What a wonderful resort in paradise. We stayed in the Bird of Paradise and it was perfect. Look out the window at the Atlantic Ocean. Would definitely come back again. 5 stars.

The property was amazing, our unit was spacious and inviting. The dock and marina area was calming and perfect for watching the sunrise! Loved the bikes & paddleboards available for use.

Check in was a breeze. The house was warm and welcoming. Maid service each day was an unexpected plus. Beautiful pool area and nice marina. Nothing but positives. Highly recommended.

I really hesitated in writing a review for The Caribbean Resort because I didn’t want to tell people about this hidden gem of a resort. That would just make it that much harder for my family to find an open date to book. But these guys deserve a review plus some. We spent five nights here in the Canary Island North house and it was beyond AMAZING!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out was like a dream. It was the easiest check in process I have ever experienced. The ladies in the office were very very helpful and accommodating. The property itself was a slice of paradise. My kids enjoyed free use of the bikes, the paddle boards and the kayaks. We even cooked out one night because the resort offers gas grills for each home. The pool and hot tub were beyond tropical and amazing. It was so cool to be sitting in the hot tub and watching the iguana’s and gecko’s walk around. Both pool and hot tub were like bath water. I can firmly say that we have found our permanent resort every time we vacation in the Florida Keys. And I have to give a shoutout to housekeeping. They were so accommodating. They came up and checked with us each morning to see if there was anything we needed or anything they could do for us. These people are the real heroes of the resort because everything was in pristine condition inside and out. My 66-year-old father says this is the best vacation he has ever been on in his life!!

Someone disappointment with the Parrot Key.
I wanted to give Parrot Key a four or five because it has so much going for it. The architecture is very nice, the grounds are beautiful and the staff has, for the most part been excellent. Shortcomings include tired interiors with stained carpet and rusty fixtures in the bathroom. They really need to improve maintenance. On check in we were informed no daily housekeeping. Additionally no glassware or utensils in the room. Again a number of things are right with this property, and also a number of shortcomings.

The rooms were very spacious. The Hemingway house was great. The property is so quiet and relaxing with a nice pool. We used the free bicycles on the property to get anywhere which was so convenient because we didn’t have a vehicle.

We very much enjoyed our stay for Labor Day weekend. The house was nice and ckean, and having the pool at our front door was absolutely wonderful. It was very nice, quiet, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

We did not get the opportunity to meet the owner of the property but many of his employees sang the praises of their boss. Each employee was very happy to be of service, and they carried out their assignments with excellence.. You know how it is when the head of a company does something with excellence, the attitude flows downhill through every employee. That is the way it was during our stay. The property was gorgeous inside and out. The owner owns a high end gift and décor shop just a short walk away. That is why every room is so well decorated. The pool area was just like it was dropped out of a Caribbean island. Everyone made our entire stay an unforgettable experience, and I can promise you that we will be back. We started planning our next trip while we were there. If you do not visit the Caribbean Resort, you are missing out on the best place in Islamorada, but don't worry about it, WE will take your place. Thank you staff for EVERYTHING!

We absolutely loved this property! It was so clean and quiet. The pool was lovely. The house we stayed at, the Malaysian East Palm was beautiful. We will definitely be back another time. I loved Islamorada and think this is the best resort in the area. Definitely worth the price to stay in such a nice resort.

We do not own a boat but this is the perfect spot if you do! We loved the vibe and enjoyed talking to people as they came in from fishing. We really enjoyed our stay. The office staff is very nice.

Independent villas attached in two rows heading down to beach. Key west style with big porches and high ceilings. Grill and small tiki hut adjacent to unit with grill. Full kitchen with no dishwasher. Bring your boat property has a yard to park and private slip. Beautiful ocean front tiki hut with seating overlooking ocean and private marina. Self serve ice machine at dock. Beautiful private pool lushly landscaped. No on site bar or food. Very quaint and excellent staff. Gated property with pass code. Quiet street and secluded/private.

Fantastic stay all was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the Caribbean Resort. The grounds are wonderful, despite the weather we were deal by mother nature we found comfort in our villa. The only unsatisfactory note I would have would be the construction and landscaping that was going on around us during our stay. We chose the Caribbean resort because of its quaintness and being the only guests staying at the resort this weekend we wished we had a little more quiet! Our first day by the pool was disrupted by construction machinery going back and up the main path by the pool. The second day we woke up to landscapers planting trees right outside of our villa and had to call the desk to get them to give us some privacy.

I love the layout of this place. It’s a small resort with very private accommodations. The decor was beautiful, the house was very clean, and it really had everything we needed. We could walk right out of our back door to the beautiful pool And we’re just steps away from the marina.
