My room appeared to have two generations of heating units, neither of which worked. It was 62 degrees in my room and when I went to the office, a man locking up told me he was "officially off the clock." No help. No heat.

Outdated. Within a half an hour of checking in someone came to my door asking if I saw $300 sunglasses on the check in counter and then asked about drugs. Walls are very thin and the people in the room next to me were pretty loud.

The price point was great. But you get what you pay for. The space is incredibly dated. The room was dark. Only had dim lamps. The door had 3 locks, which was great since 1 didn't work effectively. The door didn't go to the floor, so we stuck a towel around to prevent cold air from getting in. Also the heat didn't work properly. The room was clean. The TV worked. The staff were very friendly. The location was great. Within walking distance of many attractions.

Customer service was poor- the attendant at the front desk took a personal call AND took a call from their boss while checking us in and was yelling at both people because they “didn’t feel good”. Cleanliness was okay- clean towels and blankets, but the shower walls had dirt grime on them and there was small black facial or pubic hair in the tub. There were facial hair trimmings around the sink. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the air conditioner, but it appeared to have visible black mildew in it. Beds were comfortable, room only had about 3 available outlets, water pressure was poor, and the door locks were very hard to unlock with the key (not card… good ol’ key). Good location though, in the heart of Gettysburg. Will likely not be staying here again.

Its a hole in the wall, the room is no frills but its cheap as hell clean and a great spot near both battlefields and downtown. The walls are a bit thin so If youre traveling on the budget its pretty great.

In my opinion, this place should be the standard for all reasonably priced hotel motels. Clean, a staff that is always present that made me feel very safe. Not so much as a piece of peeling paint, visible. Does not look rundown or neglected in anyway! Perfectly walkable to downtown Gettysburg. Such a fun town and in my opinion that is the best secret in Pennsylvania. Always something going on and fun fun fun. I will definitely stay at this place again.

Our stay was okay. The bed was not very comfortable. It served our purpose and placed us at the outside edge of Gettysburg for the first two days of the Christmas Festival.

The room was very outdated, including the bedspread complete with cigarette burns in it. No breakfast provided. Staff was very friendly but the owner was rude and ill-mannered. The location is the appeal.

We are truly sorry for your experience we are currently remodeling our rooms as for bedspreads we will look into that matter and replace them, We do have a continental breakfast that we provide to all our guest. We do apologize if the owner came off gruff. In all my years I have never seen him be rude or ill-mannered however there is a language barrier that past guests have struggled with.

I come to town 3 or 4 times per year. Always stay here. Friendly staff, great location, clean at a good price. However i was not thrilled with my last room. No smoke detector, bathroom door wouldn't close, no dead bolt lock. Although the hotel was empty i was put right next to the street by a traffic light. I heard every car saw the shadow of every person walking by because the gap under the door was so big... i won't list every thing. I'll look for another place to stay next time

A very good no frills motel

A very basic hotel. It was missing a lot of the basic items like a phone, clock radio and no password for the Wi-Fi a mini fridge that barely kept anything cold. Now I was staying in the room right next to the office which is different from the other rooms I have stayed in years past. For the money it’s worth it. It’s right in the middle of town with everything within walking distance

The location is amazing. Very walkable to all of the local places in town. Good parking lot. Good prices. I could hear everything happening next door and outside of my door. I can tell you when my neighbor’s alarm went off, when they showered, and hear muffled conversations. It was not ideal, but we used a white noise app the second night and it was bearable. Breakfast is offered- coffee and pastries. Nothing fancy, but it’s a nice touch. I felt the service was rigid. Called us to know when we’d arrive. Absolutely no late checkout. We tried to checkout before our tours and no one was there, so we had to come back between tours to turn in the keys because they wouldn’t let us come at 11:30 when our second tour ended. Stay here if you prioritize price and location. It’s a great deal and it is in the perfect spot!

The hot water was not functional. Because I wanted to shower at 11:00 pm, it was too late to remedy situation. Chuck, the maintenance person, was sincerely apologetic the next morning.

Location is excellent, right on State Circle across from the Capitol building. Lovely staff. Everything is walkable from there. A minor problem with the door unlock mechanism to my room. Took multiple tries each time to gain entry.

Location is second to none. Very clean and very outdated. Surprisingly quiet given the busy location and busy weekend. Easy check-in/check-out and parking.

People sat outside our door smoking cigarettes and talking loudly. They left their trash right outdide our door. I asked a man outside a question and i was told by him to "leave me alone!" "Get out of here!" Was frightened and felt uncomfortable to be outside alone around him. It appeared that he worked there. Strange atmosphere. No one was in the office most of the time. The only good thing about this place is the location!
