Thanks for the heads-up John. The cupboards and drawers are done weekly but they are probably ready for a paint job. When we can get a tradie! Wait in line with everyone else at present.

Sally, thank you so much for your lovely review. WE do try to make Weelaway a really different experience, so it's part of the holiday experience - not just a bit of accommodation on your trip.

Oops sorry about that, the fridge wasn't out of order, it had been turned off....the light switch and fridge switch are next to each other for some weird reason. Maybe I will put a note inside the fridge to say "if it's not cold, please check the switch!". As with anything, PLEASE tell me straight away - we don't like our guests to think we won't help immediately if we can. Cheers, see you next time!

Another person who stayed in the Regency Room I think - yes this room is very cheap for a reason! It does not have an ensuite but it's super inexpensive for the price minded travellor. But if you're looking for something a bit more up market, choose one of the ensuite rooms, we have three and they're lovely.

That's odd! One of our key attractions is that we're in walking distance of the foreshore, coffee, restaurants, the movies etc. In fact, Weelaway is considered one of the few "walking distance" to the city accommodations....but, yes, for those who want to drive, it is a very short drive!

I'm not sure what "not again" means...we only have one room that does not have an ensuite. People book it because it's the cheapest room in Geraldton. I don't "give" people the Regency Room - I put them where they've booked!

Hi, I am terribly sorry you didn't enjoy your stay - I would like to know what caused you to have a good experience. I have looked up the bookings for the 9th and three people were booked through Expedia so I can't determine which person to call. Please always let us know, we can't improvie otherwise!

Ummm, possums! Oh dear , distrubed and thrown out of home by the recent cyclone I would think - can you tell me what room you were in.

Fridge now fixed! The thermostat had decided to go on holidays and it took the fridge man a while to work out where to!

COVID has caused several changes for us, but one day we'll have breakfast provisions again.

Irina stayed in our Regency Room which is super super cheap - part of the reason is that the bathroom is dated....all our other rooms have ensuites and are much more expensive! (But still very good value..)

Oh dear! Sorry about that....I wish you had told me while you were with us Greg. For others reading this review - we don't advertise as a B&B. We provide breakfast provisions as a nice thing to do!! (Though we can't at present because of COVID).

Yes, Weelaway is very central. Just 600m from our wonderful foreshore and great coffee. Glad you liked our little "homestead in the CIty" Craig.

Dear Don, I will investigate the WIFI as we pay a hefty amount to make sure it's good! And breakfast has gone with COVID. We would, under normal circumstances, have breakfast provisions but we don't at present.

Dear Marissa, we are currently not allowed to have shared breakfast provisions or a full functioning kitchen due to Coronavirus.

I have written privately to Tony to give him my abject apologies - I had left the business phone with my housekeeper as I had to rush to Perth and she (a) did not see Tony's late booking on the email and must have turned the phone off before he arrived in the evening. I am very very sorry about this....our system relies on us seeing your booking come through!!

Oh, that's not a good score - I would be appreciative to know why it was so low as we generally get very good reviews. And yes, the location is terrific!!
