We have stayed here before and were very happy; that's why we came back. Now the gentleman that checked us in was very friendly. However, the remote to the TV didn't work and it took almost 2 hours before someone came with a working remote. When I went to the lobby the next day to tell them we didn't need housekeeping the lady behind the desk was very friendly as well. However, there was a housekeeper/maid in there who had nothing but attitude. I had my dog with me and she made a comment that he was not supposed to be in there. I told her that I was sorry, but I thought this was a pet friendly hotel. She then walked outside with me and made a point of poking a sign beside the door saying that pets were not allowed in the lobby. Sorry, but I didn't even see the sign. Honest mistake on my part; I was in the lobby less than a minute. There is some construction going on next to the hotel, and they were using some of the parking spaces to store their supplies. Probably won't come again; as a matter of fact I made a point of checking out other hotels in the area to stay when we come back. By the way we are coming back in October and for Christmas; I will be taking my business elsewhere and you can blame the maid/housekeeper for that. She should not be interacting with guests at all. This happened on Saturday March 16.
