The room was average with a kitchenette included. We stayed 6 nights - but when we rolled down the comforter to our bed on the first night, the bed sheets and pillowcases had stains on them. Gross! We ended up getting clean sheets at the front desk and changed them ourselves. The room was average, but we liked the kitchenette and the partial view of the ocean. The beach was 1/4th mile away and so we walked the beach every day of our stay.
We booked this hotel particularly for their pool and that it was reported as "kid" friendly . . . but their pool was closed for repair the week we were there. There was no mention of this on their booking page and so we considered it a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. I'm sure there is a disclaimer about this on their web page yet it would have been nice to know before we booked.
We were there in March, so Ocean swimming was too cold for young children. They did give us an option of swimming in their sister hotel's pool at the Hampton Inn 1/4th mile away for which we took advantage. Frankly, the staff at the Hampton were not very cordial and I think we were considered an inconvenience when we went to swim there. This added to our disappointment for the week.
Breakfast fare was decent.
