For an older property it was kept up nice and the room was so spacious! We weren’t expecting that! It was basically a room & a half. A separate tv room with a couch and a bedroom with another tv! Nice. We would stay there again.

The staff was extremely unhelpful. The front desk acted like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for bedding for the pull out sofa. (We specifically put that 5 would be staying so the pull out sofa was needed. They didn’t have enough clean linens and we had to wait til late in the evening. Absolutely no pillows for that bed. The place was rundown and dingy. You could feel every coil in the mattress because they were so old. We won’t be staying there again

Positives: The beds were really comfortable. The room was really clean. No pet smells. We had a good sized room with a couch, table, tv, microwave and mini fridge, bathroom was in the middle, and two queen beds in the back room. Plenty space for a family. Two TVs. Breakfast had several options. Our trash was taken out and new towels brought in the next day. Quiet. Negatives: Old carpet, scratches everywhere from dogs, no lights in the ceiling, small bathroom, it’s a no smoking hotel but there’s smoking areas outside the rooms, the pool wasn’t very clean and slightly cold, you have to walk outside in the cold to get to and from the pool depending on what room you stay in. Cold are came in the room because there was a big gap under the door. I wish there were more meat options for breakfast besides sausage because I can’t eat it. Overall we had a good stay. We slept really good, which is what matters the most. I would probably stay again depending on price. I was hoping for a bit more for the price we paid.

Very good experience. Our a.c. Went out and they couldn't fix it so the guy ripped it out and put a new one in. Indoor pool needs to be warmer, but hot tub was perfect.

Property next door is under construction so it does make parking a little harder however all the staff was friendly, check in was easy, our room was mostly clean ( you get what you pay for), and the room was much larger than we expected. My only suggestion is if the pool closes at nine to have some strictly enforce it, we were located on the indoor pool side so the noise from the pool carried loudly into our room and at 9:30-9:45 we could still hear people and there music from the pool area.

The rooms and pool area are in fair shape but the rest of the property was really run down and dirty. There is one very tiny elevator in the middle of the building and it is quite a walk to some of the rooms. Due to traffic and no stop lights, the property is very difficult to get in and out of. The staff were great though.

Close to everything but quiet and relaxing. Our bed was very comfortable. Cable is exceptional.

It was just ok bed was good room was clean but needs lots of updates and repair. Broken light in room we told them about it, hard to open the door to get into the room. Staff were good and friendly. We told them the issues they said ok we will let them know.

Paid for a suite—hot tub DID NOT work. Couldn’t find the remote for the TV in the second living area. I got CAULK all over me from the fresh caulk surrounding the hot tub. The art work hanging above the bed had shattered glass and was barely hanging so we took it down. I didn’t feel like dying in a crappy hotel suite.

Getting Old
We have stayed at this motel for many years. The last few condition has deteriorated because of lack of upkeep. Handles fall off drawers and screws are stripped so they cannot be reattached; carpets show wear; lock on balcony door was broken. The thermostat on the heater did not work so it was always running full tilt unless you turned it iff completely. So temperature was either too hot or too cold. Housekeeping was hit or miss. They either did not come at all or only partially took care of the room. On the positive side, location was convenient and price was lower than other places. Guess you get what you pay for.

One night in Tennessee, recovering from Dollywood!
All in all, this was a decent hotel! We read the reviews and they were pretty spot on. The rooms were pretty clean. The indoor pool and hot tub were awesome. The breakfast was decent. The bathroom and the front door of the room were dirty! Just needed a good cleaning and scrub down. We slept just fine!

The night clerk did not handle my concerns other than offer I could just leave and not check-in. I prepaid my reservation 2 weeks before arriving. The night clerk acknowledged that but added he still needed my credit csrd for a deposit of $100 "for incidentals". I asked what that could possibly be. Incidentals? Do you have pay-per-view TV, fridge minibar, or room service? He said it is to cover things I might steal or break that might be discovered after I leave. "If you don't agree, I can't check you in. He refused to examine the room with me or provide a checklist of items that could possibly be taken. He calls me a possible vandal and theif, wants me to post bond on stuff I don't know exists. It was 8PM, I traveled all day to work, it is 20 degrees outside and he tells me pony up or find a new place to stay.

Spacious rooms for the traveling family. We arrived at 855pm and pool was set to close at 9pm... the young man let us go have a quick dip before he shut it down. cheers!
