We we’re a later check in and our room was ready for us to walk in. We had also been upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Philip called the day of to inform us of the change and was awesome to speak with. Will be back!!!

Place was dirty and falling apart but I gave it 3 stars because it’s quirky and has potential to be so much better. You get what you pay for.

We really enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and the boardwalk along the ocean. The Ocean Inn is older so do not expect fancy. It has everything you need. The bed has a decent mattress for a good night's sleep and the air conditioner works great! The boardwalk has music and shops and restaurants to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay.

You will not rest well here, worrying about your car being towed. There is no onsight management. They want you to pay for parking, yet you can't get ahold of anyone to do so. Leave all the messages that you want, they will not be returned. There wasn't even anyone here to check us in. They texted me that they would leave the room unlocked and they would leave the key in the table. That same text said to pay for parking in advance, but how, when there is no way to reach anyone? The room itself, is in a building that has a LOT of potential, but is not being managed very well. The bkankets were stained and lots of rust in the bathroom on the mirror and lights. This olace could have a lot of potential, as a niche hotel, but they really need to get their act together. The people who live in this hotel (yes, it's one of those hotels) tell me that management is hardly ever here and that they only are able to pay online, for their weekly rent. If you want decent rest and knowing your car will be safe, go elsewhere.

The place is run down and dirty!! Filthy towels with BM on them! Dirty bedsheets and comforters! No soap, no beach towel as promised! Floors are filthy!

We needed an after cruise, 'day room'. Property is dated. Outside needs TLC, but the room was clean, neat and odor free. It's steps from the less crowded beach. We arrived earlier(10am) than check-in time, but Philip (mgr) was very welcoming and offered to put our luggage in the room that would be ours when cleaned, no later than 2pm. No issue, as we were going to the beach and lunch. Room was ready at 12:30. He then offered us beach towels and chairs to use. We had towels, but then he closed the office and insisted on carrying the chairs to the beach for us! When we were heading for the airport later I asked him for taxi help. He said "too expensive, use Uber". I never had, so he ordered one and paid for it and I paid him. Of all the <3star motels I've experienced, Philip makes this the one to use in this area!

The room condition is poor. It's very dated and desperately needs repairs and renovation. The furniture is very old. Room has old carpet, some vinyl flooring and very old bathroom that needs repairs and complete renovation. The yard is nice and it's within walking to beach and restaurants on the beach. Parking is provided by the motel but you need request it in advance and it's additional $20. Few Parking is available by appointment in advance.

The room was very clean. It is an older property but well kept. The room was quiet and had a small kitchenette. There was no stove, but a small hotplate was in the cupboard. We arrived early and were allowed to check in and leave the car at the property until the room was ready 2 hours later. Check in was easy and convenient. The location was one block off the beach on North Ocean Blvd. A couple of parks and the beach were all within walking distance.

We didn’t see anyone at the property for help, which we did need. There’s a phone number which is just automated so not worth bothering with. The property looks a bit run down but the room was clean had everything you needed. Was quiet at night. Nothing special clean and tidy but very basic. Didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay.

The only reason to stay here is its location. Its run down n old but they try their best to have updated fixtures. Noone was there to check us in at noon. No one answers the phone when you arrive. You have to hunt down the cleaning guy. The rooms are laughable. Doir hits the toilet when you try to close it, large gaps where you can see the outdoors around the door, not secure at all. Fuxtures falling off wall. Plaster bubbling up from water leakage from aur conditioner. Its ok if you need a place to crash thats the cheapest on the beach. Probably actiall price should be $50 a night.

I booked 2 beds for 3 guests and arrived to 1 bed with no one on the property to speak with at only 4 PM (they have no one on the property before 10 AM nor after 4 PM) I was left with the keys to this room and forced to make it work. I called the phone number left on a letter for me if I needed help (which I definitely needed) so called it about 3 or 4 times with time between just to have my calls forwarded and the person's voice mailbox unable to take voicemails. I felt very blindsided and was being tossed to Expedia to get this resolved while sitting in my car and having to ask family members 25 minutes away to take one of my guests for the night. My plans to leave the hotel and road trip back home being made even more complicated thanks to this hotels incapability to provide me the room I paid for and lack of professionalism and accountability. Booking here at this point, maybe you'll get lucky and the accomodations are what you need to at least sleep a single night, but you'll still end up with a room that has an AC that can't cool a room and a door that scrapes the toilet every time you try to open or close it. Even desperate measures are not enough for me to ever even THINK of putting myself at the mercy of this place again.

I was disappointed at the lack of communication from staff who did not respond to emails or calls and had no one in the office to answer questions. Also, room 14 needs a new bed, super uncomfortable. Convenient area close to beach, nice garden area. Not sure we'd go back.

Office was not available at 10, but when they arrived they made the experience nice. Decent outside seating avaialble during the wait. Room was quaint and just a nice mile walk down the boardwalk to the Hollywood beach theater.

We paid in advance tr reserve a parking spot. On arrival there was NO PARKING AVAILABLE. HAD YO PATK ON YHE STREET AT AN EXTRA COST FOR 4 hours until finally someone left. Office not open at 5:30pm right up until next day when we checked out at 10am. Left 3 voicemails to management and an email with no response.
