My first Bed and Breakfast and it set a hugh standard. We stayed 2 nights in Rm 1 and it was very comfortable. The breakfast is grab and go style and there was a sweet kitty what greeted us everytime we got back. Parking is a few blocks but we were able to easily drop off and load up befire parking. Definitely near the good stuff on Duvall but very quiet area. We came during Spring Break when it was high season. Loved the Elemis bath assesories very nice touch. Would stay again for sure.

Nice place to stay on the quiet end of Duval. Clean, small room. Cute small pool area with a small pool. Nice office and complimentary breakfast area. Side street entrance with no parking. Parking says 3 blocks away but its really like 6 or 7.

This location was perfect! So close to the fun and activities of Duvall St. but tucked away enough to be quiet when ready for sleep or down time. The staff was pleasant and helpful in making recommendations. The room and grounds were nice and clean. Parking is off site, but not inconvenient as you can walk everywhere, including the Southernmost Point Bouy. We will be staying again!!!

Room was very small and shower was tiny. Room was clean and the AC worked great. Breakfast was ok. same thing every morning, no variation. Only protein was boiled eggs, only flavour of yogurt was peach. Coffee was good and strong. Breakfast really needs to be upgraded. Great location.

The location is really great. While all tourist attractions are in walkable distance, the accommodation is still located in a quite neighborhood. We had a large and clean room. The only downside is the considerable below average breakfast.

I do not recommend staying here. We booked based on amenities that we did not receive. We did not have a private terrace. We did have an area but it was a walkway for other guests and staff. Nothing private! The booking states daily housekeeping. At checkin we were told no cleaning but could exchange towels during business hours. The booking states 2 free drinks a day. There was an open bottle of wine in the check-in area. The same bottle was there for all 5 days. That's disgusting. Our booking said we would get VIP amenities. The employee at checkin has never heard of VIP. About 1/2 though our stay, we went under a tropical storm warning due to Hurricane Ian. All staff left with no communication to us. We couldn't get clean towels or toilet paper. We ended up going through rounds of tornado warnings with no access to a safety plan. We were in a 2nd story structure that was a poorly constructed addition and was unsafe in the weather but we had no where else to go. We didn't have access to any inclement weather items like a flashlight or weather radio. We did lose power. There were no safety lights that came on. There was no way to access weather updates because do internet service. Our smoke detector'd batteries were dead so when power went off, it started blaring. Obviously, battery replacement isn't something they do. We had to climb furniture to reach smoke detector to disable it and then slept with no smoke detector.

Hello Shannon,Glad to see that you finally arrived back home safely, we're aware that you were not able to get back home because of the hurricane and we're happy that even though of most facilities being closed we were able to house you till your departure even though you were given the option to leave early.First off, we apologize that our staff under training didn't recognize your VIP status, however, the following day you were more than compensated for it so we're surprised you're still holding on to it.The owner gave you his personal cell number and was in touch with you throughout the storm. You had full access to the kitchen, the food and the bar and you even acknowledged the free mimosas and food and thanked him for it! You had the whole house to yourself. He offered to send someone for the smoke detector and you refused. I'm not sure what else you were expecting when we were all trying to be safe during the storm. Yes you did lose power, so did the rest of Florida, no one expected this monstrous of a storm to attack us suddenly, so sorry that you had to endure it with the rest of us including cable and internet.We hope that we don't ever get storms so that guests like you are never inconvenienced. But it is Key West after all, this is the price we pay for living in paradise.

Late sept stay
Lovely place but I’d choose room #5 for the quiet. We were in #6 - and there was a sitting area right outside our window where our early morning risers upstairs neighbors would sit and watch videos on their devices and talk and laugh loudly. The breakfast is ‘Hampton inn’ quality - a little bit of fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and breads and pastries only. The little pool was lovely! They had bikes to rent which was fun!

Seascape Tropical Inn was a great choice. Close to everything. It could get a little noisy with local partying, but i do recommend it.

The property was just fine and clean. Checking in after 6 PM you have to go to another hotel to get your keys and parking pass. Park on Street. My problem came the next day when we were getting ready to leave. Manager called at 11:30 to rudely remind me that checkout was at 11AM. The caller said, "Hello this is ____ calling from Seaside Tropical Inn". I say, "Oh hi good morning". The woman then says in a cold and rude voice, "I'm calling to remind you that check out time 11AM". No hello, how are you, how was your stay... nothing with any interpersonal demeanor whatsoever. I say thank you and hang up. When carrying my belongings to my car, I pass by a woman that looks like a manager who says NOTHING. I then enter the lobby area and there is another woman at the front desk that doesn't even look at me and says NOTHING. I then come back for the rest of my things and both woman say NOTHING. I then drop my key at the front desk, and the woman looks at me with a sour face and says "thanks". NOTHING ELSE. We throughly enjoyed our stay, except the ONLY personal involvement with the staff was NOT enjoyable. JUST RUDE. Will not be going back. For your free drink, you can choose between a can of bud light or a full sugar soda.

We are sorry to hear that you find it rude for us to call you to remind you that the checkout is 11 am and it was already 11:30 and you did not inform us in advance if you will be checking out late. Unfortunately, this property is a 7-room property, and all 7 rooms probably will be checking out at that point. We are sorry if you think it was rude for us to remind you. We take pride for our great customer service here as you can see in our reviews. With the late arrivals this has already been communicated with you from the beginning when you made reservations that if you arrive later than 6 you will be needing to check in 3 blocks away from the property which is still Duval close to our parking lot. Thank you!
