The view is great. Property needs some cleaning in stairways. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Don't plan to sleep in as the noice from housekeeping cards and luggage is loud. Room was quiet at night. Breakfast selection is really limited. Staff was great. Hotel is on the corner of a busy intersection, not a quaint location.

This place was dirty and unkept. The floors had stains all over them and spider webs on the ceilings with spiders in there broken toliet paper dispenser it was very low down place to stay.

The sheets were stained and roaches in the bathroom. It was run down and nothing like the photos. But the beds weren’t uncomfortable and the front desk and staff friendly. There was a Publix across the street so after buying lysol we chose not to switch hotels. The view is ok but if your going to Guntersville for some reason try the Lodge at the state park instead or somewhere else.

The staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean & surprisingly sound proof. We could not hear the traffic from 431. The sheets soft & mattress comfortable. The river view was great & the piers were nice. We enjoyed watching the minnows being chased around the piers.

The rooms were filthy and the lady at the front desk needs to remove herself from hospitality, the steps are disgusting and a hazard, the towel rack fell off the wall just by putting a towel on it, we refused to go barefoot in the rooms the floors were so dirty, the hotel breakfast was sub par at best. It was a nicer hotel 25 years ago. It’s really a shame. Lastly the fitness center was closed the whole time but nobody ever knew why? It’s hard to believe all 10 machines in there didn’t work?

We left without even unpacking..tried to get my money back but the front desk employee said that they needed a call from Expedian since was had booked the hotel through you..i was there to take my grandson on a fishing trip and he had such anciety about the room that we had to leave and pay for another hotel same night..we never unpacked and were not in the room but maybe 15, 20 minutes

I loved the staff at the time I checked in. She made sure I understood the lay out of the property since this was my first time at this hotel. Everyone I ran into said hello, how are you, have a great day. I would stay there again when business brings me back to the area.

Great place to stay for one night or more.Full free breakfast buffet.also the restraunt also serves dinner.The best thing about it was the shower water pressure .It was just so invigorating.If your going to be in Gunyersville for a few days I highly recommend this place

Positive - Good breakfast, beds comfortable. Negative - Room was unclean, debris on floors, mold in tub, toilet leaking at base, dirty walls, toilet slow flushing, tv sound intermittent, room phone dirty, bar does not service tables nor provide food, cigarette butts covered parking area, outdoor security camera lines cut, many patrons stand outside of rooms smoking and drinking alcohol. Noise from road traffic very loud inside room, room door would not shut without excessive force. Front desk staff not engaging.

Overall the stay was satisfactory. But there was definitely room for improvement! Beds were very comfortable and clean. But the sitting bench and floor was not clean at all!!

The breakfast definitely could have been better and the coffee was literally the worst I've ever had. However, the room was very nice and the view was amazing. Also, I loved having a bar downstairs from the Lobby. I had a drink there one night and it was very good.

Stopped in for the night because the daughter had a cheer competition in Albertsville. The hotel has a lovely view of the lake and the noise is tolerable if you rent a room on the lake side, if not you will be right next to a four lane highway that stays pretty busy so if you are noise sensitive you likely won’t enjoy your stay. Onsite there was a new bar which made for a fun evening without having to leave the hotel. Employees were all nice and welcoming and I will stay here again if ever passing through.

All in all great stay!
We enjoyed the onsite bar. Most of the pple there were really friendly. Our room was clean ,the bed comfortable. My only issue was the noise of the traffic ,but our room was facing the hwy. That wasn't anything the hotel could help. I also noticed the hotel held an additional 118. on my credit card that is still 3 days later showing as a hold. I will have to keep an eye on that.

Nice hotel. Clean. Front desk receptionist was very friendly and nice. Close to the road so street side rooms get all the traffic noise.

I stayed in room 002 and it was lakefront. The sink drained slow if you turned the water up to high. The shower was awesome with the pressure and flow. The free breakfast was good but not what I was expecting after seeing the reviews. The potato’s was my favorite. I used the boat ramp next to the motel and I strongly recommend to find another ramp. It’s like fishing in Florida all over again. The ramp is too steep and it takes two people to get the bass boat back on the trailer.
