Property was a complete disappointment, we decided to spend 2 nights there for an anniversary night, for 200dollars a night plus added expenses just for booking we expected a nice stay, instead we suffered through a horrible ghetto experience, upon arrival the building is done up, murals and pics of old time “celebs” and the staff is wearing bright Hawaiian shirts, but a closer look at the walls and infrastructure tells you this place is ancient and it’s lipstick on. A pig, the conscience snack areas are empty! Except for a warm red bill sitting on the shelf, the rooms aren’t swept and the floor is black with dirt, my wife and I had to use a towel to soap and clean the floors, they told us they have NO small rags to wash with only large towels… the one Resturant they have is trash and lacks variety the place was an overral disaster needs to be taken off the site and shut down, I want my money back.

Switched rooms twice due to bedsheets not being washed / replaced after checking in, in the middle of the night. You could see blood stains, hair and dirt in the feet area of both beds in the room. The towels had stains too. Once we switched rooms, the seers were gross again so we had new sheets brought to our room and had to replace them ourselves. The hallway smells unfresh, we heard dogs barking from other rooms and kids crying all night next to our room. One of the worst hotel experiences.

The property does not look as great as advertised in the photos. It is often overpacked and makes enjoying the props they do have up difficult. Was also informed at check in they overbooked.

Really great place. Loved the retro feel, including the record player in the room. Amazingly friendly staff. Clean and safe. Not much more $ than the motels around but a world of difference in accommodations. Wish we had more time there!

We stayed on a Sunday night that had very few people in the hotel. However the hotel is so noisy due to no carpets and paper thin walls. The sliding doors to the balcony also seemed very insecure and unsafe. The photos make it look magnificent but in reality the decor is just meh.

They have to invest in air freshener or any fragrance for the lobby. There’s a small quick dining restaurant at the lobby area, and the whole place smells like fried food. Also it’s supposed to be an smoke free environment, but the elevator and hallways smells strong like cigarettes and other smoking stuff 🌱

Pool was not heated and un kept. Patio area and bar was really nice. No coffee for guest even if it says Starbucks served here.elevator very slow one not working and sharing with staff and garbage and dirty linen.

The rooms look nothing like on the pictures. The area around the hotel does not look safe during night. Lobby was noisy and full of people. Hotel looked without care.

The hotel was NOT what I was expecting. It is very eclectic with all the old TV's, record players, etc. But it is kept clean. The chef at the pool and the pool bar is awesome. I am not a fn of the cleaning staff entering my room and they do not have signs to hang on the door to say do not disturb. Also, twice the cleaning lady took out my used towels and didnt replace them and I had to stop at the front desk to ask for more. Thwy have a pool table in the lobby, oversized connect four game, a hammock and chaise lounge chairs outside. On weekends they have SEVERAL events so it is always lots of people walking around the hotel and the elevators are NOT key card activated. A couple blocks from the party is a very sketchy neighborhood and I do not recommend stopping at that 7-11 or getting anything in that plaza. Drive a few miles North or South if you need gas, snacks etc. Every staff person was extremely friendly. Overall our stay was good.

I wasn’t allowed to get a room because I had forgotten my drivers license and only had a copy of it on my cell phone after an 18 hour day of work I was left to find another hotel to stay and Hampton Inn, and La Quinta both were willing to take my copy Since there was no other alternative.

We picked the hotel by the simple reason of it gourmet stars. The namn chateau is strange “it doesn’t appear to be a Carsle”but “golf resort” would be more accurate. Having a retro “butiqe” hotel I like walking on a sharp edge. What could be a perfect decoration from the 1960 could also just as well appear to something old. In this hotel everything is a mix, some things are prefect retro, and some things, like a plumbing pipe towel hanger in the bathroom just looks like the owner found it on the net a thought it looked cool… The were computers and Mobil phones in the lobby from the 80-ties, why???? A big thing appears to be that Jackie Gleeson lived next door. It’s strange that the owner of the hotel doesn’t realize 99% of the guests never heard of him -and actually doesn’t care. The shrinking 1% who care about the history should be giving the chance of staying in maybe five retro room filled with the stuff from the 60-ties that now overflowing the lobby. Just go for the nice surroundings and maybe go for the golf resort track a the main thing. The restaurant was also strange, just get a normal breakfast serving instead of a pancake shop, we went to Publix for breakfast instead…

I love the vintage theme and aura. The whole resort was very peaceful.The salt water pool was much appreciated and enjoyed...the pool area could use a bit more maintenance though. I was a bit disappointed that most of the equipment in the gym were broken, hopefully it will be upgraded with the extensive repairs that were underway. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The property is attractive and staff accommodating however the maid/room service was sloppy. The coffee maker was not cleaned for days. The dirty wash rags were left in the room. Very disappointing. Four stars? That has never happened in my 3 star hotels.

Very disappointed with the room, especially that the TV did not work and after 3 tries to fix it the staff did not succeed. Check in took very long...one person at the desk and a line of 10+ people trying to check in.

We only stayed for 1 night and did not get a chance to explore the hotel and area in depth. Check in and check out was fast, plenty parking. Weird deposit charges upon check-in were credited back in few days. Overall the 50s style does not appeal to me but my kids were exited to saw vynyl player and tube tv. I do appreciate hard floor but unfortunately the floors were very dirty. We spilled some water and when I wiped it, the entire napkin was dirty. Also hallways flooring shows lack of cleaning too. The room itself was spacious but lacked additional seating. There was no dresser. The platform bed had plenty storage underneath but my bad knee did not allow me to use it. The bathroom was big and looked clean. There was no hooks in the bathroom for clothes. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The matress seems to be a very good quality. The room was very quiet overlooking golf course. Unfortunately the ac unit and old style fridge were too noisy and got me up many times during the night. Overall our stay was pleasant. The floors need better mooping and ac unit has to be replaced or fixed.

Amazing property!!! The decor was beautiful. The room was comfortable and kept the theme of the hotel. Only downside was not having a full body mirror in the room. Will definitely book again.
