When we arrived at check-in time we ran into a bit of a situation. Our rooms were not ready and and were not cleaned. The manager on staff was outstanding during the entire situation. When we arrived we were coming from baseball, we were tired, hot, hungry and ready to get cleaned up. Unfortunately the hotel was not ready for us. The manager on staff made us feel like we truly mattered to him. Only one of our rooms were ready, so we decided to put our stuff away and go get some food. Upon returning he had the rooms straightened out and ready for us. During our ENTIRE stay he went above and beyond for us. To the point where we asked for a deck of cards and he ran next door to Walgreens to get them for us. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I hope for his sake that the hotel chain steps in and helps to find employees to help them pick up the slack.
