This is a SPRING BREAK PROPERTY WITH DOZENS OF COLLEGE-AGE STUDENTS DAY AND NIGHT. Management courts this population, offering parties and with virtually no concern for other guests. Of the 80 plus lounge chairs, few are available. Also, outside guests with day passes reserve all their spots early in the morning. Music is loud. Management's answer is that this is a family-friendly hotel, and perhaps we'd be better suited for an adults-only property. The rooms are lovely, the location great, and there is an inconvenient "serenity" pool. However, the main courtyard - the only main hotel space - is a party zone. It's hard to imagine that, for $650 per night, plus the occupancy fee neither included nor mentioned by Expedia, that this would be the hotel serving spring breakers; Key West is not filled withe college kids in general. So our resort fee was waived. We had a nice room upgrade. But beware of the months of March and April....we feel duped by Expedia.
