Absolutely stunning area! We had the chapel suite and it was so romantic!!! Communication was a bit challenging but other than that, an absolutely beautiful place to stay!

The location was great and the town is beautiful, the only disappointing thing is that the pool area looked way bigger in the photos and it’s actually very small, and there is a petition now that has been put up which means you cannot see the beautiful hills outside

Nice hotel, but with a couple of issues
A very likable hotel, with a couple of issues; Our room (#3 on the Ground Floor) did not have any wardrobe facilities (as per June 2022). Had to put our suitcases on the extra third bed, and live out of them. Quiet street outside, no problem with noise from street. However, noise from lobby area right outside of room when guests were returning at night, and also "step sounds" from people walking in room above ours (on the 1st floor).

Waking up to a chorus of birdsong, throwing open the floor length doors to a view of orange and olive groves, against the backdrop of mountains - there is nothing better to start the day. Next, breakfast on the terrace and time to plan your day. The receptionist, Bea, was extremely helpful and so friendly. We loved Fornalutz and look forward to coming back.

Genuin vistelse med nära till natur
Vi gillade hotellet väldigt mycket. Bra och skön dubbelsäng. God frukost, lite tråkigt bröd och kaffe. Charmigt hus. Härligt med bastu. Perfekt läge med vandringsleder nära hotellet och med bil bra läge till olika utflykter i bergsbyarna runt om! Kommer gärna hit igen. Det var dock lågsäsong och kallt ute vilket i detta gamla hus också innebar fuktigt och kallt inne på vårt rum. Elementet gav ingen värme, men ac:n kunde sättas på varmt och det hjälpte. Rummet luktade lite fukt. Vid bokningstillfället frågades det inte efter ankomsttid, vilket sedan ställde till det då receptionisten hade gått hem för dagen när vi kom fram. Då kom vi inte in på hotellet. Jag löste det genom att ringa hotellägaren och få portkod, så att jag kunde hämta nyckeln till rummet själv.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful !! A converted convent reveals Mallorcan history alongside a chic renovation. The location with its mesmerizing view of the hills, its garden & terraces for relaxing with a pool to cool off is perfect! Great breakfasts and lovely staff - a wonderful stay all in all - can’t wait to go back!!

Wir verbrachten nun schon unseren vierten Kurzurlaub in diesem wunderschön gelegenen Hotel in den Bergen von Mallorca. Der Garten mit seinen Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen, die Aussicht auf die gegenüberliegenden Berge sind einfach einzigartig. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, vom frisch gepressten Orangensaft über Müsli, Wurst und Käse ist einfach alles da, was man für einen Wandertag als Grundlage benötigt. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl darin. Das war mit Sicherheit nicht unser letzter Urlaub in diesem Hotel.

Stunning Mountain retreat
We had a fantastic time at this hotel. It has been restored beautifully and it was so relaxing to sit by the pool and look out over the beautiful mountains. Highly recommended.

Fornalutx Hotel With Spectacular Views.
Nothing wrong with it, just lacks warmth, my room, number 2 was fine, a little dusty and annoyingly noisy. However, to be in Fornalutx is a magical experience and I would probably stay again as the charm overwhelms the discomfort.

As I had stayed in Fornaluxt previously I knew as a lone female traveller the village would be safe. The hotel was a converted convent down a quaint side street. I had the single room at the top. The bedroom had a very comfortable double bed, but I felt the room was fairly basic for the price. The bathroom however was very modern and very large, could probably steal a few feet for the bedroom! The breakfast was varied and plentiful and there was a gorgeous terrace to sit at facing the stunning mountain views. It's a shame there was nothing to offer in the evenings in regards to dining, a bbq would be a nice touch, just to make the guests mingle. I feel the prices at the 'honesty bar' could be lowered as there is no service required, but there was plenty of choice should you wish to use it. All the staff were very friendly. Overall I spent a delightful week in the prettiest village, and the hotel was perfect for my needs.

Great peaceful location, room and building
Had a fantastic time in the cosy Rustica bungalow at the Petit Hotel - we were upgraded from a double room when we arrived. Great room with our own private garden space. The hotel is very clean and is a good balance of modern and traditional decor - definitely no tacky bling here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A few parking spaces are available an easy five minute walk away (15 euros as day) but book this in advance with the hotel. The pool is very clean and perfect for the afternoon sun, although quite small and probably not what a family would hope for. The location is perfect - on a very narrow quiet street only a couple of minutes away from the main square - Fornalutx has everything you need - a bakery, small general store, about 8 restaurants and cafes doing a variety of food types. Highly recommend the Cafe Med and Pizza place. Best thing is the views, the winding medieval streets and walks to Soller.

Katastrophe. Wir sind, nachdem wir die Zimmer besichtigt haben, wieder abgereist. Ein Zimmer war nur über eine steile Treppe erreichbar; fuer eine aeltere Person keinesfalls mehrmals am Tag zu bewaeltigen. Das stand jedoch nicht auf der Internetseite. Das andere Zimmer befand sich im Nachbarhaus im dunklen Souterrain. In den Zimmern roch es muffig. Handtuecher und Bettwaesche waren teilweise loechrig und verwaschen. Der Garten wirkte ungepflegt, die Aushilfe an der Rezeption war vollkommen ueberfordert. Das Hotel entspricht 2 Sterne; keinesfalls mehr. Wir haben schon viele Hotels über Hotels.com gebucht. Bisher haben die Fotos immer den Gegebenheiten vor Ort entsprochen. Jedoch erlebten wir mit diesem Hotel die größte Enttäuschung. Obwohl wir mit dem Hotelmanagement versucht haben eine einvernehmliche Lösung zu finden, war dieses nicht dazu bereit. Es wurde der volle Preis in Rechnung gestellt. Wir koennen das Hotel keinesfalls weiter empfehlen. Hotels.com sollte die Zusammenarbeit mit diesem Hotel beenden.

Wonderful views, perfect location for walks..
Perfectly located boutique hotel, but with more rooms than you first imagine, as there are neighboring buildings.. Small but adequately refreshing pool, giving the feeling of being in a Roman bath.. Well to me anyway.. Nice breakfast, served on the terrace, unless it's raining.. I would have preferred more fruit and less meat & cheese, but that's a personal preference.. Very friendly staff, although with no lifts it would have been a gracious offer to help with luggage to the top floors.. Beds not overly comfortable but wonderful size bathrooms, and rooms had a lovely homey feel and wonderful views to the Tramuntana.. Perfectly situated to explore the walks in the area..

Charmerende hotell, ideelt for fotturister.
Petit Hotel er et charmerende familiedrevet hotell med hyggelig og veldig serviceminded personale. Frokosten består av en god og rikelig buffet. Hotellet har en koselig hage med utsikt til appelsinplantasjer og impoerende fjell. I nærområdet er det fine og velmerkede turstier i bratt terreng.
