evening dip in the pool. Overall very happy with our stay. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others!

Would stay again. But would book thru VRBO. Was disappointed by the villa chose by resort. I think I’d go to the owner to get the specific villa I want.

Disappointed.
As a whole property it was very nice. Our unit needed a deep clean. Our microwave broke and there was no one to report it to repair. The twin beds in the third bedroom need replacement in the worst way. Bed springs can be felt laying/sitting on the bed and you can hear them crunching when you move. Most uncomfortable. King bed has huge hump in middle. Also not very comfortable. Given the weekly rate we paid it was definitely not worth it. I expected a clean unit with nice beds, linens and towels. Only one bath towel per person. Pull out coach mattress stained and sheets piled in middle of mattress and had dead bugs in it.

Cumbersome, but nice.
We had to move from one unit to the next mid vacation due to ,either, vrbo, or coral reef making an error, in which they gave us a lodging unit which was not abailable for the entire period of our vacation. We received a modest discount for our inconvenience, having to move all of our stuff and boat slip. Other than that, it was a beautiful property and great location. I would recommend calling the Indigo Reef Resort and avoiding VRBO all together to avoid miscommunications.

We enjoyed a week long vacation in Marathon, Fl and chose Indigo Reef Resort as our "home base". Indigo Reef itself is a wonderful place to stay, however our Villa ( 11) had many issues. First of all, the unit was not properly cleaned. There was food on the stove, the floors were very dirty, hairs left in two bathrooms, and when my daughter to bed at night she had to get out and shake the sheets because the sheets were sandy. Many items in the unit were broken (cabinets about fell off upon opening) and the washer leaked all over the floor. We called the unit Manager and he was not friendly at all. He said that we would have it fixed and it never was..with only 6 towels given for 6 people, laundry is very necessary. This is only a fraction of problems we encountered! Bottom line, we would totally stay at this location again. We will be very careful with which VIilla we are given, most are very nice and well taken care of and the grounds are well cared for.

For some reason, information that was to come to me regarding check in, rules, directions, etc. from KeysCaribbean would not either email or text. I spent a lot of time tracking down someone to talk to, and although they were nice, there was a definite electronic communication problem. The villas are spacious, the grounds lovely, the pool very large. The porches were picturesque, but unusable because of the bugs. Very convenient for boats/fishing.

Fo boat just not here
There is a boat dlip in front of each unit. Only the one you are assigned is 100's of yards away. Frustrating. Not the resort it used to be.

Thank you for your feedback, Thomas. Each Villa is individually owned and deeded a slip in the marina; many Villas have slips that are within steps from the patio. We can often accommodate such a request and apologize that this was not the case during your stay. Indigo Reef is a superior option for any Guest traveling with or renting a boat. Every Villa includes a slip space for a boat up to 31' (length overall) and the property neighbors Vaca Cut for easy access between the waters of both the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean.

Indigo Keys is in a perfect location. Views looking over the water. Easy access to local grocery and touristy things. Access to condo was easy with info (codes) provided prior to arrival. Condo had most everything we needed. Others before us had left cooking spices and charcoal/lighter fluid. The grill area was convenient and pool was beautiful. Set up of condo was good. 3 bedrooms worked very well for us. Second bath was a little small for 4 people. Master bath was large. 1/2 bath downstairs. Laundry in condo. Would have liked extra silverware. Enough for 6, so had to wash dishes after every meal. Cooking pans were limited in size. Would like skillet or larger pan. But certainly enough variety to make it work. No recycling to be found.

Indigo Reef is a Keeper
The resort was in an excellent location and very well kept. Though expensive it was worth the steep price tag for convenience and location. The unit was top notch and pool area pristine. On the downside for a resort of this caliber I would have expected a hot tub in the pool area and at least a small beach. The sample shampoos and lotions and soaps were very skimpy for a stay of a week for 5. The gym was sparse and equipment antiquated. To end on a positive note, interacting with the mother and baby manatee off our dock was lovely. Also the breezes and views from the 4 porches were delightful.

Do not stay in unit 11. The resort itself was beautiful and well maintained but Unit 11 badly needed renovating. The paint everywhere was dirty, worn and scraped. There was mold in the bathrooms and water damage on some ceilings. Furniture was dirty and badly worn and the whole unit had a nasty smell and a delapidated air. The fridge was dirty as was the cooker. The master bedroom drawers contained someone's used underwear and an empty beer can. Again, the resort was beautiful but this particular unit needs a top to bottom makeover and better cleaning staff.

Great deal for a really nice place.
Beautiful condo and grounds. Loved that it's right on the water. Kitchen is sufficiently stocked with dishes; beds and pillows were comfortable; spacious dining/living room areas. Condo was very clean and looks like it's kept up well. My only suggestion is to have curtains over the blinds so that bedrooms are darker at night. Coming from a rural area, I had a hard time sleeping with all the light from street and grounds lights getting around and thru the blinds. My only real issue was being awakened 2 nights in a row by a dog barking from the properties just to the north (not from an Indigo Reef unit). Hopefully that wasn't a regular tenant and is only a one-time issue.

Great choice if you need a boat dock
Great location, very safe. A perfect place to rent if you arrive to Keys with your boat. House was very spacious and well planned. We loved beautiful terraces. View from our house was amazing, but it was north side, so we had no sunshine on our terrace, nor in the house. We would have enjoyed sunset view house even much more.

great place for families
Wonderful stay. Spacious, modern and clean accomodations. Sam was extremely courteous and helpful. Great for families. Beautiful property and pool (heated). No housekeeping services, but we didn't mind. Also no crib/ pack n play, so we had to bring ours from home.

Great Condo for Rain In Travelers
This was a condo experience rather than "hotel". Beautiful condo with top of the line with full kitchen and laundry. Boat doc right outide your door and great decks out every door. Unfortunately, it rained the entire week we were in the keys. Thus the reason for only giving the resort 4 stars on maintenance. Outside our unit the sidewalk was covered in a sort of meldew or mold which when wet got VERY slippery. As if getting around in the rain was not bad enough, trying not to slip when entering the condo was impossible. But once we got inside the condo was a great place to keep dry. The dining table fit 6 people confortably and provided a great place for card playing and eating. If we would have seen the sun, I am sure the unsets would have been awesome. We will definatelly be going back to this location.

Beautiful sunsets
This place is absolutely adorable. The sunsets in the evening were breathtaking. All the appliances looked brand new and worked very well. There is a master boathouse behind the swimming pool with all the ice you can use for your big coolers on your boat, which was very convenient. There are grocery stores and supply stores very close so you don't have to worry about bringing groceries or if you forget some supplies for the boat. The restaurants in the area were not that good, recommend using your kitchen. A few pointers: bring kitchen supplies that you know you will need, the tephlon on the skillets were scratched up and didn't have a chef's knife or kitchen shears. Had enough plates and silverware for 6 people and they provided soap for dishwasher or hand wash. There are small bbq grills by the boat docks, but bring your grilling supplies (metal spatula or tongs, charcoal and lighter fluid). Again the grocery stores were convenient for these supplies. I can't think of anything else to say or advise but I loved this place and am definitely coming back.
