Finding the specific building at midnight was frustrating since it wasnt clearly marked. And there was sone construction going on in the shared lot. Over all, its a great place to stay!

Fun in the Sun Vacation
Our stay was great. We arrived early after a 7 hour drive. Michael at the front desk arranged for our room to be cleaned and let us check in early. We were able to get another half day on the beach. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice and clean. The beach chairs and umbrellas were included and the attendant was very helpful. We enjoyed restaurants that were very near, within 1 mile. Everything was wonderful and made our vacation super nice.

We expected better from the Wyndham brand.
We were disappointed with this condo. We expected better from the Wyndham brand. The unit was comfortable, but you have to supply your own trash bags, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, coffee filters, etc. When we asked for these items, they said we had to buy our own because they are a condo and not a hotel. We have stayed at many condos and have never seen this. The kitchen supplies were a hit and miss. There were only two knives, no cutting board, etc. The only redeeming factor is the beachfront property. They do provide you with two beach chairs and an umbrella. If you stay here, be prepared to buy some necessities.

the code for the room did not work, and it was a pain to get someone on the phone to fix it. The room was shabby and located far from everything.

On the Beach with easy access. Solid walls resulting in low noise between condos. Heated pool. Close to food, sights, and entertainment. Easy parking and building access. Sauna and/or whirlpool would be nice. Some confusion on check-in instructions. It will not be a problem in the future, but finding the After hours box (office closes at 5pm), would have been easier if the online instructions were more clear what to look for and making the after hours box not look like a Utility Access. Maybe a different color, or marking to stand out.

Scammed by Quest Management Ft Walton Florida
I booked a condo with the Islander Condos through you for this vacation as I was familiar with the property. We I arrived and in the office for check in the attendant told me our condo was moved to a unit in the Echoe Island Condos (also managed by Quest Properties) without ANY consultation with me. I told attendant I booked specifically wanted the Islander as I knew the property. He said we had to take the condo at Echoe Island- no other offer. I feel we were lied to by Quest Properties, Hotels .com, and others as I rented a specific property and received another that was not as nice- an older property. Now that I know these sites, etc can freely charge a rate for one property and give the customer another without consultation I feel cheated and will probably spend much time spreading the word about our experience . Very disappointed after paying $2K for our vacation unit. Scammed

A very old out of date condo. Had plumbing issues in both bath rooms. A condo under construction immediately adjacent to our unit resulted in a very loud noise level all day, making visits to the balcony a very bad experience. Left one day early because of the situation. Wyndham will contact Expedia and request a refund for the one day. One other issue, I had requested a gulf front unit but the one we got was a partial gulf view unit. On the bright side the area was not as crowded as the Destin area

Beach view Condo
This condo is right on the beach. We were on the top floor on the end which gave us a good degree of privacy. There was a nice big balcony with a view of both the gulf and inland water way. It was a nice vacation. This is our second stay at the Islander Condominiums. It has a really nice pool too.

very pleasent and near the beach, you can not ask for more. A little more care in cleaning would be excellent. the most important thing is the respect they give our dogs for allowing them to stay. thank you for respecting our pets

Beautiful beach view, very clean, comfortable room
Great stay at the Islander Resort during our hurricane Irma evacuation. Room was very clean, full kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals, bunkbeds were awesome, beach view amazing, office staff were helpful & friendly including after hours check-in folks. We were blessed & so very thankful to God to have such a beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend & hope to return again someday!

The beach was awesome and the room was very comfortable. My complaint is that when I booked I was under the impression I was getting a one bedroom for the price I paid I was disappointed that with three boys ages 12 and 7yr old twins we all had to sleep in the living room together.

Nice hotel on the beach
We had a nice room but it was very outdated. There were also cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There is no staff after 5 which makes it very hard if you need anything. The elevator went out on us and we had to walk 6 flights of stairs to get to our room. The beach is nice and our room had a great view

The view, even staying on the side, was wonderful. Watching the ocean...water....beautiful sand; my children had a wonderful time. The only complaint was out unit 207, the air did not work good. It seemed to be on a timer and most of the time very humid in the room, especially at night.

Expedia Changes Reservation
After calling and checking on this reservation on three separate occasions, and being told everything was in order, upon check in I found Expedia had moved us to a condo 3/4 of a mile away without so much as a call, Our party was therefore forced to rent a vehicle for our stay. Will never book Expedia again.

Terrific View. Sunrise and sunset. On beach.
Terrific studio condo, # 604. Bathroom and kitchenette area especially nice (granite and tile). Full-size fridge, microwave and plenty of dishes. Perfect for two. Could do 3 - has sofa bed. Owner had just started listing with a new company and checked in with us to make sure all was a-ok. He brought me some extra coffee refills for the Keurig (my hero!!). Also suggested a nice place for lunch. Bed was clean, comfortable and had great view -all sky and ocean through the balcony door. Loved hearing the ocean at night. The unit has a very nice tv and bluray player (free dvd rentals). We enjoyed the balcony, the pool and, of course, the beach. We had good weather for the first week in Feb. (the outdoor pool is heated). Main desk personnel were very competent, helpful and pleasant.

Bed had hair and crumbs in it, back door didn't lock, free movie card didn't work, bathroom door didn't lock, bathroom sink leaked, kitchen trash can lid broken, king size bed mattress needs to be replaced bad!, no lights near bathtub/shower you have to shave your legs in the dark, no access to closet in twin bedroom bed was literally blocking it and you have to stand on bed to get to it. Room was VERY outdated! Won't be back room #6008

Away from the tourist beaches
All the beaches down here have white sands. This beach was away from the busy tourist beaches. The people here were staying in the other condos or apartments close by. The kitchen helped. I cooked almost all my meals.

Nice place to stay
Stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. The location is great. We were in unit 407 that had a ocean view so it was in the side of the building of the smaller units. It was a 1 bedroom condo with nice furniture. The 5 of us were comfortable with the room. The sleeper sofas were a bit uncomfortable but not too bad. I would definitely bring some extra blankets or something to add more cushion to the mattresses. The bedroom was a nice size and having 2 bathrooms was great. The unit had 3 televisions as well, but we hardly watched tv. It was great having a washer/dryer in the unit. The air conditioning was very loud. It sounded like the washer & dryer were on when it was running. The unit was located directly in front of the elevator but it was not bad at all. I was expecting noise from the elevator traffic but that was not the case. I would definitely stay here again.
