Beautiful property, clean , good food and drinks , liked that it was mostly adults - but can see it’s also family friendly . Great room , we had a room facing the water way . Friendly staff . Nice location , was quiet but a short 10-15 minute car ride to Duval street .

Beautiful Property and great staff. Only 8 min drive from Duval Stayed in the 2br suite and the layout felt like I was at a beautiful townhome rather than a hotel. The property felt like a small community of townhomes and felt very safe. Didn’t use the pools but there were 3-4 pools which was a plus if you want to be away from any crowded pools. The sandy area in the back offered sunset views with hammocks and swings. Start at front desk was friendly and helpful when I had questions. Valet staff was polite and professional. Would stay again!

Second year to this property. Very clean, quiet and friendly staff. Not close to Duvall Street, but can rent golf cart or uber very easily. The scenery for water view rooms is beautiful. Back deck with sand, lounge chairs and hammocks.

This was my second time staying at the Parrot Key Resort. My husband and I had a partial water view king room on the ground floor. We enjoyed our stay. The only negatives I had was that the shower handle wasn't the same as the water temperature. It was either scalding or freezing and would keep changing no matter where the handle faced. The water pressure was also quite sad. Showering was an unpleasant experience. Other than a few outlets that didn't work, (had to move the coffee maker to another location) we were very happy with housekeeping. They do an amazing job and work very hard. I would stay again, but make sure our room had a working shower first.

The property is absolutely beautiful -- a lovely little oasis. The staff is wonderful everywhere --check in, restaurant, housekeeping, the shuttle driver Richard is delightful, the concierge. We were very well taken care of on our stay. The pools, the ocean view. My only hesitation is the location which is two miles from the main part of Key West. The shuttles help a lot with that but they end at 4:oo or 4:30. Luckily Richard is super charming and Ubers are easy.

Beautiful property and pools, bar and restaurant were nice A little overpriced. Staff very nice. The rooms were very loud, no soft surfaces so everything echoed , you can hear everyone around you walk in their room, doors slaming, even talking and other alarm clocks!. Lacking a wecoming feeling compared to the rest of the propert.

The property was very well maintained, green areas were really nice, rooms were big, spacious, with 2 balconies, a bedroom and a separate living/kitchenette room with sofa bed microwave, minifridge and sink. The inside property restaurant was very convenient for breakfast and late dinners. 4 separate small pools were heated, acquainted and cozy, surrounded by green tropical foliage.

I liked the plush vegetation which made the property and pool areas calm, island feeling and serene. The villa was nice and comfortable equipped with a Keurig, mini fridge and microwave.

Hotel was clean and it was great to have daily room service. Concierge helped us rent bikes and it was seamless. Grounds were very well kept, staff was very nice. Fun to see the resident cats in the morning poolside and seemed the hotel cared about them (big points there for me). Biggest con was the poolside service. We stayed 2 nights and both times got to the pools after 4pm. Towels were completely out both times and had to ask to restock (and even then were only a few brought). Cocktails were pricey and honestly not great. Bartender I think merged the recipes for my husbands and my cocktail and a separate day had a pina colada that was pretty tasteless. Apparently the poolside service must stop at 5. We were the last to get to order drinks and many others wanted them in the adult pool which was farthest from the bar. Didn't feel we really got our moneys worth out of the mandatory resort fee but in honesty didn’t use the shuttle or amenities at Smathers beach. No offer to help with bags to the room. Only 1 of the 4 windows in the room had a screen and we would have loved to have the windows open with the nice weather. Overall it was a good experience but there were some 4 star things that just weren’t there, mostly related to the poolside service. The valets were very nice and we did leave an item in the hotel upon check out which was recovered. Had a good time and overall recommend but we have high expectations for a four star hotel with the prices we are paying.

Lovely Hotel. Staff was great. Restaurant had great food and drinks. Not a ton to do within walking distance but Uber was super quick and reasonably priced.

The property is great. However, for 3 nights in a row, the fire alarm went off. First two times briefly. The third time non stop until I walked to the office. Turned out it was the battery. Those should be changed regularly. (No offer to compensate for annoyance). Also the mandatory cancellation and rebooking at higher rate, to adjust reservation is ethically questionable. The rooms and grounds were very nice but the other issues diminished the experience.

Wonderful room with amazing view (partial water view). Beautiful property, very tranquil, great pools. Service was excellent-thanks, Nina! Great grocery store and breakfast/lunch places walking distance (KeyWest Creperie, Goldman’s Deli, El Habanero, Smoked BBQ). Realize the shuttle only runs 8:30-4:30 to the beach and downtown. Uber/Lyft are pricey and unreliable. Make friends with a taxi driver (Vladimir, DB Taxi) much less expensive and prompt. Will be back.

I really had a wonderful time at Parrot Key. The villas are comfortable and just luxurious enough to make one feel pampered without cross the line of feeling like you’re in a museum. The pools and other sun and sand areas around the property were amazing. Laying around on a hammock for an afternoon, or staring up at the stars in the evening while hearing the sounds of the ocean in the background were my favorite things to do. For those who like to mix in more of the Mardi-Gras atmosphere can find plenty of opportunity just a short rental bike or Uber drive away on Duval Street. My only critique is that the in-room dining was good, but not great. Also, it was strange how the people who took the in-room dining orders could be a bit curt at times. They didn’t go as far as to be overtly rude, but each time I hung up I felt like they walked up to that line. Maybe they should make sure the people who take those calls are not the same people behind the bar or otherwise servicing live customers so that they wouldn’t feel some need to rush through the order - which quite honestly takes less than a minute anyway…. The fact that literally every other staff member that I interacted with was extremely friendly probably made the low-average experience with in room dining stick out to me. I want to be clear- this was literally the only critique I have and it won’t stop me from coming back.

Enjoyed our stay. Grounds were lush and well maintained. Room furnishings were a little dated but good in room amenities. A bit of a challenge to negotiate stairs to upper level suite with our bags. Our suite tucked away in the far corner of the resort was very peaceful. The three pools were great based on your requirements. Only one restaurant though which provided very little variety but staff service was great. Cleaning staff though could be a little more personable.

We stayed in the sea view villa which was very nice. A few things that could make the experience better - the shower head was poorly designed, the complementary shuttle to the old town could run later instead of finishing at 4.30pm, out of the 4 pools - 3 of them would close at 6pm so we had no time to use them after sightseeing. Valet parking was expensive and should be included in the rate.

We thoroughly loved our stay at Parrot Key. The room was comfortable and quiet. The only negative was that the bathroom needed to be updated. The vanity sat a little crooked and the sink kept running.

Was great place to stay the first two or three times we chose it. This time was awful, couldn’t check in till 5 mins before check in time, couldn’t get towels or soap and shampoo. Had to leave in middle of night to take my wife to emergency room. They ended up admitting her. Called the hotel next morning to tell them what happened and they said I had to get back and pack my stuff and check out before check out time. Oh well, just a little help would have been appreciated, especially considering I had rented a room for 8 days.

We liked this hotel. We will book again. The shuttle to downtown was very easy and convenient. Our room was quiet though the stairs to our room was a bit of a surprise. Loved sitting by the pool and relaxing. Staff was courteous...Katie was a great bartender who added a drink to her menu to quench our thirst. JetSki tour next door was great.
